This is my favorite face oil ever! I've tried so many others and none have done its job as well as this one. Not only have I seen an improvement in my skin-tone and texture, this oil has been the only one that has not caused me to break out! As well, a little goes a long way. I am anticipating the medium sized bottle to last me for at least half a year.
Pros:
- Light scent
- Absorbs quickly
- Non-greasy - does not make my skin feel greasy hours after application
- Evident smoothing and evening of skin tone and texture after a few uses!
- Clean, easy-to-use dropper to dispense oil
Cons:
- A bit on the pricier side ($60 CAD for 50 mL)
How I use this product:
I mix a drop or two in with my Clinique Dramatically Different Lotion and apply after cleansing only at NIGHT. I do this for two days and take a break for one day and continue this pattern.
For someone with sensitive, acne-prone skin, this product has worked amazingly. I would highly recommend it!

Thanks ChickAdvisor and Arm & Hammer for sending me a sample of this product for review! My teeth thank you!
I brush my teeth two to three times a day and floss once a day and use the toothpaste with my Philips Sonicare toothbrush. Here’s what I feel about the toothpaste after 5 days of using it:
Claims:
- Radiant smile in 5 days
- Strengthens Enamel
- Cavity Protection
- Restores Luster and Smoothness
Highlighted Ingredients: Baking Soda, Peroxide, Liquid Calcium
Pros:
- My teeth feel clean and polished after using this toothpaste compared to my regular whitening toothpaste.
Middles:
- I personally like paste formulas for toothpaste compared to gels, Mint is also a nice flavour for toothpaste
Cons:
- Taste of baking soda is something new to my palate. Be sure to rinse really well otherwise a sweet taste will linger after.
- The tube is 90 mL for $3 at Walmart, which is slightly pricier than other brands of toothpaste.
All-in-all:
This toothpaste promises a “radiant” smile, not a whiter smile. This toothpaste will be useful in maintaining your whitened teeth versus whitening it, so keep that in mind while using this product! Although I have no clue how strong my enamel really is, or the amount of risk of cavities that may develop in my teeth, this toothpaste has kept its promise with providing me with luster-ious and smooth teeth after brushing!

I found this polish recently when I visited my local Sally Beauty Supply and was very happy with my decision on this purchase! The polish cost approx $13 CAD, which is more or less the average price of gel polishes in the current market. The polish can be cured under LED and UV lamps so it can easily be used by anyone with either machine at home.
I got the polish in "Peachy Keen". So far I really enjoy this polish compared to China Glaze's regular polishes (which I absolutely hate), so it is definitely a must try for those who did not like their regular polishes. Here's my take on it so far!
Pros:
- Includes base-coat in formula
- Two layers of polish and one top layer and you're done!
- Easy application process
- Opaque colour after two coats
- Wide range of colours
Cons:
[None so far yet, but I'll keep this updated after a week. I've only just applied it today!]
Overall:
I really enjoy this product so far. This is a great polish for beginners to use as it's not too sticky nor does it dry immediately when you put it on (so you can remove the excess polish easily for a thin coat for curing). I highly recommend it!
You can purchase this polish line at Sally Beauty Supply. Here's the website if you're interested! http://gelaze.com/

I love Clinique's dramatically different moisturizing lotion! I've been using the same lotion for around 2 years now and have stuck to it for a good reason: it keeps my skin happy. My skin reacts to most products I've used in my life, it didn't matter if it was one from the drugstore or a high-end one from the counter, I've tried so so many different lotions until I came to this one. This lotion was the only lotion that didn't cause me to break out, in fact it calmed my skin down, made me aggravate it less during the day, and helped my skin heal faster. Here's my take on the lotion!
Pros:
- This lotion does not break me out. At all. I believe this is so because there are no added ingredients for more skin conditioning benefits (extra oils, chemicals, etc.). It is a simple product and it works!
- It does its job at moisturizing, softening and smoothing out my skin when I apply it. This is ideal during the harsh winter months – which really is 8 out of 12 months in Canada!
- The product is fragrance free. Which is perfect because then it has no chance of irritating my skin due to added scents! (No one is going to smell my face anyway hahaha)
Middles:
- This lotion is a bit on the pricier side, however 125 mL should last you about half a year. A year’s worth of soft skin for around $60 total? Yes please.
Cons:
The pump. Many times when I press quickly down on the pump, a bunch of product shoots out and most of it lands on the counter or the sink and not on my hands and fingers where they belong. However when I press slowly on the pump, it dispenses the product just fine. The pressure of the pump is not ideal for lotion dispensing while you’re in a hurry and has caused me to waste a lot of the product.
All-in-all:
Great product but bad product design. Just be extra careful when you are dispensing the product! If you are searching for a new face cream, then this would be a perfect choice!
PS! If you buy the lotion from the counter during Clinique's gifting season then you would be able to get many fantastic samples from Clinique with your purchase! It's a fantastic deal and I always buy my lotions during this time of the year!

This is one of my favorite blushes because of how light it is and how I can build up the color on my cheeks if I want to. If you are iffy on the price, then I would recommend trying it out at the store first, or buying the mini version at Sephora (I got my mini version at Sephora for $15 CAD).
Pros:
- Subtle, warm shade
- Blends easily
- Build-able
Cons:
- Large flakes of sparkles (so really not made for those who dislike shimmer!)
Overall:
This has become my favorite summer, nightlife, and holiday blush! I love the amount of glimmer it gives me during those occasions, however it might be a bit much for work-wear or daily use at the office. I would highly recommend this to those who enjoy the occasional sparkle in their lives!

I received this product through the Product Review Club. Thank you Nair!
I am a waxing pro and so using this product was a nice change from my regular wax. I used this product on my legs right before I had an important formal dinner to attend. It left no redness and was painless. It was also very fast (took me less than 30 minutes to get both my legs done) and easy for me to use as the application was simple and the clean-up took almost no time at all!
Claims:
- Proven effective on short hair
- 100% rinsable formula
- Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin
- Ultra convenient and easy to use
Pros:
- The effectiveness! The wax took about 30 seconds to heat up to a smooth viscosity. It did not burn my skin at all (I've had pretty bad experiences in the past with other companies with wax that was too hot from following the instructions!), and got most of my hair the first time.
- The non-irritability. I have super sensitive skin and although this product was scented, it did not make me itch after. My skin was also not red and irritated after I waxed my legs.
- The scent. It smells lightly of candy apples (not overpowering at all!)
- The easy, oil-free clean up! Although this product did drip a bit (could have been from my own clumsiness), it comes off easily with warm water. It took me literally 1 minute to wipe all the drips off the counter and the floor. Usually with non-washable wax, the wax would be stuck on and very difficult for me to remove. I love this rinsable formula and I don't think that I will ever go back to a non-washable wax!
- The amount you get for the price. The tub of wax is huge! And based on the amount of wax I used on my legs this time, I'd have to say that I can wax both my legs for at least 7-8 more times. The wax strips and applicator are also washable and re-usable so there's another bonus! It's friendly on the environment and the wallet!
Cons:
- The packaging of the wax. Many companies place their wax products in these plastic container tubs. My main issue with this type of packaging is that the wax process becomes one messy event! The applicator, although big and easy to use, left streaks and sometimes drops of wax all over the bathroom floor. Perhaps a roll-on applicator for this product would be better. I have used a roll-on wax in the past and it has been one of my favorite methods of application as it is virtually mess free.
Another concern I have with this type of packaging is the fact that I am heating this product up with my microwave. I do not use plastic tupperware with my food, so why should I use plastic packaging with a product that I am going to apply to my skin? I wish that companies will make the switch to glass, however I do understand the financial differences between the two packaging styles and can see why companies don't use glass.
Overall:
I recommend this product to anyone who waxes, whether if it's for your first time or as a part of your wax routine already! This product is easy to use and provides a super convenient and simple clean-up process.
*I did not comment on how long my legs stayed hair free as everyone's hair grows at different paces. Waxing has been scientifically proven for your body to last hairless much longer than using razors though, so that is something to keep in mind if you are interested in trying out waxing.

Thanks so much Always and ChickAdvisor for sending me these tampons! The Tampax Pearl line is the only type of tampon I use because of the smooth applicator (so much better than paper ones) and is well worth the price.
Pros:
- Comfortable application: Tampax Pearls are the only ones I use on a regular basis because it has a super smooth plastic applicator. Many other brands and lines have cardboard applicators (or none at all!) that feels uncomfortable or tricky to use. The plastic applicator is very comfortable and great for first time users!
- The absorbancy: I have never leaked from these tampons if I use the right one according to my flow. Generally a regular tampon is good enough for me on my heaviest days, so it does absorb really well!
- The packaging of each tampon: This is by far the BEST part of these tampons. It comes with a resealable opening so that you can avoid having to wrap that gross used tampon inside loads of toilet paper and then tossing it. Great idea Tampax!
- There are so many per box! Since I received the pads, liners, and tampons, I don't think that I will have to purchase anymore of these products for the next few months!
Cons:
- The Tampax Pearl line is definitely more pricy than the other lines/brands of tampons available at the drugstore. However I believe that it is well worth the price.
I love these tampons and highly recommend them to my friends who have never tried tampons before. I believe that Tampax Pearl the best tampon for first time users as it is so easy and comfortable to use, and plus the packaging is adorable. Thanks again Always and ChickAdvisor for sending me this sample!

Thanks Always and ChickAdvisor for sending me these pads! They are wonderful and definitely does it's job!
Pros:
- The coverage: these pads have a long front and back, giving great coverage whether you're standing up or sitting down.
- The absorbancy: These regular pads have great absorbancy. I used it on my heaviest flow days and they absorbed very well and nothing leaked!
- The thin design: doesn't leave me feeling like I'm wearing diapers. For a pad that's pretty awesome.
- The cute packaging: the pretty design on the package and bright color is very appealing to me.
Cons:
- Like the liners, I think that these pads are pricier compared to other brands. However these are worth it if you're looking for good coverage and absorbancy.
- The scent: I can see why Always would think that it's a good idea to make pads scented, but the smell isn't all that pleasant and I personally do not like scented products near my you-know-where.
These are great pads except for the fact that they're scented. If you have sensitive skin, I would not recommend these as the scent might irritate the skin near that area. The pads offer great coverage and absorbancy and are great for heavy to medium flows. Thanks again Always and ChickAdvisor!

Thank you Always and ChickAdvisor for sending me these to try! I love them and a girl always needs pads and liners!
Pros:
- The "wings" of the liners: Perfect for any type of underwear worn. This is optimal for thongs as it can fold back and act as wings. Other brands don't offer this design.
- The absorbancy: I personally start wearing liners as soon as my flow becomes less heavy. These absorb well even on my medium flow days, and prevent a lot of leakage.
- The thin design: I barely feel them! This is way better than wearing tampons and a full on heavy or regular pad. These liners are also thinner than other brands and has equal absorbancy.
- There are so many per box! Holy moly, these will last me for at least half the year!
Cons:
- I believe that these liners are pricier than other brands. That's the only con that I have for these liners. They are, however, of higher quality than other brands available.
I personally love these liners and will most likely purchase these ones from now on. Absorbancy and comfort are what I look for when buying liners, and these have exceed my expectations. Thanks again Always and ChickAdvisor for letting me try this product!

I bought this BB cream literally the first week it came out because it had a shade for darker skin tones, versus the BB creams from Asia (which only has shades for light skin tones). All the other BB creams that I have tried from Asia have been too light for my tanned skin tone.
Although this product is called a BB cream, to me it is more like a tinted moisturizer than anything. However the price is quite good compared to other BB creams/tinted moisturizers on the market as it is on sale often and there are coupons available online for it.
Pros:
- Tremendously moisturizing! It goes on the skin like a face cream, not liquid foundation.
- Glides on smoothly and gives your skin a "dewy" glow, perfect for the springtime and fall. I like to pat on the product and lightly blend it out so that it would have a better coverage.
- Can be used as a moisturizer on cooler days. I believe that the color of the product will melt off during hot days.
- You just need a pea-sized amount of product to cover your entire face, so the tube will last a long, long time.
Cons:
- Caused me to breakout on the oilier sections of my face (the forehead).
- The heavy fragrance. I believe this is a part of the reason why I break out from this product. It smells good, but it would be even better if it was lighter, not overpowering.
- There is no SPF in this product. BB creams are meant to have SPF, however Garnier did not include SPF in this BB cream.
Overall:
This product is a less pricey alternative to other new BB creams on the market. It offers great miniaturization and does even out skin-tone quite well. The best part of this BB cream is that it comes in two shades, one light and one dark. This would be a good option for those who are looking for a BB cream that is more similar to a tinted moisturizer for darker skin tones.
