I received the Aveeno Fresh Essentials Anti-Fatigue Eye Roller via the Chick Advisor product review club campaign. It contains vitamin A, C & E, along with an active ingredient southerwood which is said to have cleansing and protective actions. I loved the idea of loading my delicate under eye area with a load of antioxidant and herbal goodness. It's a great little pick-me-up after a long, late night (partying or studying ;]) for the chronic night-owl. Its fruity smell freshens you up and the nice cool feel of the roller ball is just what you need to feel awake. It applies smoothly and helps you look awake, too. I did notice some improvements in the degree of my dark circles and it really helped to depuff my eyes. You can apply make up over it with no problem. Still make sure to moisturize well at night, and use this in the morning as a cherry on top! Recommended :).

NYX Round Case Lipstick

(especially for its price ;] ) NYX is a very respectable drugstore brand and it does not disappoint! :) I have this in the "gem" and "watermelon" shades and I must say I like the Gem color a lot!!! It is a somewhat bold magenta-pinkish red color and a light application adds an instant vibrant boost to your makeup! Very very pretty :). The NYX lipsticks are very pigmented and goes on super smooth/creamy - what they're known for! I got it for $3.99 CAN and you can probably get this for even cheaper online. They have such a mouthwatering selection of colors and I'm definitely trying more in the future! -
MAC Cosmetics Fluidline

This is an awesome eyeliner (in blacktrack) - definitely a MAC staple! This was my first gel eyeliner and I have been using this continuously for the past year and there are still half left in the pot. On this note, LOVE this cute little glass pot that this comes in ;) There were many great reviews on this, and probably a third cheaper than the Bobbi Brown version - and it works like a charm. Apply with a angled eyeliner brush for great precision :). It goes on super smooth and creamy, adding great definition/color to your eye. It lasts all day and is very much smudge proof - a big plus for me! A great investment in terms of size and functionality - highly recommended! :) -

I had just recently purchased this Revlon ColorStay foundation in Sand Beige for oily/combination skin. And so far, I like it! I was looking for a foundation that is comparable to higher end products but has a drug-store price tag (wouldn't that be perfect? :P) And I believe this foundation works fairly well in that regard! After doing some research on foundations, I saw that many many people have given this foundation great reviews. And since there's a sale at my local drug store, I decided to give it a try :). I apply this foundation with an angled foundation brush, which i believe is superior and easier to blend than with mere fingers (and I found a lot of the foundation is soaked up if a sponge is used..). This foundation has great coverage, and definitely on the heavier side, but I guess that is the price of achieving a fuller coverage, depending on which is more important to you. I have frequent breakouts, uneven skin tone, and scars from acne in the past so covering up those imperfections is a priority for me. It evens out my skin tone really well and gives a matte, smooth, and healthy look to my skin. I love to apply this foundation on one-half of my face first and then the other second just to be pleasantly surprised at how good my skin looks after applying this foundation, ha-ha! It stays on all day and although it's somewhat heavy and does give the look of "yeah you have makeup on", but that's no biggie because it makes your skin LOOK GOOD! -

What can I say? It's NARS orgasm blush! Universally agreed everyone's beauty must-have! I was needing a new blush last year and started to do some research on blushes. Not far into it, it was evident that NARS orgasm is the #1 highly recommended blush all across the board. It's almost like - need a blush recommendation? NARS in orgasm! I felt confident about deciding to buy this blush as so many people and magazines have recommended it and boy I wasn't disappointed! I had actually bought the "super orgasm" shade since "orgasm" was sold out (go figure!:p), which is the orgasm color infused with gold sparkles/glitter. It's a very pretty peachy color, adding warmth and life to your complexion :). Goes well with anything! I've worn this blush all throughout last year and have gotten many compliments on it. NARS blushes are very, very pigmented and come in very generous amounts. I've only made a minor dent on the surface after a year's of continuous use. It stays on all day, unlike quite a few of the drug store blushes. Overall I'm very happy with this blush and it lives up to all its orgasmic hype! -

I love this mascara! The brush separates and defines your lashes extremely well (love!), while also adding length and volume. This mascara totally transforms my short & stubby lashes, making them much more visible :). One thing I love about the CG Volume Exact (Lash Exact as well) is that it is very much smudge proof, as that has been a big problem for me for many mascaras out there. Yay for no panda eyes! It stays on extremely well - it's still very much in tact even after a full nights sleep and/or with rubbing. One thing that I didn't exactly like was that the brush is quite pointy and it can hurt/sting the lash line if it comes too close during application. Otherwise, possibly my HG mascara for everyday use :). -
