This product is very effective. I've been waxing for years, so I like to think I'm fairly brave to the pain involved. Veet strips are made out of some kind of horrible plastic, and it hurts like hell! My suffering was rewarded, however, by the complete removal of my hideous mustache, and since that was my goal, I recommend this product. -

I've always wanted to try Nair. It seems like such a magical and effortless way to remove hair. In general, it worked ok. I tried it in a number of areas with different hair lengths and textures. It was pretty poor on my legs, though the hair was pretty short when I tried, it was better with course hair and removed everything I asked it to. I tried it on my face - big mistake. It worked pretty well on my chin, but when I tried it on my upper lip, it was a disaster. The hair came off, but it left a rather unattractive stubble behind, not to mention that my lip swelled up like a big pink balloon and hurt for a whole day. Cheap alternative to surgical lip enhancement? maybe, just so long as you don't mind 5:00 shadow! -

This razor is amazing! It glides very smoothly over your skin and leaves nothing behind. I usually cut myself a few times when I shave my legs with my Venus razor, but I have not recieved a single nick from the quattro. One negative thing I noticed was that hair gets trapped behind the lowest blade, and I can't figure out how to get it out (the back of this blade is covered in plastic, the other blades are open in the back, like the venus). This razor is expensive, as are the refills, but I do think this razor is easily the best shave I've ever had. -

I won this product from chickadvisor and it is really effective. Thanks a lot!! It left my hair really smooth, shiny and moisturized. One word of caution: do not rinse this stuff out with really cheap, crappy shampoo (like the stuff you can get for under 2$), it doesn't wash the product out properly and leaves lots of buildup. Probably you (and I) shouldn't be using that shampoo period. -

I'm amazed how fast I read this book, so I will grant that it is fairly addictive once you begin reading it, however...
I found Chloe extremely annoying. She is completely self absorbed and judgemental. Somehow she got it into her head that she should solve the crime in the book and so the narrative is littered with uninteresting and LONG conversations about her perspective on the novel's events. Every character in the book revolved around her, so there was no sub-plot and I believe the book could have accomplished its story in half the time. I found the grand finale of the book particularly dissappointing. It was like Nancy Drew novels, where a series of "coincidenses" leads to the killer feeling vulnerable and instantly confesses everything. I enjoyed the romance mostly, but I thought the mystery was ill-contrived. I give the authors points for keeping me to the end, but they will have to do more to get me to read the next in the series.

The server could have paid more attention to us, but it was a very busy evening in the restaurant. By far the best Thai food I've ever had! -

I've had many very dissappointing hair cuts in the last year, so I'm always trying out new places everytime I want to get my hair cut. Finally, however, I think my desert years are over. I used to love pizza hut when I was a kid, but the last two times I've been there, something has come out totally raw. Most recently it was one of their cinnamon buns, I felt really sick after that. But even if you go to a pizza hut that manages to bake everything thoroughly, Pizza hut has way less selection and creativity in their menu than Boston Pizza. -

Mercato is the best gelato shop I've ever been to. All of the flavours are made with natural ingrediants. They have 72 different flavours of gelato and sorbetto, so it's really hard to choose (they let you sample as much as you want though!) So far my favourite is the hedgehog gelato, which tastes exactly like those delightful little chocolates. The sorbettos are also really good (but don't underestimate the citrus flavours! they are just about as potent as the fruit their named after!) They also have cappuccinos, gelato cakes and paninis, but I haven't tried any of them. I can't wait until the deep freeze is over so I can justify going there again! -
