I'm a fan of Lay's chips in general and thought the Lay's Stax in the Original flavor would have been a good choice. In terms of the positive features, I liked how sturdy the chip was, which also made it great for dipping. Not too many crumbs at the bottom of the container either. The container itself is made of plastic which protects the chips inside, however, I did find that the lid required some effort to remove and the shape of the container made it a little difficult to reach your hand inside. I had to shake the chips out instead, which is probably better, anyway, if you'll be sharing with others. In terms of taste, I found the chips to be too salty. I was constantly reaching for a glass of water when eating these. However, I noticed that this occurred mostly with the chips at the top of the container. The ones closer to the bottom, weren't as salty. Now, this could have been a product "defect" or I had eventually become accustomed to the taste that it didn't come as a shock anymore. With that said, it's a decent chip, but not my favorite. I prefer the regular Lay's chips to these but the Stax are still good for dipping. The dip did offset the saltiness so it did taste better this way, for me. I'm not sure if I'd repurchase them, though. -

I received this product for free as part of the Product Review Club. The CND Vinylux Weekly Top Coat was a breeze to use. I applied it over a nail polish from the same product line, which I got for free to test out. The top coat went on smoothly without smearing the nail polish underneath. It didn't create any air bubbles, which I sometimes struggle with when it comes to some of the top coats I own. The shine was amazing and I really appreciated how well it dried. The manicure set quickly and I was able to go about with my work without having to worry about messing up my nail polish. As for wear time, I tested the nail polish without the top coat first and it lasted 4 days without chipping. With the top coat, it lasted 5 days, which is pretty good for the type of work I do with my hands. The only thing I would recommend is to have this in a clear bottle instead of a black one so that we can see how much product is left. However, I do understand that this may have something to do with the top coat's ingredients, as the instructions do say to keep it away from sunlight. There is also a warning to not make any skin contact with the product, therefore, you do have to be careful when applying it. Other than that, it's very efficient and worth the purchase. It is a little pricey for a top coat, but you do get what you pay for, so I'd definitely splurge on it. -

I received this product for free as part of the Product Review Club. The shade I got to test was Bloodline, which is a deep burgundy color, perfect for the fall and winter seasons. Upon the first application, I really liked how smoothly it went on and although the coverage was pretty good, I decided to top it off with a second coat. I loved how shiny the finish was and it dried super quickly, which is amazing for me since I always manage to nick my polish before it has a chance to fully dry. Not this time! In terms of wear, I managed to get 4 full days before I noticed minor chipping. This result was without the use of the CND Vinylux top coat, which was also sent for me to try out. On the other hand, with the use of the top coat, it did manage to stay on for 5 days. Therefore, up to date, this has been the longest lasting polish I have probably owned. Considering the work I do with my hands, the outcome is amazing. I would not hesitate to purchase this nail polish in more colors when I have the chance. Definitely a brand to have in your collection! -

I received this product for free as part of the Product Review Club. This is my first experience trying a brow product that features volumizing fibers in it. It's advertised as a mascara and does come with a mascara-like wand applicator, however, with one big difference. The tiny bristles are only on one side of the applicator, with an opposite, flat underside. I found this to be very unique and saw that it was able to hold enough product on the bristles. I didn't have to re-dip it back into the tube very much. However, the fibers were a lot smaller than I expected them to be and there was more gel/mascara than fibers, overall. In fact, I didn't see much of them after I swatched the product on the back of my hand. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be this way or whether I got a scarse batch.
In terms of application, it wasn't the easiest to work with. In areas where my brows are thicker, I found it was easy to brush the product on but on thinner areas, I'd sometimes make a mess. Using the fiber volumizer on its own, it did make the area look darker but I still saw empty patches underneath. It also isn't meant to define the brow shape but just amplify the hairs you already have. Therefore, this product should be used with another brow product in order to work at its best. In conjunction with the Brow Precise Micro Pencil from Maybelline, I did get better results, however, I initially made the mistake of applying the fibers first and then, defining with the pencil. This caused for some of the fiber gel to drag and it just looked weird. The gel also dries quickly, so you need to work fast. The second time around, I shaped with the brow pencil first and finished with a final layer of fibers. The end result was better and looked more natural. In terms of wear time, it lasted the entire day without budging. I think of this product as basically a hair spray for your brows.
Overall, it's a good product to try at least once but you do need some practice with it in order to get it right. Once you do, it does deliver volume and maintains unruly brows. I'm not sure if I'll purchase it again, but with a few improvements, I'm sure this could be an absolute winner. It's just not 100% there yet.

I received this product for free as part of the Product Review Club. I really enjoyed the results I got using this eyebrow pencil in terms of how precise the application was, as well as the function of its dual-ended feature. The spoolie brush really came in handy to help smooth out areas and blend in the color. The tip is really thin, which made it great for filling in the smaller sparse patches, as well as creating a precise arch and tip. You can create the thinnest of lines, so this really made the end result look natural. It also wore well throughout the day, even without any powder over it. The only thing I would change is the shade. I got to try Deep Brown and found it to be a touch too dark for my light complexion. However, if I created very light strokes, as opposed to pressing harder with the pencil, it did look better. I will, however, look for a lighter shade once this one runs out. Another positive point is that there's no need to sharpen this pencil, so no dull end and no messy shavings. You get the same precise results each and every time. I will definitely keep adding this to my collection and it's definitely worth the price! -

I received this product for free as part of the Product Review Club. This was my first experience using a chalk powder to fill in my brows. I usually use a pencil, so I did find this a little intimidating at first because I thought I would mess up the application. It did, actually, take a bit of practice for me to figure out the best way to evenly fill in my brows and at first, this wasn't as precise as I was hoping it to be. It took some work to master a good finish. I also experienced some fallout, so yes, this could get messy. Therefore, the second time around, I made sure to do my brows first and then apply my foundation. Although the applicator itself is soft, it's not as precise as I need it to be. It's good for filling in bigger gaps but if you need to create a more precise arch, it could get a little tricky. Otherwise, the color looked natural on me and it did fill in sparse areas. I did appreciate how long this lasted throughout the day, so that's a plus. Overall, it's a work in progress, I guess, that takes some getting used to. -

It was easy to apply and went on smoothly over the nail polish without dragging any color with it. It also gave the polish a nice shine and it dried very quickly, which is a major plus for me, since I usually end up messing up my nail polish while it's still wet. In terms of protecting the nail polish, I think it did a good job. I only noticed some small chips after 4 days, which is pretty impressive for me. I'll definitely buy this again! -

I received this product for free as part of the Product Review Club. When I first saw the CND base coat, I thought it was a nail polish because of its pinky nude shade. I usually buy clear base coats, so it was a nice surprise. It does go on very sheer and acts as a great foundation for even the boldest of nail polish colors. My nails did not turn yellow and I do believe this helped the nail polish last as long as it did, which was 4 days before I noticed minor chipping. The dry time is also fast. I only applied one coat of base coat and found this was enough, therefore, a little goes a long way. I'm glad I got to try this and will consider purchasing another once I run out. -

The polish went on smoothly and easily and the first coat was quite pigmented enough, although I did apply a second one, as well. In terms of wear, it lasted a total of 4 days before I noticed chipping, which is pretty average for most of the nail polishes I own. I was expecting it to last a little longer, but it wasn't a let down either. Considering all the work I do with my hands, I was pretty impressed. Overall, I'm happy with the product and look forward to wearing it more often. I'll definitely look out for more colors! -

Cleaning the bathroom is my least favorite chore but ever since I've used VIM Bathroom Spray, it's made the task much easier. I've used it on and off for some time now and this is the product I always seem to go back to. I like to spray it on the surface I'm cleaning and let it sit for a few minutes. I use this on countertops, chrome faucets and porcelain and it hasn't damaged or discolored either one. The scent is pleasant and leaves your bathroom smelling clean and fresh. It also sprays easily and disperses the right amount of product. As for the cleaning power, it does its job really well. The chrome and porcelain look sparkly clean afterwards. I also rely on this product for when I know guests are coming over and need to clean the bathroom quickly. Just a few sprays and an easy rinse and I'm done. I've been repurchasing this quite a few times and it never disappoints. Two thumbs up! -
