The two scents I got were in Wild Rose which has a light floral fragrance and Nature Fresh which smells very spring-like and clean. Apart from the lovely scents, the product is supposed to help minimize the thickness of underarm hair, making you shave less often. I've used the antiperpirant for about a month and I've really enjoyed it! I have actually noticed a difference in the way my underarm hair grows, which is now less prickly and thick. I would imagine with continued use, it will continue to grow out much finer and softer. In terms of the antiperspirant itself, I've always loved the Dove brand when it comes to deodorants and this was no exception. It kept me dry the whole day through and didn't leave behind a white film on my skin or clothes. I didn't feel any irritation either since my skin tends to be sensitive. This was an added plus! I would definitely consider purchasing these in the future. -

I received this product from the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. The dual scents in this Febreze Noticeables air freshener are Morning Walk and Cleansing Rain. The scratch and sniff sticker on the box did not separate the two scents but they did smell very fresh. I was really looking forward to using these dual scents and the fragrance it left in my room reminded me of spring. So delicate and clean! I used it on low setting and I found it was enough to fill the room, but the scent on high setting was even more powerful. Even though it was on high, it wasn't overwhelming, which was nice. Even though there were two scents in all, I found that they just blended together to make one. I couldn't tell the difference between the two, but I didn't exactly mind since the fragrance was lovely just the same. In general, I really liked this air freshener. I found it easy to assemble and I also enjoyed the design of the product. I did feel that the scent was long lasting, even more so if I kept the door closed in my room. I would definitely consider buying this product on my own in the future! -

I received this product from the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. The dual scents in this Febreze Noticeables air freshener are Lavender Comfort and Gentle Vanilla. Before opening the box, I noticed the scratch and sniff sticker where you could smell the scents, but it was pretty difficult to separate the two. They both smelled of lavender. The product was easy to assemble and the scent started to fill the room after a few minutes of use. I used the low setting at first and the scent was already enough to make my bedroom smell wonderful. On high, the scent was a little stronger, but I figured the oil would finish much faster that way, so I switched it back to low. There was a little light on the plug-in that showed it alternating between the two scents, but i didn't really notice a difference between the two in the air. I really enjoyed this mix of fragrances. I found it to be calming and somewhat sweet and floral at the same time. I kept the plug in on for about 10 minutes with my bedroom door shut and then removed it from the power outlet. The fragrance stayed in the air for the rest of the afternoon this way. I was really impressed! With the door opened, it wasn't as noticeable since the room is a little spacious but I still got a hint of the scent. In general, I really enjoyed this product and would consider purchasing it on my own in the future. -

Thanks to Chickadvisor, I was sent 6 bottles of the Aquafina Plus Vitamins 10 Calorie water for review purposes. This vitamin enhanced water is flavored with Stevia, which is a natural sweetner, so it's not loaded with sugars, hence the low calorie outcome. In terms of vitamins, it contains a wide range of them, including vitamins C, E, B, etc... some of which are antioxidants. Therefore, I appreciate the healthy approach of this product, but that is all pushed aside when I consider the taste, which to me is a major part of whether or not I will purchase this.
The flavors I received were: Strawberry Lemonade, Fugi Apple Pear and Black Blue Berry. In order to enjoy all three flavors at their best, you need to refrigerate them and drink them chilled. The colder they are, the better they taste. However, I also tried tasting them at room temperature and I didn't enjoy the outcome. I found them to be overly sweet and they had an aftertaste that really could not make me finish drinking the entire bottle. At times, I got the taste of a powdery substance in my mouth, despite shaking the bottle prior to drinking. Some flavors were worse than others. The Black Blue Berry was my least favorite as I felt it tasted like cherry cough syrup, which I hate. The Strawberry Lemonade wasn't entirely awful, but it didn't taste much of lemonade. The Fugi Apple Pear was by far my favorite out of the three. It tasted like apple juice, so I found it easier to drink and it also left the least amount of aftertaste in my mouth.
I'm assuming this aftertaste and powdery feeling was caused by the Stevia sweetner. I would maybe suggest they use a little less of it if they are looking for a way to improve their product. Another downside is that it's not always possible to refrigerate your water, for instance if you're at school or the gym. Therefore, you won't get the best taste out of this product at all times.
On the plus side, I liked the packaging the water came in. It's brightly colored and the shape of the bottle is interesting. The bottles caps were easy to open as well, which is usually an issue when it comes to bottled water. The plastic used is very sturdy as well.
I don't think I would consider purchasing this water in the future, since the taste didn't really appeal to me. I would rather just take a multivitamin instead.

I was lucky enough to win and receive the Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miracle Color nail polish from Chickadvisor. They sent me the shade Perfect Plum (#350) which is a lovely dark burgandy/plum color, great for the autumn and winter months. In terms of color, I think this particular shade is very versatile and can go with many outfits, therefore making it a great staple in anyone's collection. I can't say enough good things about the color!
It comes with 0.45 fl oz of product, and the bottle looks very sleek with its silver brush cap/handle. Although it looks nice, I did find it difficult to hold onto since it tends to be slippery when holding it. It was as though I couldn't get a proper grasp of it. This sometimes made it difficult to have a steady hand when painting my nails. Another thing I didn't like is the size of the brush. More and more nail polish companies have been developing larger brushes in order to cover most of the nail bed in one or two swipes. This one in particular is just too large for my liking (however, for those people who have a larger nail bed, it just might work in your favor). I ended up getting nail polish on the skin around my nails even though I was extra careful. I was able to remove it with a cotton swab, so it's not the end of the world, just a small annoyance, I guess.
As for application, it did take 3 coats for it to look opaque enough. The first coat goes on a little sheer and streaky, but as you build it up you get great coverage. Another issue also came up, which was that the nail polish began to form bubbles once it dried. I did take my time and applied it slowly, so it shouldn't have been a problem, but it did in fact happen.
Now, on to the good part. The negative points I mentioned are all soon forgotten when you consider how long lasting this nail polish is. I wore it for practically 8-9 days and there was no chipping whatsoever! It did start to wear off a little at the very tip of the nail, but no biggie since you can easily go back and cover it up. If you're the type that doesn't have the time to change up their nail polish every second day or so, I suggest you try this brand. It was also very easily removed with acetone, so you're not struggling to take it off.
In terms of this nail polish stimulating nail growth, I couldn't really tell a difference. My nails grow pretty quickly on their own, so it really wasn't something I could have tested out properly.
The average price for this nail polish is approximately $5.99. It is a little more expensive than your average drugstore brand, but you will get the long lasting effect. As you can tell by the rating I gave this product, I am torn between whether or not to purchase these in the future. If I can get past the bubbling issue, then definitely yes!

I really like the Maybelline Super Stay 24 Hour foundation. It is a drugstore brand, so often times, we may think the coverage or quality lacks, but this has really impressed me. It is very pigmented so it does deliver great coverage and I've also doubled it as a concealer! It covers redness, spots, acne scarring, you name it! It also goes on very smoothly without streaking or becoming cakey. My face looks flawless when I use this! I found the best way to apply it is by patting it gently with a damp sponge or stippling and buffing it in with a duo-fibre brush.
Another way I've used this foundation is as a tinted moisturizer. I mix it with my daily face moisturizer and use the tiniest amount of product to even out my skin tone. This foundation is probably best for normal to dry skin. I wouldn't see it working too well for oily skin since it is a very creamy product. It is oil-free, so it won't clog pores and it does come in a variety of shades. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that it doesn't come with a pump. I pour out way too much product this way.
In terms of staying power, this does last me the entire work day and I rarely need to touch up. I don't think this would ever last 24 hours (and I don't see why anyone would want to have makeup on for that long), but it does live up to it's long lasting promise. I've worn it in hot temperatures and it does not budge.
Since this foundation is very pigmented, I would make sure to wipe your face with either a makeup wipe or baby wipe prior to washing to make sure most of it has come off.
I would consider repurchasing this foundation in the future!

Let me cut to the chase and say that I truly disliked this Sunsilk Daring Volume spray. It made my scalp so itchy and my hair felt so sticky, almost like I had smeared maple syrup over it. It didn't even add volume to my hair, which is the reason why I bought it in the first place. I do have some awesome Sunsilk products that I really love but this one does a full 180. Total disappointment for me. I literally had to wash my hair all over again minutes after applying this. Please leave this on the shelf and walk far away from it! -

I was sent the Lancome Tropiques Minerale Bamboo Bronzer from ChickAdvisor after winning one of their blog contests. The first thing you notice about this bronzer is its size and the beautiful design etched on the bronzer itself. The compact and bronzer both measure approximately 10-12 cm across and it comes with a large mirror as well. I like how easily the compact flips open and the color of the compact is bronze with a gold Lancome rose emblem on top.
The top of the bronzer is decorated witha beautiful tropical bamboo image that has a shimmery gold, bronze and pink overspray on top. When first used, you get a shimmery glow, but I like how it gives a natural highlight to the skin instead of being too sparkly. The overspray reminds me a lot of MAC's Marine Life highlight powder. However, just like Marine Life, I'm sure the overspray will wear down with continuous use of this bronzer.
Since my skin is very fair, I was afraid the bronzer would be too dark or orange looking for me, but I happily discovered that it gave my skin a peachy, golden sunkissed glow. For the most natural finish, I applied it using a large, fluffy powder brush and swept the color on my forehead, cheeks and chin. I would even consider using this on my decoltee area and shoulders to add some color as well. This has become my favourite bronzer ever!
Unfortunately, this product was limited edition, but you can find a loose powder version of the Tropiques Minerale line on the Lancome website. This bronzer retails for $45, but it is worth every single little penny!

You really can't go wrong with the E.L.F. Golden Bronzer. If you have fair skin, this will add just the right amount of color to give you a "touched by the sun" look. If you have a medium to dark skin tone, it can be used to add highlight to your skin. I found this to have just the right amount of pigmentation and it won't make you look brown or orange. You can use the colors individually (for example, try using the lightest color as a highlight for your cheekbones and the darkest color for light contouring) or swirled together. I've also tried using the individual colors as eyeshadows and they work well for this purpose too!
The Golden Bronzer comes in a sleek black case equipped with a large mirror. You can find this in the studio line section on the E.L.F. website. Unfortunately, this can only be ordered online, but for only $3.00, it is absolutely worth it! I would stock up on this. It's really great!

Rimmel Natural Bronzer is a great matte bronzer and it comes in different shades to compliment your skin tone. I find this product to be an excellent choice for my fair skin. It gives my skin just the right amount of sunkissed color, without it looking like an oompaloompa! Orange skin is just not my thing... This actually made me look like the bronzing was natural, hence the title Natural Bronzer. You can't go wrong with this product. The colour is very buildable and it blends easily when you use a large powder brush. I've also used this to contour with and it works very well for that too. The price was unbelievably cheap as well! A definite repurchase! -
