My Ultimate Mascara
This is more of a dry-formula that truly is clump free as the name suggests. It is quick to apply and there is no excess mascara product mess all over my vanity or eyelids when trying to apply! It is easy to remove, yet I do not experience any flaking after hours of wear. This mascara emphasizes length and provides the natural lash look that I am aim for. If you prefer more dramatic lashes, this alone probably won't become your staple but it IS buildable and works well under other mascaras to accomplish the "double duty" effect. My only complaint is the packaging - could they not just make the tube a little more slender and makeup bag friendly!?
Side Note: My first mascara ever as a teen was Covergirl, and now in my 20s I still stand by them. Despite trying various mascaras from other drug store brands (such as L'Oreal) to higher end products (Benefit Cosmetics, Clinique, Bobbi Brown, etc.) I have ALWAYS returned to this mascara. I prefer the natural "no makeup" makeup look, and therefore opt for black-brown shaded mascaras. However, this provides very few options to select even in the higher end products. I recently tried L'Oreal "million lashes" and "voluminous original" mascaras, but I found them incredibly messy, strong off-putting scents and just not effective for the natural look I prefer. Covergirl has always came through after my spurts of disloyalty and continues to live up to my expectations!

Fine exfoliant for stubborn areas!
I have combination skin: oily on my forehead and cheeks and super dry on my nose. Searching for a miracle product, I purchased this exfoliator for my dry flaky nose since my once favourite Clarins Gentle Refiner Exfoliating Cream just didn't do the trick. I applied about a pea-size amount to wet freshly cleansed skin and was impressed with how well it removed these stubborn flaky patches on my nose! It lifted the dead skin from this trouble area where my Clarins exfoliant could not. The floral scent is a bit strong, and normally I steer away from this scent but it is subtle enough in this product that I don't mind.
However, I was used to the "gentle" exfoliant and was surprised when finding this product as a little more heavy duty. I isolate application to only my nose where I need it, as I find it can sometimes be drying for the other areas of my face. Unlike my Clarins exfoliant, this is NOT ideal if you are looking for an every day use product! I would also recommend following up with an ultra-moisturizing face cream to whichever areas you apply this product. Other than these extra simple steps, this is a wonderful product that will last me a very long time so it was worth splurging $40+ CAD.

Disappointing!
I love Fresh brand products, so I had high hopes when I was introduced to this face serum. I have combination skin, oily on my cheeks and forehead, but very dry and flakey on my nose despite trying EVERYTHING (exfoliation, moisturizers, serums, masks, you name it!). Including tax I paid $75CAD for this product at Sephora, and now after testing and returning - I probably wouldn't pay even half that! While it did smoothly distribute onto my face, the scent was quite strong, especially for a face product (not a fan of the rose scent to begin with). My first impression was poor, but I wanted to give this serum an honest chance and applied every night for almost a week. The results were insignificant. My very dry skin on my nose remained and the serum alone didn't quench the thirst of the rest of the skin on my face either.
Besides that, I am all about quality reflecting the price and in my experience this product did not come close to meeting that bar - no results despite paying $75 sounds a bit overrated to me. I will just continue to search for the perfect serum for my combination sensitive skin!

Soft, flawless and natural curls!
The DevaCurl Wave Maker is a touchable texture whip recommended for those with fine hair ranging from wavy to curly in style (I fit right in this category!). The product comes in a 3 fl. oz squeeze container, dispensed as a light weight cream-whip consistency. Seriously love this stuff. After showering and using the shampoo and conditioner from the DevaCurl Delight Collection, I dispense about a nickel size at a time to my hands, rub the product to disperse it evenly between my palms and apply it to damp-towel dried hair in a soft scrunching motion. Then I follow with the "Frizz-Free Volumizing Foam" to cover all my bases! I have tried both air drying and diffusing my hair after applying these products and the results are great either way: frizz free curls that are shaped to my natural curl and OH SO SOFT to touch! Unlike the original DevaCurl styling products (light defining gel and spray), this new line of products does not leave any residue or "crunchy" feel to my curls! The hold is on the lighter side and my curls will fall after a days wear, so I will spritz my hair with some water and hit my curls with a small amount of the same products to give them a boost!

This cleanser is a jaw-dropper!!
I first received the Fresh Soy Face Cleanser as a free sample with my online Sephora purchase. From the moment I first used it, I knew I would be back for more. The packaging is a squeeze container with a flip lid that closes tightly preventing any leaks (unlike other products I have tried). The cleanser itself is a gel consistency that lathers so smoothly onto damp skin, effortlessly yet gently removing not only my foundation but my eye makeup as well without any irritation. After rinsing, my face feels refreshed, soft, and without residue. If I'm caught without any moisturizer, this cleanser is moisturizing enough and does not leave my skin feeling dry or tight. I have very sensitive skin, which leaves me with a more narrow selection on my beauty products, so I had been stuck using the same old foaming makeup remover since I was in my teens, but say no more! Fresh Soy Face Cleanser has taken my #1 spot.
I have also grown to appreciate the portability of my skin and makeup products, and this cleanser is available in a smaller 50 mL container (available at Sephora for $20CAD); furthermore, it can also easily be transferred from its squeeze container to smaller sized travel containers. My new favourite cleanser travels with me for all my adventures now and I couldn't be more satisfied!
