I like this and I don't. I'm torn on whether I love it or if I should fugheddaboutit.
The bottle is tiny, to start with. Tiny. It looks a little bigger because of good design encorporating the wand, and it looks like this will be a sleek, wonderful product. I, however, find it seperates easily, and I always have to shake the teensy bottle - sometimes multiple times during one application - to get a nice, thick line that I'm looking for. When I want to go more dramatic with this stuff, I'm always disappointed. The more you try to put on, the less is there. Go over it with itself to try to deepen the color, and all of a sudden your lid is practically bare where you just applied the stuff - twice! Then there's the trouble of applying it and the pigment seperating. Cue more shaking. I don't know why I'm still using this, except for I'm on a budget and it's all I've got. I often find myself filling in patches with solid liners before I dare go out. I think I got this product as a gift, and I won't be coming back to it when I run out. Which, by its size, probably won't be long. On the upside, I don't find that it smudges or transfers during the day, once it's dry, but the application process can just be such a hassle I need to go through it several times before I dare even leave the bathroom. Ugh.

I'm not really sure how much this cost; I stole it from my sister because the shade (brownish black) was just too dark for her fair lashes.
And what a steal it was! This stuff lasts forever! Well... Sometimes that's not the best, since I'm rather averse to eye makeup removers, and can still feel it on my lashes a couple days later, but at least it lasts all day! It's easy to get seperated lashes or to clump them together into dramatic bunches, and it's amazingly waterproof. It also doesn't transfer during the day to anyplace else on my face. I'm always careful when applying it, because it's hard to get off my lids if I muck up and don't get it right away. Which I find, just goes to show how long-lasting it is.
I've endured some pretty rough times, including crying about 6 times in one day, and this stuff was there for me, not streaking my face; the only thing to give me away was puffy red lips (sometimes attractive!) and a lushly pink nose (not so great). Mascara lines, though? Not at all. Within 5 minutes of composing myself, I was ready to greet the world once more, only to have another disaster make me thank my lucky stars they didn't lie when they said "waterproof". I'll keep coming back to this product!

Originally I bought an Annabelle white eyeliner, which was a complete disaster and another review altogether. But let's just say it was such a disappointment that my mum took pity on me and went out and bought me this as a gift. I wasn't sure, and it was my first Rimmel London product, but... I'm sold! This just glides on so easily, is gentle if I use it on my inner lid and doesn't scratch my eye. It's creamy, but not so bad that the whole pencil tip just falls off and smears across the area of application. Gentle, long-lasting, eye-catching? (no pun intended!) This was one of the best gifts! I'm so glad my mum introduced me to Rimmel; I can't wait to try more of their products. -

Ugh. I'm surprised to say I don't mind the Annabelle MONO Eyeshadows, but the trio? Where did they go wrong? Surprisingly after experience what little there was to gain from the trio I swore off Annabelle products for good. My sister, however, had a couple Monos I tried and they worked fine! What's up with that? Anyway, I found the colours in the Trio to be faint, at best, when I applied them. I usually had to put up to four layers of it for it to have any impact. The browns, which there were two of in the Trio I bought, worked so poorly it was negligable and I stopped trying to use them. It was faint to begin with and only faded rapidly from there. Long lasting? Not in the least. By the end of the day I was lucky to see any residue of the colour I'd applied that morning, and all it did was make my face look tired, ugly, and like I had no idea how to apply a simple eyeshadow. The price wasn't bad (Annabelle usually isn't too bad for prices, after all), but considering the product didn't work for much longer than 15-30 minutes, I basically invested my money in invisible eyeshadow. YAY! Not. At least there's the Mono. -

I love this stuff, though I can't say it's my favourite so far as eye shadows go. I find it far more effective for some reason than the Annabelle Trio Eyeshadow. The colours are much stronger and clearer, and last better, in my opinion, and last all day. I love to mix up to 5 colours along my lids, two of which are Annabelle products, and they are definitely up to parr with most of the others. I do find, however, that it fades a bit over the day, but it doesn't disappear completely! -
