These pencils are so raved about I hunted them down for over a year. When I finally found a store that carries them in MTL I went crazy and bought them in as many shades as I could.
The colour payoff is decent. They are super smooth and soft, a bit too much as, making it very very difficult to applyas they literarlly melt on my eyelid. I need to apply them with a eyeliner brush or cream eyeshadow brush, which is ok but losses the intensity of the colour, and tends to leave traces of the bristles on my eyelid.
I usually seal it with a similar shadow, in order to prolong the longevity of the look. I even use a primer before application. Despite all this, they jumbo pencil still manages to smudge and crease like crazy. Its unwearable.
Big dissapointment as the colour are so pretty and the selection is nice. I can only wear them as a tiny little eyeliner right at the base of my lashes, so I can minimize the smudging and keep it under control throught the day.

I dont like it. It does not give me a close shave, I always miss spots, I find it way to bulky which makes it very difficult to manage and the soap bar around it wears out in literarlly 2 shaving sessions (ok, I have long legs). Sorry, not worth it... +

I cant love these for the colour, all the colour painpots I have cannot replace a colour for me, the texture is finish is simply to weird. However, I cannot imagine my makeup routine without them! best primers ever. Period.

Again, as with the eyeshadows its hard for me to review al the pigments at once. They all unique and so are the results you can get with them. But so far, I love every single member of my growing MAC Pigment collection.
It is amazing what you can achieve with them.

I find it very difficult to review this as a whole... Like with many other eyeshadows you can have hits or misses. Each eyeshadow can vary in quality, pigmentation, lasting power etc, I find. Overall I would have to rate them as average, as they are... +

Overall I would have to rate them as average, as they are quite pricey, somewhere in between drugstore and super high end. As far as quality, again, each shadow deserves its own review. I have some that are truly extraordinary, and some that are easily dupable in drugstore brands. All I can say, research each shadow before and go to the store to touch and see them.

This polish is pretty blah! I mean, it's not bad, but it doesnt stand out eithe. Colours are ok, opaque, but still require 2 coats for even coverage; I did not find it to be extra resistant nor did I find it to dry quicker than your average polish. The color range is average as well, nothing special. I would most likely pick the Hard as Nails line over this one.
The only unique thing would have to be the brush, but even so, it might be to big and wide for some.

I love it! Its very long lasting, cracks easily and uniformly and stays on for a very long time. I love the crackle effect, I usually apply this when I am overdue for a manicure, but lack the energy or time. Boom! totally new and fun style in a few minutes!
I want crackles in every colour! I find this particular one very nice, the only negative observatin I would have is the fact that the polish is starting to dry/ thicken in the bottle relatively fast.

These nail polishes are amazing! The are super affordable so I went ahead and got every colour I craved. The payoff is phenomenal! Some shades, like the yellow or orange might need a second layer to get a true opaque even colour, but it dries up fast and I did not experience any clumps. It lasts forever. Both on my toes and nails I got 5 days of chip free wear. It removes easily, which is another plus for me.
I love the colour range, they have efverything from shiny, to matte or metallic.

This place has to be one of the best coffees in Montreal. They only serve esspressos and its derivates (lattes, cappucinos, machiatto). It is one of my top picks for coffee, period.
I only take the espresso, and it comes with a rich 'crema', thick and golden, rich and savoury. Every single time, perfection.
I have never experienced a burnt espresso in this place.
For the cappuccinos, lattes, machiatto and other coffee drinks they use only whole milk, so dieters beware! Another thing you might wanna watch out for is the sugar, altough they ask, if your not quick enough to stop them you'll end up with a spoonful of sugar in your drink. Its somewhat part of the deal.
The cafe itself is a sports bar, with big plasmas playing soccer all over, and posters of the Azzuri plastered all over the walls. They serve random Italian desserts such as biscotti and tiramisu, but they are generic, same biscotti you can get a grocery store and same tiramisu cup you might find in a random desert isle. The spotlight is on coffee.
Every coffee drinker in Montreal knows and appreciates Olympico, for a reason.
