After hummming and haaaing over my next perfume purchase, I came across this perfume in Sephora. Knowing that I wanted to try it for a bit before I actually bought it I went ahead and asked for a sample. The name of this fragrance is an apt reference to the scent that you are wearing. Not to make you think that you will smelling like a peice of wood, but as far as I'm concerned the words that come to mind when I think of the woods like rich and heady and dark all sum up this fragrance. You have to try it to appreciate it. Plus you will be supporting a Canadian (Torontonians to be exact) duo that have contributed to fashion worldwide (you go Dean and Dan !!!) -

By reviewing this product I resigned myself to venture into an area of make-up that I don't necessarily fuss with. Therefore my take on this make-up is not from a veteran foundation wearers point of view!!
It took a bit of getting used to using a liquid foundation, but once I got the hang of the application I was a okay!...
The shade match was a little bit off, I'm not as dark as the one that I received and not as light as the shade up from my choice, therefore I still had to blend the colours with my existing powder to give a more even look.
I don't know if I would buy this product per say, as I wouldn't use it like I use my compact on a daily basis. But for the more formal I wanna look all done up fully made up to the nines look I would keep one on hand most definitely!

I recieved this perfume as a recent birthday present from my sweetie... Him knowing that I'm an avid perfume collector and me wanting to hug the beautiful crystal bottle that was inspired by an original Lalique 1920s Art Deco design. I picked this fragrance mainly because of the package, however I found that the fragrance is subtle and I liked the bergamot and patchouli undertones it left on my skin. It helped that the packaging was attractive, and as simple as it looks PERLES DE LALIQUE by Lalique is as the packaging sugesstes, a very delicate sophisticated perfume. With hints of bergamot, Bulgarian rose, iris, Bourbon pepper, Indonesian patchouli, oakmoss, vetiver, cashmeran, it's a sublte statement when you are in one of those mysterious moods.... I've read some reviews pertaining to this particular perfume, and just a cautionary warning to those who are interested in trying out this fragrance, it would be wise to get a sample from Sephora on this one and wear it for the day to asses it's finish. Another bottle is displayed at sephora for a more reasonable price ($110.00 cnd), and is the same fragrance. -

I recently moved into a new house and I was determined to purge some of the not so loved furniture from my collection. Due to all of the costs of closing a mortgage and moving expenses and the need to have my new purchases bought and delivered as soon as I moved in, I wanted pieces that were great but not astronomically expensive. I immediately rummaged thru all of the home show mags that I had collected over the last couple of years and I came across EQ3's catalogue. I was in furniture heaven even though I had a slight preconceived notion that there would not be a lot available in my price range, I still swallowed my fear and went into the store. To my surprise there was a lot of great selection in my price range and I have to agree with Miss Chickie it is a class above IKEA. My most memorable part of my EQ3 experience was the odds and ends section, where I fell in love with my not so perfect leather (grade 3, Awesome) couch!! At almost half the price and just a few scuffs on the side (which you can't even see) I got a really good deal!! Not to sound too much like a testimonial, but I would recommend this store to anyone looking for simple, modern furniture with clean lines and at reasonable prices!!! -

The name on this one speaks for itself. This fragrance truly makes you smell like freshly laundered, just pulled out of the dryer FRESH!! It has lasting power and the great thing is that a little goes a long way. The scent is a note combination of Brazilian Orange, Mexican Lime, Fresh Mown Grass, Cyclamen, Rose Otto, Night Blooming White Jasmine, Petals, Heliotrope, and Musk. It sounds more overbearing than it actually is. This one is a definite must have in my collection, and for those of you that don't know, Sephora will make you a sample of any scent you wish so that you can take it home and try it out. Samples will usually last at least two applications, so you really get a chance to wear the fragrance as if it was sprayed right out the bottle!
Pricey YES..... But well worth the splurge

This is one of those gotta try it restaraunts!! I've always walked past this establishment and thought "That looks really cool"... Unitll curiosity got the better of me and we finally went to eat at the korean grill house. The concept of this dining experience is the do it yourself grill pit in the middle of your table. We chose the all you can eat PORK, BEEF, CHICKEN, BEEF RIBS, OX TONGUE, OX LIVER, SALMON, SQUID, FISH FILLET menu minus the ox tounge and liver!! It was the ultimate meat eatters feast however the all u can eat part goes out the window after one round of servings beacuse you'll be so full you won't want to risk another bite. I enjoyed this experience with my 9 yr old daughter, who was overly excited to cook her own meal , with me on the sidelines warning her of the dangers of fire!!. With that said I would recommend this for a first date spot (very interactive) or one of those lets try something new for a change kinda nights!! -

Okay Ladies, I realize that this one is a bit pricey, but what you get from this scent is purely tantalizing and sensual making it worth every penny and then some. I'm not the perfect perfume guru or anything, however I know my scents and what I like and this scent completely appealed to my senses. Because this perfume has been out on the market for a while you can now find it at perfume discount stores for a fraction of the department stores price. Keep in mind that one of the advantage to buying in the department stores is all the free goodies and extras that come with the fragrance. Either way it is worth the splurge.... and so are u!!! -
