Marc Anthony's Macadamia shampoo is so gentle that I don't have to bring my conditioner up to my scalp where it would be too heavy on my fine hair. Even in the winter my scalp doesn't get dry. The scent is soft and wonderful. I am very grateful for this line of hair products.

Their Nantucket Briar is my favourite. It's a combination of spices and roses, so it's floral but sturdy at the same time.
The lotion absorbs well and leave skin silky. The moisturizing doesn't have staying power so it's greatest value to me is having it as a scent I can take along with me.
Even though it's call 'Nantucket' Briar, the scent has me think of a summer English cottage. It's strong and, if you're like me, it could cause a headache, but I find it no problem if I put a little on my legs which keeps the beautiful scent present on my person but keeps it away from my face. If they were to make the scent a little softer I would have gladly given it 5 stars for quality.

I can easily see it being used on a daily basis by people with fine hair who don't want it weighed down.
Another good quality Pantene Pro-V product.

What for me is its greatest attribute is the long-lasting scent - it's so fresh and lovely that it's worth it for the scent alone.

I will occasionally get blonde highlights for my hair and the last time my hairdresser was pushing hard for a sale for a salon brand tone-corrector. I was interested in the existence of a product that would refresh my highlights but purchasing it at the time wasn't in my budget that day.
A couple of weeks later I was in a drug store and saw John Frieda's Sheer Blonde Colour Renew Tone-Correcting at a much better price and I purchased it. After another 2 weeks or so I tried it when my highlights began to dull and it brought them right back to where they were when they were fresh!
I don't know if the salon brand was that much better quality than John Frieda's as I never tried it, but for me it isn't a consideration because John Frieda's did such a complete job of renewing my highlights that no improvement was necessary. The price was great for the results it gives and for how long it lasts as it only needs to be used occasionally. I still have my original purchases waiting for me the next time I highlight my hair.

I have a bottle of Softsoap Refill because it's a good steady product to have for the bathroom.
Softsoap has a great gentle scent that doesn't linger on your hands and cleanses well and thoroughly. Even when other liquid soaps may be bought occasionally for their special quality, Softsoap is good to always have on hand as a mainstay.
The scent and soap is not high-quality nor high-end, though, but it is a good quality and that is exactly why it finds itself in most people's washrooms for everyday use by all family members. Recommended.

I purchased this shaving soap because it was organic and for the quality lavender scent. When I began to use it it found it to also be non-drying and so effective at allowing a razor to glide that I could go over areas again without care, knowing there would still be plenty of shaving soap and protection there. There were also no razor bumps in the bikini area, and I found that to be another important aspect of this shaving soap.
It is pricier than I feel it needs to be and I'm also disappointed in the container. I find the consistency too thin for a squeeze bottle as it can get awkward and more product coming out than is needed, and that is where I had to go down for the overall quality. Perhaps it would be better in a pump? Nonetheless, it's definitely recommended and I'll be purchasing it as my shaving soap in the future.

Dawn has seen the inside of my kitchen for years due to it effectiveness and great scents and I'm now using Dawn Ultra Apple Antibacterial Apple Blossom.
I don't presently have a dishwasher so I take my dishwashing liquid seriously - I want power and I want scents that can be described as 'happy'. I find with Ultra Dawn I can put in a small amount and not have to put another thought to it - it'll clean anything I bring to the sink, including a pan used for frying or a baking dish. The scent makes it all a little more enjoyable, too. The Apple Blossom is definitely in the 'happy' scent category.
It could be a little more cost effective, even with being able to use less of it, but it sure is nice to have around. Recommended as the most powerful readily available dish soap there is.

There really isn't much more that can be said of Tide's famous cleaning ability - it's just simply one of the very best laundry detergents there is. But this review for me isn't so much about Tide itself, which is fantastic, but the pod form of it.
The pods clean at the same high effectiveness as the liquid, for sure. The pods are also fun, cute, and slightly more convenient. The merest amount of convenience (like just a few seconds less time) isn't worth the loss of cost effectiveness (value) and the loss of measurement control.
Sometimes there are just some things to put on the quickwash cycle, or that aren't really dirty but just need a little refreshing on the handwash cycle or in the sink, and they only need a little bit of detergent. OR there is a massively dirty or greasy item/s that would need such a number of pods that it would be a waste of money to have not used the liquid instead.
So if you're like me and have a variety of laundry needs and want the control over how your using a product that you spent money on, then you may want to consider the liquid form of Tide as still the solid way to go. If you have consistent-sized and types of loads then the pods may be a little handier for you, and although it's still a little more expensive there IS the cute factor.

I have the OxiClean Maxforce spray in my laundry room along with the OxiClean powder as they each have a little different use for different scenarios. But the OxiClean spray needs to be there for me.
I had a favourite t-shirt come out of the dryer and noticed there were two small oil stains on the front of it. I didn't remember how the even got on there, but now I was afraid the dryer had set them in. It was a new t-shirt and I felt terrible thinking I'd have to throw it out. I sprayed the OxiClean on it, let it sit, scraped a little on the area with my fingernail, rinsed the area under the faucet and then let it dry. The oil stains were GONE and I didn't even have to subject the coloured t-shirt to a full washing again.
The time recommended for the OxiClean spray to sit on the stain needs to be followed to see its effectiveness. I wouldn't recommend this for really strong stains or for things that are difficult to rinse. For example, I tried getting a mocha coffee stain out of a large whitey-beige cotton area rug with the spray but for all the effort it only brought it down to a muted brown splotch. I did get that one out, though, with the OxiClean powder using one of those washers at the laundrymat that are big enough for rugs.
The price is just a little higher than feels right on the onset, but it works out well for the fact that it can truly save items from being thrown out.
For regular to more difficult stains on regular items, OxiClean spray is indispensable. I've tried several over the years and I've settled on this one as it's the best out there.
