This cream was recommended to me by this custumer, who, despite her age, has AMAZING looking skin. She swears by it.
I don't have any fine wrinkles or signs of aging, as I am in my eraly 20s, yet I couln't resist giving this serum a try.
Maybe I will try it again later, maybe the hot humid summer and make-up combination didn't help, maybe it was something else, but I kind of broke out. I didn't even get a chance to look for other results (as in firmness, or brighter complexion). I had to stop it and go back to my old routine...
I will however give it another try, perhaps when the temperature drops.
I would say, give it a try... I was sold on all the amazing feedback on it, and the price is pretty good.

I remember using this as a teenager. Decent lipgloss, sticky and tasty. It did the job back then, and altough I wouldn't go back to it, I've tried more expensive and high end products very similar to this one.

It is my first lipgloss from Mac. , I never tried one, as I had doubts it would be worth the over 20 $ price. That is until I tried it. It’s very pleasant on the lips, minimal stickiness, great gloss, hydrating, good pigment... I like it a lot and I can’t wait to try out more.
I’m hooked.

This was the first time I actually went for a manicure and pedicure in a salon.
Rouge is a fairly new, trendy nail bar in Montreal. The design is very hip and trendy, great ambiance and... flat screens everywhere playing SATC nonstop. I was sold. My biggest concern was hygiene, so I was happy to see all utensils were sealed in individual packets, they even broke out a new one when I messed up one of my nails, to retouch it. I wasn`t however happy with the results. I am not sure if the lady that serviced me was actually trained in this stuff. Aside from being kinda grumpy and frown faced, she made me feel real terrible about my feet, nails everything. She kept sighing and moaning throughout the entire procedure, I actually felt guilty and bad for having her do this. The final result looked very blah, I had smudges everywhere, and the nail polish looked old and caked on top of my nails. It was a combination of old half dried up OPI nail polish and bad application.
I did enjoy watching my favourite show throughout the uncomfortable process, but I left feeling bad and weird; and everyone at work commented on my nails: how un-kept and bad they looked compared to my usual self-given manicures. It`s a shame.

LoveLorn
I really love this line of lipsticks. It’s so creamy, and it goes on so smooth and nice it’s unbelievable. It really hydrates lips, and the color sits nicely on top throughout the day, without drying out. My biggest problem with lipsticks is the texture. A lot of them end up looking dry and awkward and kinda just sit there on top of my lips which often get those “cracks” in them. Not with this one. The beautiful color slides across the lips, stays put for quite a long time, doesn’t dry out.
I’m looking forward to trying many other shades from this collection.

I got this one in the lovely Creme Cup.
It's exactly what I was looking for in terms of colour, which is what made me chose M.A.C when it came to finding a lipstick that would suit me.
I am just starting wearing real lipstick, and probably that is why I find this produst a bit too much, too heavy. It's not very creamy, doesn't exactly slide across the lip and gives it that sheer, natural finish. But that's just me.
I still love it, and will use it.

I have been using this shampoo for a while now. After reading several articles regarding the relation between SLS and hair loss, I decided to go SLS free, and just in time L’Oreal rolled around with new line.
I honestly don’t know what to say. I cleans well, removes build up, gives a good amount of foam, just like with any other good shampoo. Perhaps it’s too soon to tell if the SLS really makes a difference, I don’t know. It does however make my fine hair finer and flat, regardless of what conditioner I use.
I will finish my bottle, but never repurchase.

I originally got this for my teenage sister, who is troubled by those awful puberty breakouts, and I decided to give a try as well, although I am blessed not to suffer from acne, yet I still get the occasional PMS breakouts and clogged pores due to long days of wearing make up.
I was hoping it would help me achieve that perfect skin, cleanse and help me avoid the before mentioned troubles. Soon into my first week of use I broke out. I continued using it, hoping it’s just a minor reaction as it tends to happen, and my skin calmed down within two weeks. Then, I broke out again. I thought in might be the step 2 cleanser, glycolic acid based, and decided to skip that step, occasionally using my regular salicylic acid one. Problem fixed. After 2 weeks I decided to go back to the original routine and reintroduced the cleanser only to break out worst than in my teenage years.
I stopped it all together, went back to my La Roche Possay Effaclair Duo and everything is back to normal.
My sister didn’t have much success with it either. She has been using it for about 3 months now, and still gets breakouts, and has under the skin swollen “pimples”.
My boyfriend however swears by Proactiv.
I personally didn’t have any success, I believe acne is a very complex problem with many possible underlying causes, and each individual needs a different treatment. That is why, Proactiv might not be for everyone. It definitely doesn’t work miracles.
I guess it’s worth a try, but I wouldn’t get my hopes up.

I’m still not sure what this product is supposed to do. I tried using it as a primer, alone; just to even out my darker eyelids. The formula is weird, very thick; I had trouble applying it evenly and I noticed it creased throughout the day. It creased worse than my foundation or concealer. It didn’t provide much coverage either, nor did it even out my eyelids nicely. -

I’ve read a lot of good reviews about this product so I had to try it out.
Unfortunately I’m not as happy with it. I have fairly good and long lashes already, so maybe that is why I didn’t see a difference.
I found the application a bit difficult. Due to the shape of the applicator it was hard to get the product all over the lashes and when it came to the root application I had trouble again getting the product in all the right places, without getting some in my eye. Aside from that, like I mentioned before, I didn’t see any improvement in the length or strength of the lashes. I am not sure if it takes more than one tube to actually see results, maybe I’ll try it.
For now, I’m going back to my old lash treatment, which works beautifully: castor oil vit E oil.
