Good & Simple Banana Bran Muffins

I am a snacker, always have been, always will be so was super happy to test these out when i #gotitfree via ChickAdvisor.
Muffins aren't a go to every day or even every week snack for me as i can find them calorie laden and often not worth it. But i do bake my own, grab at a coffee shop or buy pre-packaged if the mood strikes or need an on the go snack.
These were pretty tasty. Lovely banana flavour which tasted like real bananas rather than artificial flavouring. I felt they also had a slight nut taste to them, but there was no mention of there being a pecan/walnut component.
I also loved that they were individually wrapped, easy to throw in a gym bag, lunch bag or grab on the way out the door without having to find a container or baggy.
Something i didn't like about these is that they get "sweaty", which is a pet peeve of mine when it comes to muffins. Its understandable as they are each in an individual wrapper but it did put me off a little. My boyfriend on the other hand, didn't care and really loved them.
I was also a little shocked by the calorie count. With muffins i tend to not know the calorie count as i buy in single form, dont read the label or bake them myself, i do know they are high calorie so thats probably for the best. Giving these a full look over/review i did l want look at the nutritional values however. And for such a small muffin, it seemed high.
I think the price point is a little high. Even though i didnt buy them this time around i wouldnt pay full price for them. Would i buy them if i wanted an on the go snack and they were on special..quite possibly.

I buy them if i know they are good and wont turn out chalky, dry and tasteless.
This is a great quick make if you are pushed for time or just need something easy that you know will taste good.
I will buy this again for sure.
Only thing is i find that any box mix brownie type things always turn out to make a thin layer rather than a thick brownie slab, but i could adjust this by using a different sized tray.

This body wash..i love! I usually try and wait until my current body wash is near finished to buy a new one..but sometimes i cant help myself when i spot (or smell!) something new. And i do love finding new body washes and mixing it up. This was one of those times.
I dont find the scent lasts much past an hour or so but what body wash scent really does? I wish it did!

Do not take this on an empty stomach though! I learned the hard way and sometimes even now i will take it and while my stomach isnt empty it maybe isnt full enough and it makes me want to throw up. It passes in a minute or so but it is an awful feeling. Try to take right after a meal.

Don't get me wrong i am not sitting of an evening having a blue chair bay rum at home but if we are heading camping or to a cottage for a few nights away in summer..we often pick up a bottle of this. Its refreshing and fun and much much nicer than that other well known coconut rum drink in the white bottle.
We only drink this with pineapple juice as a mixer.

The ice cream is smooth and the "bread" isn't dry and flaky.
Often on special at the grocery store, this is when i buy them as i find them a little expensive at RRP.

For years (no exaggeration!) we have been drinking Caesars at a bar where we love love love their rimmer. We have asked them time and time again what it is and they never seem to know.
Then on a recent leisurely walk round Costco my boyfriend spotted this and his face lit up. He said that he was sure it was this..it looked like it appearance wise and the taste suddenly made sense to him.
We had been using a different steak spice as our rimmer at home (we dont do just the normal celery salt thing!) but it was never quite right.
Purchased it and went home that night, had a caesar and boom! This is it!
It may sound weird but honestly, try it and you will never go back to any other rimmer!
We will be using this with food too, but we just haven't yet!

I have always suffered with clogged enlarged pores that (TMI coming up) ooze little white stringy things when squeezed. Not blackheads necessarily but just little grey dots that never went away. Further research pointed towards my sebaceous filaments. I have them all over my face, worst on my nose (oh my nose!) and my chin. Not overly noticeable to others im sure but its been the only thing i see every time i look in the mirror for years!
Only in the past year has it really affected my confidence and i resolved to fix it. With NeoStrata i think i am well on the way!
I was put onto this product by a helpful Shoppers Drug Mart skincare gal. I was asking about something with salycylic acid in and she pointe me to this. I always thought NeoStrata was out of my budget but its really much cheaper than i imagined. It was on sale when she told me about it but i didn't get it right away, i wanted to do some research. Then i went back in and it was on an even better sale. Ive been back since and its on sale again!
I have been using this for around a week and already see a big difference. The first few days i used every night and it was maybe a bit of a shock to my skin so for now i am on every other night, but may go back to every night, im going to listen to my skin. I wash my face with a gentle cleanser first (not this), to take any make up off. Then i take a small amount of this and massage it into my skin for around 30 seconds then rinse off. My skin does feel a little tight after use but i have very dehydrated skin anyway so im not surprised by this and its not necessarily down to this product.
My skin looks brighter and clearer and i think (i hope) its only going to get better!

I do like to snack on this dry though.
Its one of the cheapest cereals around and its always on special/offer.
