I have had this blush forever. Back to the days where all I owned was mascara and lip gloss. I have the CoverGirl Cheekers Blush in Classic Pink. Its name says it all, its a classic Barbie-baby pink with no shimmer. I love the color of this blush. However the product itself is not that good. The pigmentation of this blush worse than okay but better than horrible, it is EXTREMELY sheer unless your build up the color. In the picture above, it took me about 2 minutes with heavy swatching to get that color so you could see it. You have to really dig with your brush to get the true color out. It is a good product to have when you are starting out with make up. The sheer coverage will keep you from looking like a clown if you put a lot on. The shape of the pan it is in is really awkward. If wish it were round like MACs or square like Nars. It is hard to get a round blush brush in a narrow rectangle pan. Like all drugstore products it comes with a horrible unusable brush, but I threw mine away. What was CoverGirl thinking! About a month ago, I decided to use this again and the top layer of the blush was not pigmented almost as if there was a film on top. I scraped that off and now the blush works like new. I am not going to repurchase this blush again only because there are lots of better quality inexpensive blushes out there. Overall, it is an okay product, but I would save my money and spend it on a better blush. -

EOS lip balms seem all the rage right now. But are they worth it? I have been using the EOS Smooth Sphere Lip Balm for while now. I have the pink one in summer fruit. It smells good, but it is not my favorite scent. You have to admit it is very cool looking. When you pull it out of your purse you are going to get some stares ( " What is that? Where is that from?....." ) I don;t mind, its a good conversation starter. The lip balm part works good. However, chapstick can do the same. Except chapstick has SPF. Sadly, the original lip balms do not have an SPF. What a shame! What I am trying to say is that the lip balm is not the holy grail, it is not the greatest thing I have ever tried. I works well and the packaging is super cute. One big problem I have with this is what will happen if it melts in the car or something because its not in a contain I believe the lip balm will be unusable. It is not something you have the run to all the stores and stock up on, but I do recommend it. This retails for $3.29, so it is not going to drain your wallet. I really want to try the one in lemon drop, yum lemons and yes it does have an SPF of 15. If I get it I'll add it on to this review to let you know what I think of that one, which finally has SPF in it. Check them out at http://evolutionofsmooth.com/products_lip_sphere.html . -

The Brush Guard is a tool you slide over the hairs on your bush. It is said to help the hairs retain their shape, wet or dry. Also, you can use this when you place your brushes upside down after you wash them so the water does not get into the farrow, the metal part connecting the hairs and handle. I have used these for a month now and want to share my opinion on them. I highly recommend the variety pack because you get all different sizes so you can find which size best fits your brushes. I definitely am going to repurchase when I get more brushes. Go to thebrushguard.com to see the different packages available. You can buy the brush guard on thebrushguard.com ($5.50 shipping included, there is an additional $2.00 charge for Canadian orders and an additional $3.00 charge for international orders up to five packages) or Coastal Scents at coastalscents.com ($4.95 without shipping, but coastal scents shipping is high). I use these all the time when I wash my brushes and i honestly like them.

I just recently went to target and lucky me found the NYC Bronzer in 720G, Sunny! They retail for about 2-3 dollars, $2.74 at my target. I have heard good reviews on this bronzer and decided to give it a try. People say they are pretty hard to find so I picked up all that was left, there was only three. I currently have one open and a backup stored in my collection. I am giving my friend one for her birthday. I have to say I am impressed with this. It is MATTE!!!! I can not pull off shimmer all over my face so they matte is perfect. I have used this for over a week now and am loving it. I recommend this to all, however I am not sure what it looks like on darker skin tones. It is a light bronzer that doesn't make your face look muddy. The only complaint I have is that the packaging is kind of cheap. But I can live with that. The sponge it gives you to put it on is ****, but what do you expect; use a brush and blend well. This is a great affordable bornzer. Mine came with a small sample size NYC cover stick in medium. I tried it out and I really like it. I just ran out of my stick concealer and in need of a new one. It is creamy and covers good. Regular size retails for $1.99 I believe. Medium is pretty light. I use it for under eye circles and covering blemishes. They come in different shades including green, to counter redness! The only thing I don't like about the concealer is the packaging. What do you expect from a cheaper end brand. They spend money on the products quality, but not the packaging. You have to be careful when placing the lid back on so you don't miss and squish the concealer. All in all, I am very satisfied with these products and would defiantly buy them again. Hope you like my first review and stop by for more to come. -
