I recently decided to go to Jason Michael's for a haircut. They are located in Square One in Mississauga. Deidre did a fantastic job with my cut and blow dry. She was very professional, and you can definitely tell that she knows how to handle her scissors. She didn't talk a lot either, which I actually liked, and nothing's worse than a really chatty hairdresser. My hair has never looked better after she finished my blow dry. She put volume in my otherwise limp hair. All the ladies who work in the salon are definitely very talented. I saw so many ladies walk out with pretty hair! Although the price is pretty steep at $58 + tip, I will go back here again. To me, going to Jason Michael's means a guaranteed good hair day. -

I get so excited every time I buy this lip gloss. I discovered this little rock star 3 years ago and it is, hands down, my favourite lip gloss of all time. It is the perfect consistency of what seems like little pearls all over your lips. I love the oh-so-subtle scent. Will make your lips sparkle! Although the price is more expensive than your regular drug store brand, I will gladly buy this over and over again until I find a better lip gloss. -

I had the pleasure to try this out through the Product Review Club. I recently bought my first mouse ever which I love, but I'll leave that up for another review. Now I started bringing my mouse to work to be more productive (or to browse ChickAdvisor more efficiently). The Mouse Trap is heaven sent! It is made of a soft, flexible material just like the Neoprene laptop sleeves. It is definitely cute, kinda like a clutch -- but for your mouse, or USB key, or other gadgets you can fit in this. The mouse trap effectively protects your gadgets from scuffs, and allows for very convenient transportation.
As a mouse pad, the outside layer is lined with a 1-inch thick non-slip ring near the edges. Really great idea for people who work on desks with ultra smooth surfaces. However, once used as a carrying case, the mouse pad doesn't lie completely flat on the desk's surface. Not the nicest thing to look at, at least that's how I feel. This doesn't take away from its functionality though. It is a good mouse pad, but I just wish the edges don't stick up like they do now.
Overall, I highly recommend this if you're a gadget chick on the go!

I too like this lotion a lot. It gradually builds a healthy natural colour. When I achieve my desired colour, I apply it every 2 or 3 days for maintenance. Makes you look like you just got back from vacation.

I agree with the previous reviewer in that this will give you results gradually. It also isn't greasy and absorbs well in your skin. I'm very happy about this product.
And also, call me crazy, but since using this lotion, I no longer get itchy legs 1 or 2 days after shaving!

I finally give this product a try after deciding that I probably needed much stronger stuff than the Seaweed line from The Body Shop. I was a bit apprehensive about trying another line for my oily skin, and so the nice lady in the store asked if I wanted to take home a free sample of this facial wash to try out. I am so pleased with this product. My skin has been terrible recently, thanks to the humid days of summer. This product has cleared up my face, and I have definitely noticed a difference on my skin's appearance. This makes your skin tight and removes oil very well. This makes me want to buy other products in the Tea Tree Oil line. Personally I don't like its scent, but it doesn't linger on so it's alright. And for a big fat bottle, this gives you more bang for your buck than the same line's foaming facial wash (which is the same stuff really, just a better but smaller packaging). -

This is definitely the cheapest and most effective way to wax. I have had my jar for months and I still have 1/3 of it left. If you have a little bit of time on your hands, then this is a better alternative to your waxed strips. And it is more effective because you have more control on how much you apply. Make sure though that you apply a thin layer though... if you goop too much on, you might rip your skin (ouch!). I agree with the previous reviewer in that it hurts like hell at first, as is the case with any waxing products. But it is definitely worth the results. Now it's not a big deal anymore. -

The kit includes: Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream (50 ml), Seaweed Clarifying Toner (60 ml), Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash (60 ml), Powder Free Facial Tissue (65 sheets) and Facial Brush. This kit is supposedly designed for people with combination to oily skin.
I went to The Body Shop one day to try out a new daily facial regime. I have really oily skin but not prone to blemishes. The lady who worked there recommended this kit to me. I like the products in this kit differently, so I will rate them separately.
(1) Seaweed Deep Cleansing Facial Wash. I really liked how clean and fresh my face felt after washing with this. It is light and has a very nice subtle scent. It doesn't dry out your face; it only leaves it nice and clean.
(2) Seaweed Clarifying Toner. This is my favourite product in the kit. I use it after I use the facial wash, or anytime I want to freshen up. I like that it is light and gentle enough to go over the eye area without any stinging whatsoever. I ran out of this quickly because I loved it so much, so I went out to get a big bottle of it!
(3) Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream. I don't really think this does much of anything. Another lady who works at The Body Shop swore by it. It didn't work for me.
(4) Powder Free Facial Tissue. I didn't like this either. It rips while you use it. I'd rather use Life Brand Blotting Sheets from Shoppers.
(5) Facial Brush. I like this brush. It's soft enough that you can give your face a bit of a scrub without getting red. And of course, as a plus, it can be used with any cleanser.
Overall I think this is very well suited for people with combination skin. For those with oily skin like myself, you'd probably better off with the Tea Tree Oil products to dry up your skin a little. But this one gets a thumbs up because it makes your face squeaky clean.

This is a really rich conditioner that does the job so well. I've decided to grow my hair for the past year and I've been having a hard time brushing through my hair without any tangling. This stuff works like a charm. Even 1 minute in your hair will do a great deal of difference. I find Aussie products to have really good quality, and this is no exception. Your hair will be smoother, softer, and shinier! -
