The Fellowes AeraMax DX5 air purifier has been a fantastic addition to my home. It helps to reduce allergens, pet dander, dust particles, germs, candle smoke etc from the air to make for a healthier living space. This needs two types of filters, one is an air filter the other is a carbon filter. The filter replacements are $29 to $39. I have only seen them available at Canadian Tire. -

I recently had my old thermostat die out, so needed a replacement asap. I found the Honeywell 7 Day Programmable Digital Thermostat was best for my needs. It offers 7 individual day programming; each day can be set differently. I found this very easy to install (turn off your power first!). The instructions are very clear and are compatible with any heat system and air conditioning unit. I am able to hold the temperature or change it at ease with weather temperature fluctuations. I found this product was about $6 cheaper at Walmart than my local Home Depot. If I needed a new one again, I would definitely choose Honeywell. -
CLR Cleaner
I use CLR (Calcium Lime Rust) all purpose cleaner to soak my shower head in. Takes off the white buildup quite nicely. For bigger jobs just soak it longer. I found mine at Home Depot but you can get it at Walmart etc as well. Worth the price.

I received this product for free as part of the #DoveDryShampoo ChickAdvisor campaign. I was excited to try this dry shampoo, however I found that it didn't work too well in my thick hair. It left a grittiness to it and felt dirty. It is not a clear dry shampoo designed for all colours. It left a powder residue. As with all dry shampoos you have to blend the product in. I think my hair is too thick and heavy to get the volume it is designed for. I'm sure it would be great for finer hair than mine. This dry shampoo did not seem to absorb the oils. Unfortunately Dove Refresh + Care Volume Dry Shampoo is not for me, although I am a huge Dove liquid shampoo & conditioner fan. Great price point, however I don't think I'll be purchasing this product. -

I did have some color rub off on my hand later in the day when I pulled my hair back in a ponytail. Washed off easily and didn't notice residue anywhere else. Cheaper price at Winners. -

I tried Dove Nutritive Solutions Coconut & Hydration conditioner for free for a ChickAdvisor campaign. I have very thick hair and finding a conditioner that works well is hard to find. On first use when I put it in my hair it was like silk. Works like a charm! Left my hair soft and manageable and easy to comb through. A must have! -
