I recently tried the new Icy Hot Gel, and although it provided a nice cool sensation (because of the menthol), the effects were not long lasting at all and it quickly wore off. I tried it on various body parts for sore muscles, with the same results. There are better products on the market for a similar price point. -

I can't believe that these nasal rinses weren't on the market decades ago! I've tried a number of other brands, and I like the Hydrasense line for the reasons that they are easy to use and come with alternate nozzles at different spray strengths that are designed for everyone, from babies to adults. The price point is a bit high, especially since these are single use bottles and you can't refill them with your own water and packaged salt mix (like other companies), but the product is well worth it! -

I was given this product to try and I was skeptical given its claims promoting an all natural Goji-berry based concentrate that you can add to hot beverages (eg lattes) and cold beverages as well (such as smoothies). I've tried it in both and was expecting the sweet berry flavor to come through; however, in the latte especially, it came through as a bitter malt and green-tea like taste, as it did in the smoothie.
The website www.gojiccino.com claims that it's antioxidant rich and that it provides natural energy (without caffeine), in addition to listing of a number of nutrients, but it doesn't actually the specify the content of each, just that goji berries themselves have these properties.
This is a definite pass!

I love the variety of flavors available in Coffee Mate Creamers and the taste is great! I wish that they would update the the nutritional information though, as it often says 'per 15mL' or '30ml' and I'm sure that like many of you, when I'm preparing my coffee, I'm not thinking in milliliters, but how my coffee looks in the mug; it would be helpful in tablespoons, otherwise unbeknownst to us, we could be adding hundreds of calories to our coffees on each occasion! -
Dove® Nutritive Solutions Volume Boost Conditioner
Although this is a hydrating conditioner, I didn't find that it gave any additional volume to my hair. For the price, it's a reasonable option for a 'generic' conditioner, although I don't think it quite lives up to its promise.

I regret buying it as it does not provide adequate coverage (although it says medium coverage), is not long-lasting, and is not of good quality overall. There's a lighter shade and a somewhat darker shade with shimmer, but overall, it's a bad combo. Skip this product! -

I've tried this product in many shades now, and although I was impressed with the variety of shades, it can get quite messy and smears quite a bit. Because it is a matte lipstick, your lips need to be well-hydrated otherwise this cracks and does not sit well on the lips. It's 'okay' but there are better matte and liquid lipsticks out there for a comparable price. -

I would describe it as a 'generic' body wash that cleanses and hydrates, although my pet peeve with companies and marketing is the use of 'tag lines' or false advertising such as 'revitalizing'. I'm not even sure what that refers to, and they don't need to resort to the use of such phrases. Would I recommend it over another 'generic' brand? Probably not. But it's the equivalent. -

I recently received a sample of this foundation from Nordstrom and have used it for a week's time. It is a demi matte foundation with build-able coverage that goes on smoothly with your fingers, foundation brushes and sponges. I've tried it both with and without a primer, and was equally impressed at the long-lasting coverage. I have combination skin and find that with other foundations my makeup begins to crease throughout the day. However, this product was great in that it didn't crease overtime on its own, both with and without a primer, and with and without setting powder.
The shade selection is excellent and spans a variety of shades, including medium/dark skin like my own. I would definitely recommend giving this a try!

Lindt Excellence 90% Cocoa Dark Chocolate
Mmmmmm I love dark chocolate, and this one is amazing! It's not at all bitter, and pairs well with wine, cheese, and other desserts. It also melts quite well to make the perfect fondue!! I'll keep buying this again and again!
