I purchased my Coastal Scents eyeshadow palettes off of the company's website. (I am not affiliated with the company- I just really love these products!) I ordered the 88 warm, 88 ultra shimmer, and 88 matte palettes. When I saw the eyeshadows on the website, I was impressed with how many colors were offered in just one palette. The price is approximately $20 for each ( shipping and handling), but it is totally worth the investment. The palettes themselves are very sturdy and come in a sleek black case with labels on each one so you can tell them apart. They were also very easy to open. I expected them to be a little bigger after seeing them on the website, but now that I have them tucked away neatly in my drawer, I appreciate its size. The size of the eyeshadows themselves are about the size of a dime. These will last you a VERY long time because the formula is super pigmented and the color choice is absolutely amazing! You have every color in the rainbow!! The warm palette is excellent too for those who shy away from bold colors and want to keep their looks neutral. This palette comes with both shimmery and satin/matte shades and there are many shades that are great for highlighting the browbone and defining the crease. There really isn't much difference bewteen the ultra shimmer and the regular 88 matte palette, other than the fact that one has a shimmery, pearlized finish and the other doesn't. The quality in all three palettes remains the same. They are long lasting on the lid and I have not had any problems with creasing (with or without a primer on the lid). The palettes do come with a mirror and two sponge tip applicators in each. I prefer to use my own makeup brushes, but it is a good idea if you are travelling. I am thrilled to own these palettes! They are my most favorite out of all the eyeshadows I own. -

I've always enjoyed the BonneBell products, and I had found some of the Lip Lites at my local dollar store about a year ago, so I decided to give them a try. The colors I purchased were Cherry Berry Kiss and Cream Pop. Thetube itself is 7.7 ml which is a pretty good amount of gloss and the packaging itself is very sleek. It reminds me of some of the higher end brands. The wand-sponge tip applicator is very soft on the lips and the product did not get stuck to the plastic tube of the applicator which is great! I absolutely love the scent of these glosses. It smells like sweet candy, you really do just want to eat it up. However, it does not have an overbearing taste on the lips. The colors themselves are very pretty and I love how smoothly it glides on. They are quite pigmented so I don't need to apply much to have the color show up. Even though I appreciate that the formula is not sticky, the gloss did feel a little dry on the lips. I had to blend it in really well to cover properly. -

I had purchased the Dove Energy Glow Daily Face Moisturizer a few weeks ago and I've been applying it to my face every evening for two weeks now. I purchased the light to medium tone since I am fair skinned. The first thing I noticed was the size of the bottle. It is a little small for my liking, however, once I learned that you don't need very much lotion to achieve the desired look, it will last me longer than I thought. I usually use a dime sized amount to cover my entire face and neck area. I also appreciated its light scent. The self tanner's consistency is quite creamy and it does spread evenly on its own. However, for extra moisture and to ensure a streak-free coverage, I did mix the self tanner with some of my regular face moisturizer lotion. If I did not do this, I would have to work the self tanner onto the skin for much longer. The formula does dry quickly, but it does not give an immediate result. I apply the tanner before going to bed. In the morning, I do notice a slighlty darker tone on my face and I must say, it really does look natural. It gave my face a healthy glow and a believable one as well. It did not streak nor turn orange. In order to get a deeper tan effect, I did need to reapply every evening for about a week. In all honesty, the light to medium tone is a good product for someone who wants a touch of color to show up on their skin. However, if you want a deeper tanned effect (i.e., back from vacation look), then I don't think you will achieve that with the light to medium coverage. I have not tried the medium to dark tone, therefore, I cannot say if it does give that desired effect. To conclude, this is a pretty good product and I do think I would purchase this again. I would appreciate a lower price though. -

I recently purchased a few of the Art Deco nail polishes and I was pleasantly surprised. I heard that the Art Deco line was great for creating nail art and now I can see why. Each of their nail polishes come with a very thin brush which helps you create beautiful, precise lines and designs on your nails. This brush is not meant to paint the entire nail like your regular nail polish would. The consistency of the nail polish is very smooth...not too liquidy and not too thick. This allows the brush to glide effectively on the nail. The scent is not overpowering like some of the other nail polishes I own and it does dry rather quickly. I've had some on my nails for a week now and it hasn't chipped (I also applied a top coat). In addition, they come in a range of colors - from the standard black and white to yellow, blue, pink, etc... as well as glitter silver and gold. They aren't the most creative of colors, however, they are good enough for creating wonderful nail art on top of any other nail polish base you wish to apply underneath. -

This liquid makeup remover is very gentle and great for sensitive skin. It has also won an award for the being the best makeup remover on the market. There has never been one makeup remover that I've tried that has successfully removed every bit of makeup after one swipe. This is no different, however, it does remove more than the rest and does not sting the eyes like other removers do. I like that it is in liquid form instead of a greasy cream format. You also only need to put a small amount on the cotton pad in order to remove a lot. Well worth the investment. -

I adore the wet n wild khol eyeliners. They come in so many beautiful colors and the pencil itself is so long, it can last ages. Very inexpensive as well, so you can afford to stock up in every color. The eyeliner glides on smoothly and does not smudge during the day. You can also easily mold the tip so that it becomes more rounded. This will avoid any scratches to the delicate eye area. Other brands I've tried have such a pointy tip which can be difficult to apply especially to the waterline. I am also rather impressed with their white khol eyeliner, since I've found many white pencils in other brands have been very dry and difficult to apply. It is also very easy to remove with makeup remover and did not irritate my eyes. I also love that they do not test on animals. I won't even consider purchasing an eyeliner from another brand, especially when it is such good quality at such a cheap price. -

The Lush Big Shampoo is an incredible product. If you have fine, lifeless, limp hair, then you have to try this. I was a little skeptical at first when I heard that it was a handmade shampoo and it did not look like your average drugstore product that comes in a fancy bottle. I had tried other Lush products and have always been pleased, so I decided to give it a try. The ingredients are completely natural and have beneficial qualities for hair care. For instance, sea salt which helps add volume, citrus extracts which help add shine and coconut oil for moisture. I only needed to use a dime sized amount in order to get a tremendous amount of lather and the scent is so refreshing. My hair felt so clean afterwards and my scalp was not itchy, like a few other shampoos tended to leave it. I also noticed that my scalp did not get oily after a few days and I did have less frizz. The thing I liked most, however, is how much volume this shampoo gave my hair. The bottle is a little small, and the price is somewhat expensive for a shampoo ($20.95), however, I can see this lasting many months, maybe even a year (if you wash every 3 days), since you only need to apply very little. I am so pleased with this product that I've been telling everyone about it. It makes a great gift too, if you know of anyone struggling with their hair. -

I recently purchased one of H & M's nail polishes in "Meet Me in the Dark". At first sight, I loved its color...a very dark brownish purple, which is very trendy lately. I was excited to finally use it, but as I applied it, the nail polish was not gliding onto the nail properly. It felt very thick and required many applications, which made the polish look a little bumpy and unprofessional. In addition, it took forever to dry and left little bubbles inside the polish instead of looking smooth. It also chipped horribly after just one day even with an added base coat and top coat for protection. The bottle is also smaller than your standard nail polishes. I won't be purchasing this again. -

The minute I tried The Vaseline Sheer Infusion lotion, I was in love with it. The first thing I noticed was the citrusy/floral scent, which I particularly love (however, others who are sensitive to perfumes or scents may not appreciate this, since it is very noticeable). The lotion's consistency is light and as you apply it, you can feel that it is not greasy, but rather blends into the skin in a quick absorbing manner. My skin felt immediately silky and soft. I had applied it to very dry skin and it did make a difference to the texture, leaving it less flaky and bumpy. With continuous application, this cream leaves your skin feeling very touchable and the scent did linger for hours. I do wish it came in a bigger bottle though. -

This is by far the best liquid eyeliner I have ever tried. It glides on effortlessly and is very precise in its application. The liner lasted all day and I also noticed it is smudge proof and did not flake. It did not irritate my eyes at all. It comes in a little pot with the applicator pen inside it. Easy to hold and I do not find my hand to be wobbling as I put it on. Great for creating dramatic thick lines, or for those who prefer thin lines as well. Only available in 2 shades (brown and black), but well worth every penny. I'll be stocking up on these! -
