Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Lipstick
I had gotten a sample from the Sephora birthday gift this year and at first, I thought the shade was too dark for my liking. However, after trying it on, the lipstick had a nice, subtle colour which glided on smoothly. Would definitely recommend!

I had gotten this mascara for free from the Elle Beauty Box but I had seen at Shoppers that this mascara would be sold for $12 or so which I thought was on the slightly more expensive side for drugstore mascaras. As many reviews have stated about the mascara, the tube smells like tar. Although the mascara worked just fine, the smell had made me wary about actually trying the mascara since I didn't really want to put something smelling like tar on my eyelashes. I can say that it does give some volume but the tube is unnecessarily big which makes the whole thing heavier than it needs to be. I don't remember the box saying the mascara was waterproof or anything but I had the hardest time taking the mascara off. If any of that doesn't bother you, you could go ahead and try it as it does give volume but for me, I would not purchase this for $12. -

I was just getting into nails when my friend had gave this to me as a Christmas gift. It was my first time attempting a "french manicure" and I think it's great for beginners. I had gotten the "Beige Ballet" kit which includes the pen, the nail colour, base & top coat as well as the strips for guidelines. The pink was the perfect shade and the guidelines definitely helped. The only issue I have with this kit is the pen. When you glide it across the nail, it's hard to get a solid colour as there are streaks but it's easy to cover up when you go over it with white nail polish. However, I would definitely recommend to people just starting with nails! -

My friend had recommended this lip balm to me and boy, am I glad she did. Not only does this moisturise my lips, it gives my lips a great, natural tint to it as well. I had wanted to get some sort of lip tint/lipstick but after using this, I won't need to! Compared to my Nivea lip balm, the Maybelline one is much better. It has a nice smell to it and it glides on smoothly as well without leaving your lips feeling all oily. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for a tinted lip balm because it's totally worth it. -

I was looking for a lengthening mascara as my eyelashes are incredibly short. After looking up possible lengthening mascaras, the L'Oreal Double Extend one seemed to have good reviews and was from a good, reputable brand so I decided to try it out. It was on sale at Shoppers for $6.99 or so as opposed to the $14.99. Maybe the tube was old (since it was on sale) but I realized after opening it, the product was not really liquid like and leaned more on the solid side. However, after applying the mascara, my eyelashes did look visibly longer (however it creates a spider-like look which wasn't what I really expected but it did what it claimed). All in all, I would recommend this to someone else and I think this would be a great mascara for everyday use since it has a lash fortifying serum to protect your lashes. -
