I always prefer a gel product or part gel over a cream based product. I find it improves the texture, absortion and cooling. This Aveeno relief treatment gel cream is no exception. The bottle is large, larger than most. The instructions are written in black on a white background, clear and easy to read. The pump is easy to use, designed so that it's easier to use even if you have limited modility in the hands.
The gel cream is fairly thin, a little goes a long way. The gel cream absorbs into the skin almost immedaitely, leaving my skin satiny smooth. In the areas of irritation there is an instant cooling effect.
The Aveeno rescue relief treatment gel cream is pricey but a good value given the results.

This is soothing and moisturizing, however, the texture is odd - after application it has a tacky finish. I saw others describe it as a "drag" or "pull" to it - in other words, it leaves a VERY matte film on the surface that doesn't absorb, or takes awhile to anyways. My guess is that this is by design as a protective layer to lock the moisture in and protect the skin, which makes sense. I like to use it on my body as the "film" isn't as noticeable, but I only use it as a spot treatment for rough patches on my face, as an extra layer over top of my regular moisturizer. Using it as an all-over facial moisturizer isn't pleasant for me, and makes it difficult to apply any skin cosmetic. So, I use it at night for spot treatment. While it hasn't performed any miracles, it does help. -

At first these things seem like they barely help but once you get past the first few rough days and you adjust to them they really start to help curb the cravings. I just let one melt on my tongue and the urge for a smoke is gone. These really are a good tool to help you quit. Definitely recommend them. -

When comparing prices on the website to those in Safeway flyers, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the online prices were not inflated, unlike many other grocery delivery services. The produce that I selected was good quality. Furthermore, my order arrived precisely within the chosen time slot, which added to the overall positive experience. I enjoyed using the serum. It has an amazing scent and I like the viscosity of the formula. It feels very luxurious. While using the serum I did notice it made my skin feel softer and smoother. That being said, I could not tell if it made any difference in any of the wrinkles and fine lines that I do have. I do like the results I saw, but wouldn’t necessarily consider it effective for anti-aging, especially at its price point. All in all a fun product to try! -
