Haagen Dasz Black Cherry Amaretto

I love Haagen-Dazs ice cream so I had high hopes with this concoction of Cherry and Amaretto flavours, and the new 'Spirits' lineup, but I was a bit disappointed to be honest. Usually cherries go well with almonds, but I didn't find the combination of black cherry plus almond toffee pieces to go well with a strong amaretto flavour on top of that. Individually these would be great, but together, a bit much in my opinion. Although I wasn't a huge fan of this flavour combo, I'm excited to try the Bourbon Praline Pecan ice cream next! -

As someone who cooks Indian food often (and whose background is Indian), I am always interested in trying packaged/processed Indian sauces to see if they actually taste 'authentic' and live up to what we would make at home. I will say that everyone has their own version of classic dishes such as Butter Chicken, and it's because everyone has their own spice blends, family secrets to add in, and we cook by 'taste' rather than exact recipes.
This one didn't quite taste authentic and has more of a tangy tomato based flavour rather than a creamy or buttery taste. The spices and seasonings were also quite mild in nature, likely tamed down for the general public.
Overall, not the best representation of butter chicken, and I'm sure if you were to follow the many recipes available online, you could make a better one from scratch, it's not that difficult I promise!

I LOVE Ghirardelli chocolates, but they're actually quite difficult to find here in Canada. This is one of my holiday fav hot chocolates, and it's great when you added in mint flavouring, and REAL marshmallows (not the fake stuff). It's so creamy and luxurious! The 'double chocolate' makes it suuuuuper chocolately and it's quite the sugar rush! Yum! It's a must try! -

I recently decided to try this brand given the background of ethically sourced beans and fair trade practices. It is on the pricier side, but a portion of the proceeds are donated to fundraising efforts in Guatemala, so it's worth the price! The taste of this particular coffee was pretty mild in nature, and to be honest, there were no 'unique' qualities. If you're looking for a way to have your caffeine while supporting a great cause, this may be a great way for you to do both! They do have additional options in their lineup. Give it a try! -

Wow I was so surprised at how delicious this bar was! I like 'no BS' kind of products that stick to the basics, and this one was true to the ingredient list while upholding the promise of a high protein snack. However, would I say it's healthy? It has 210 calories/bar, in addition to 9g of fat, 23g of carbs and 13 g of sugar. So although it does have a high protein content, it's kinda similar to a chocolate bar (especially given the chocolate sea salt flavour). It's a great new product and line to try though! They also have nut butters! Yum! Can't wait to try those! -

It does have a cookie flavour, but I'm giving it a 4/5 because it doesn't quite taste like Oreos, and when added to a coffee, doesn't come out tasting like Oreo Cookie flavoured coffee. It's quite sweet as well, which might be okay for some, but I prefer to taste more coffee, with a hint of flavour. It's a great product though! -

I received this free to try just as an FYI, so I thought I'd give it a shot. The 'Boost' brand is geared towards those who need added nutrition into their diets to supplement. They have a variety of products to help meet these nutritional goals and needs, but I must say, I've tried many of their flavours and products, and they're simply not very tasty nor delicious. These are 'supplements' and 'alternatives' to meals, let's be real. Most of the ingredients are artificial, and you can 'taste' the nutritional components. Overall, do these serve as nutritional supplements in lieu of real meals or vitamins that individuals may not be able to get otherwise? Sure.
Are they tasty and would I just buy them to drink otherwise? Nope.

I was expecting better quality and results from this product as I've tried several other products from the Amope line and was satisfied. There are three different 'heads' to this tool, and I was expecting it to provide salon-quality and high-end results. The nail file was not particularly coarse enough to file nails well, and the buffing and shaping tools were pretty flimsy overall. The price for the quality/effectiveness of the product wasn't worth it in my opinion. Try at your own risk! -

I will admit that I use these wipes as an adult, and they're great! Because they're made for babies, they take into consideration issues pertaining to sensitive skin, and for that reason, I find these a great alternative to many 'adult' cleansing wipes, which often contain many fragrances and chemicals. These are great as makeup wipes, although I will say that it's still difficult to remove waterproof mascara and makeup, but they do a pretty good job otherwise, not to mention, much LESS $$ than makeup removal wipes. Overall, a great buy, particularly the travel size! -
