I had the pleasure of hearing the founder of the company, Barb Stegeman, speak at a conference recently. I love that these perfumes support a cause and are so thoughtfully created. Middle East Peace is one of my favourites. The citrus notes are balanced well with the basil making for a very well rounded perfume. I find it very light in application so I do need to reapply throughout the day. But I love the message behind the perfumes so much and the scents are unnmatched. -

I have loved this hand cream for a long time. It works amazing, smells amazing and is naturally derived. It spreads well and lasts a long time. I do have to reapply throughout the day, especially in the winter so the tube doesn’t last a super long time — usually only a couple of months which isn’t that bad. It’s fairly pricey but it works well. -

I’ve been using zap for about a year now. As a spot treatment it works fairly well. I find that I need to reapply throughout the day for max effectiveness. The smell is very herbal and extremely strong and I don’t exactly love it but the product works and is natural so I put up with it. I use it a lot and won’t need to repurchase for a long while so it’s definitely great value for the money you spend on it. Plus, of course, it’s made from a custom blend of essential oils rather than harsh chemicals so you can’t go wrong there. -

About a year ago I stumbled upon the Instagram page for Halo Top. Their cute packaging drew me in, followed by their unique flavor options and then of course the fact that it’s only a fraction of the calories of classic ice cream and I was sold! Of course after some extensive searching I soon discovered that Halo Top wasn’t yet available in Canada so I’ve been longingly stalking their insta ever since.
Flash forward to last week — I’ve finally been able to get my hands on some Halo Top and I was not disappointed. It’s delicious, light & even though it’s made with Stevia you wouldn’t even be able to tell (and I’m picky with my sugar substitutes). Absolutely one of my favorite new treats. Can’t wait to try their other flavors!
