This product is NOT for Afro-Ethnic hair types. Don’t walk away from this, run!!! Despite coating my hair with this product, I now have heat damage and used the dryer on a mild heat setting about 8-10 inches away from my head (I have a combination of 4A/b/c hair).
This product made for a terrible experience after blowing my hair out for the first time in 3 years. When I washed my hair, it didn’t revert. I figured it would do so after a couple more washes. Nope! My once beautiful coils are now waves that are reminiscent of its glory days.
Btw, my mom also used this on her hair (4A/4B) and was mortified with the results. It left our hair feeling dry and filmy. Perhaps this would be a good buy for other hair types however, if you have type 4 hair, use at your own risk. Please heed this cautionary tale.

I woke up to a ca-ute little box from Chick Advisor on behalf of their friends at Batiste in the mail yesterday and I must say I was absolutely smitten with the appearance of what I found inside!
Upon opening the package I found the Batiste Waterless Cleansing Foam that claimed to have ones hair cleansed and dry in 60 seconds. So, I have to say, I was a little skeptical to use this only because I’ve tried other dry, and no rinse shampoos, before and as a woman with 4C hair, they left my hair feeling a little drier than I like.
In all my skeptical glory, I looked at the back of the bottle to find that the product had no parabens, sulfates, dyes, or phthalates followed by some super simple instructions and a rather short ingredient list (the shorter the sweeter). I decided to put the product to the test AFTER my workout when everything was nice and ‘testworthy’.
I absolutely love this stuff! The feel of the product was ‘clean’ there’s no sticky or filmy remnants left after use. A little bit goes a loooong way. The smell is absolutely divine! There are definite notes of coconut at first sniff but not at all overbearing and, there’s the signature Batiste scent that’s always welcomed.
I really really dig the texture of the product but did it live up to its claim? Absolutely! I was actually taken aback that this worked on my 4c hair and after a workout too! My husband kept asking me if I did something different to my hair all day and I woke up to him smelling my hair and asking what new product I’m using. This definitely checks off all my boxes, and is 100% Ree-husband approved.

So here’s the thing...I’ve always had a love for Aveeno products. They’re one of the few major brands to deliver on advertised and intended use.
I saw this item on sale a couple weeks ago and although I thought I found my holy grail in a similarly advertised product from another major brand, I quickly had a change of heart.
I’ve used Aveeno products periodically over the years and honestly cost is what usually gets me when it comes to making a drug store purchase. You see an item on sale although you went in for another and before you know it, you’re making a quantity and cost purchase versus a quality and preference purchase.
Although I may prefer Aveeno a sale may just be too sweet to pass up. This was what I thought up until the purchase of this bottle....It’s great to be a bargain shopper but that doesn’t always mean you go after the cheapest and I learned that even more so with this product.
My skin has been through it this winter!!!! Canadian winters are noooo joke and with all that my skin has been through this winter and just having ‘bad’ skin to begin with this is a race I seem destined never to win however, in the last little while, I’ve seen a noticeable change and my skin was on the up and up with another product I found prior to using this one but this just changed the game for me....I’m honestly feeling a little grateful in this moment as I reflect on my experience with this product...it’s certainly been worth every dollar and it’ll be worth every dollar even when it’s not on sale in the future.
I’m not one to show off my legs, arms, tummy, or any part of dermis aside from my must expose’ parts like my face but with this...Summer may get some arm and ankle action...WATCH OUT NOW!!!! I’m now a true believer in the brand more than ever....Y’all have GOT to try this!!!

I love it...no...I wuv it. In an attempt to tend to my very dry skin, I’m on a mission to test nearly all lotions and moisturizers that state the words, combination, sensitive, extremely dry, very dry etc.
At this point even if I see a for terribly dry skin, I’m picking it up with not an ounce of shame or a sketchy eye when cashing out.
As the seasons change our skin adapts blah blah blah, I’m no expert but I am a consumer and this was such a great product. My family is comprised of so many different skin types but this literally worked for us all which was aaaaaammmaaazing!!
This is packed with moisture, has a great feel going on, and stays on until you wash it off...even after washing it off, one may feel like baby soft may be words used to describe your soon to be kissably soft skin in just a few short weeks.
LOVED IT!!! Fan much?!?!! ABSOLUTELY!

Soooo...I purchased a whopping 887ml bottle of this number for less than $10!!! I’ve gotta let it be known, the value is well up there when approaching this from a ‘get what you paid for’ angle. It’s got a great smell if you like to shower in mild temperature however, I found it to omit an odd smell the hotter the water temperature got.
I wasn’t very fond of the consistency as much either which could’ve largely been attributed to the Petrolatum ingredient that I found to be as equally concerning as this product is packed with anything but a natural ingredients aside from its first which is stated to be water.
I’ve been using it for a couple weeks and I haven’t seen any change in my skin. For the money, it’s okay as you get a lot of body wash for the amount spent. For the compatibility with other products factor, it’s okay. I use this with Aveeno’s skin relief lotion and it pairs well.
I give this product 3 out of 5 brow raises as well though on account of its ingredients. Needless to say, there’s tons of other brands that have just as many brow raising ingredients so naturally, Olay is not to be penalized in this regard at all.
As such a major brand, Olay could do some use to consumers by being a little more friendly with their ingredients.
Long story long, I still look old but it’s not being marketed as miracle bodywash either. It’s okay and it’s still worth a try.
