Excellent product for those looking to cover horrible roots without having to spend a ton of money at the salon! The first time I tried this product, I was extremely hesitant. I had completely bleached out my hair for the first time, and within a month my mousey brown roots started to plague me. My hair is extremely fine and tends to break easily, which is why I did not want to get it coloured so soon. So, I thought for under $10 I had might as well give this a shot.
To my surprise, after only one easy use my roots were noticeably lighter, and they blended so nicely into the rest of my hair instead of there being a harsh line or mark. I used the spray the next three times I washed my hair, and voila -- my roots were pretty much covered! My hair looked really natural, and most people could not even tell that I had colour in it. The product also eliminated some brassiness from my blonde, which was a nice bonus.
Go Blonder is a great little fixer for those in between colour periods. I still go to the salon to get my colour done...just not nearly as often as I used to, saving me tons of money and time. This product may not work quite as well on darker roots, but for people with dirty blonde to even a light brown should be fine. I also found that applying heat directly on my roots sped up the lightening process. It is even suggested on the bottle to use a flat iron, but I found the blow dryer did the trick. I have heard of some people experiencing itchiness and burning after using the spray, although I myself never did. If you are using the spray for the first time, I would recommend maybe doing a test patch, as well as not using the product too liberally. I found a little went a long way, and the product lasted me quite some time.
