I've tried the pods and the grounds for the McCafe High Grown Organic Dark Roast and they both are great. I don't have a bean roaster but I would have to assume they would be just as good.

I used the McCafe High Grown Organic Roast in my Keurig and it tastes great. If you like a med strong coffee thats smooth you should give this one a try.

I tried this coffee compared to my usual McCafee dark roast and I did find it had a bit more richness. It was slightly less bitter as well. I would definitely switch.
