Aveeno® Calm + Restore Age Renewal Eye Gel
So I have a love-hate relationship with eye creams. Either I put them on and they make my eyes stream meaning I dont get past a few days using them or I use them up and find they did nothing. So for this Aveeno eye cream does not fall into either... +
So I have a love-hate relationship with eye creams. Either I put them on and they make my eyes stream meaning I dont get past a few days using them or I use them up and find they did nothing. So for this Aveeno eye cream does not fall into either category so it's a win!
I am definitely finding it reduces puffiness in the morning because I can sleep for 12 hours and my eyes are still gonna be puffy when I wake up!
In terms of dark circles - I am seeing a difference in them so I only hope that continuing to use it over the next few months will see them diminish even further.
I have also found this eye cream has sneaked its way over to my husband's side of the vanity on numerous occasions! He has eye wrinkles and he likes using this as he says it makes his eyes feel more awake, less dry and way more hydrated.
I especially like using this with my Aveeno serum - something about finding two items in the same range that I really enjoy just makes my OCD brain happy!
I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more facial skincare from this particular line!

I found myself reaching for this serum over others that I have and love. It feels calming on my skin, feels like giving my face a big glass of water and doesn't bring up any temporary redness like some other serums I have do at initial application. Most importantly this sits amazingly under make-up. I have dry skin so a serum or oil in the AM before applying makeup is a must if I don't want to be a flaky mess by midday - Aveeno you got my back with this one!
I did find the bottle a little small which one hand is great for throwing my bag for the gym but I would like a bigger size - maybe one is available.
I appreciate the pump dispenser and also that you can easily unscrew the pump top to really get every last bit out - which you better believe I will be doing!
I also love the packaging - very minimalist but looks high end. One skincare item I don't have to hide under my sink because it looks ugly - sad but true!
Keep doing what you're doing Aveeno - my face thanks you!

I have been loving Aveeno recently so I was excited to try this moisturiser with SPF - because really...who needs two separate steps right?!
I loved that this wasn't greasy AT ALL and melted into my skin really quickly. I also appreciated that it didn't pill under my foundation. That being said I didn't like this under my foundation as I found it soaked into my skin too fast (is that a thing!?) and left my foundation a little harder to blend but I will definitely try it under maybe a glowier foundation than my current one. It's not tinted but by some wizardary did it seem to even my skin tone - it sure did!
Now....will I love this in the summer on no make-up days and will I be packing this in my luggage for my down south vacation in March to wear by the pool - you bet I will!
I can't yet attest to the sun protection factor because...uh hellooo Canadian Winter but I have high hopes because it's Aveeno!

I was having a bit of a bad skin week - redness & dryness so I was a little hesitant to try something new but knowing the aveeno brand and that it is gentle...i went for it. So glad i did as the next morning my face looked visibly calmer and felt so much better. Continued using it for the next few days and haven looked back since! -

Not gonna lie - i was skeptical. But i was pleasantly surprised by this product!
Will it replace me using real garlic and real lemon when i can? No. Will it be great in a pinch when i dont have those things on hand? Yes!
While the flavour isnt the same as the real stuff it is good enough for what the product is.
One thing i did love it for was our cottage and camping trips this year - i find i have sacrificed taste in the past on such occasions because i didnt want to take fresh products that would spoil. This is a great option for that!

I never get fevers. Ever. But this month as if sent to test me and my new medicine cabinet resident..i got a fever. I had it in the morning and I took a Motrin and by lunch it was significantly more manageable.
And that time of the month when I want to curl up in bed and do nothing...well I still wanted to do that but it wasn't due to cramping.. The Motin saw to that (and I rarely find any pain killer that alleviates that!)
These were easy to swallow and fast acting. What more could you want?!
This will definitely be my one stop bang for buck buddy when travelling now too!

I have also used this as a mixer with vodka and fresh lime at a girlfriends birthday party and everyone loved it!
While i tried the regular one i would purchase the diet version if i saw it, over the regular, just because.
If you aren't a ginger ale fan don't write this off!

But seriously, I noticed such a different around my mouth within the first week. Little frown lines minimised and that annoying creased on my forehead in between my brows dramatically diminished!
I loved the texture of this of this oil. It's not super oily and sunk into my skin quickly. There was no offensive smell (actually no smell).
One thing i hated with a passion...that dropper! What is it? It barely "sucks" up anything so i find myself overusing the product just to get enough and that little "button" on the outside seems to serve no purpose, other than getting me a little rattled. Please please look into the design/mechanic of the dropper.
(Side note i used this with the Prep Cleanser and who is to know if the Prep cleanser helped, sped up or even played a part in my results)

It didn't dry my skin out...a huge plus for me. And it smelled nice..another win! My skin felt softer, lookied glowier and smoother within the first few uses. Trifecta win!
The only thing was I didn't fully understand the "prep" part of the cleanser. Should i only use when i am using Retinol? Can I use it when I'm not? Maybe it was prepping my skin because i had no adverse affects to the Retinol, was that helped by the cleanser?
No matter how this cleanser was marketed (as a prep step or not) I would buy it. Would i have bought it as a prep step, probably not but having received it to try for free i enjoy it as a regular cleanser.
