I got my palette a few days ago via mail. I live in Toronto and it took about a week more or less for it to arrive, which is pretty standard. The first thing i noticed was the beautiful box, which unlike many shipment boxes, it was filled with kiss marks and the brands name on it. Not like the conventional brown boring box, no offence. When you order online there's also an option for a sample and a free flower crown, which I thought was just amazing and it did look amazing and of high quality. The palette itself looks really classy, with black and gold colour. The formula smelled really good to me, like candy or chocolate. I also own the ABH Modern Renaissance palette, so I did compare them both in terms of the pigmentation. This palette is very pigmented, but not as pigmented as the other. Which is still amazing! There's about 16 matte shades and 4 shimmery/metallic shades, which I think are gorgeous. There's both nudes, berries, and shades to create that perfect smokey eye. So definitely an all around eyeshadow palette! -

I picked this up from bed bath and beyond for less than $3 as I was checking out. I was got very excited to go home to try this mask for some reason. I'm not very knowledgeable with face masks at all, nor have I tried many masks either. It's my first time using a sheet mask and so it was a little bit of a mess when I was putting it on. But I did eventually get it on my face haha, I don't think that it's the mask at fault at all, it's just me being new to the sheet mask stuff. It felt amazing on my face, it's as if my face/pores was breathing for me. It was so hydrating and refreshing, it just felt absolutely amazing. After the 15-20 mins was up, I instantly noticed the redness on my cheeks have diminished completely, and my skin looking radiant and hydrated. Mind you, that I have very dry cheeks, so I really saw the difference in my skin. For the price, it definitely exceeded all my expectations, and I'm in the process of stocking up over the weekend! -

I have a very oily T-zone and dry cheeks, makes for a very difficult makeup routine. I picked this one up from ULTA hoping this one will finally be the one that will give me that ungross oily face, after trying many brands and products. First of, this is translucent so don't be intimidated with the shade because, no, it won't make you look as white as a ghost. Trust me, I have a medium/olive skin tone. I use this powder after I have put on my primer, foundation, concealer and contouring, all in that order. I find that doing it that way helps seal everything that I put on my face very well. It also helps make my make up last longer. Another issue of mine is that I wear eyeglasses, and with the summer season, I wear sunglasses as well. I know I'm not alone in this when I say that there's always seems to be a line on my nose and cheeks where my eyeglasses sit, which sucks. But after using this, it actually stopped it completely from leaving any marks. I don't know if its the reason for sure but if you're suffering from that issue, it's definitely worth a try! -

This is my first ever liquid eyeliner, way back when I was in highschool, about 3-4 years ago. Fast forward today, graduated college and I'm still using it as part of my daily makeup routine! Well not the same exact liner since highschool of course, that would have been gross haha! So what I love about this eyeliner is that it's very easy to apply, and not too fast drying. Meaning if you made a mistake, you could just easily remove that mistake and leave no trace of it ever being there without erasing your whole eyeliner. I also LOVE the felt tip on this, because I find that with brushes sometimes it's way too bendy, and so it's hard to apply and have that precision, that you need to slay that wing! Definitely recommend this especially for first timers. Since it's easy to use, very affordable, long lasting, and smudge proof. What else can you really need? -

I am a liquid eyeliner kind of gal, mostly because of the precision and because I have sensitive eyes. Meaning little bit of air makes my eyes water, and so if I don't wear the right eyeliner, I would look like a person from a horror movie. which is definitely a no bueno. I got this eyeliner from Ipsy, I got excited because it said that it is waterproof, and extra long lasting. But for my first try, I used it at home and not going out, just incase it does smudge. I'm so impressed, because for the first time in what seemed like countless pencil eyeliners, this has been the only one that stayed true to its claims. I use it everyday and theres no smudging, no dark marks under my eyes. I still use my go to liquid eyeliner to do my winged eyeliner, and I use this to fill in my lash line to create a bolder look and make my eyes pop. I will definitely repurchase again! -

I've always seen this brand at my local Walmart and for some reason I always just pass it. But lately I've been seeing this brand pop everywhere on my social media accounts, so i decided to give it a try. First great thing about it is the price, I was willing to try it because even if it didn't work out, it wouldn't have broken my bank! The formula is thick, and I was a little worried at first because I do have sensitive skin, and I get dry patches on my cheeks, so I was worried it'll heighten those areas because of the thickness of the foundation. But thankfully it didn't! I have some blemishes on my cheeks and dark circles under my eyes, and this foundation honestly covered all of those up, without using so much product or using extra concealer like most products out there. I have found my go to foundation in this, and definitely will stock up more! -

I love anything oatmeal because of the smell, but for some reason I don't like the actual cereal that you eat lol, weird I know. Anyway, I have been having really bad reactions with my previous cleanser because it was too "deep cleansing" and it was really damaging my skin due to its harshness. I was struggling for awhile to look for one that would clear up my blemishes, I must have gone through three different brands and kinds, thinking it would help. So when I was this scrub at Walmart, for the price and the description, it got me curious. I was a little adamant because it is gentle exfoliation and I was questioning its effectiveness. But boy was i wrong! It literally cleared out most of my blemishes after one day of using it, and its the most gentle formula I've ever used. I recommend this scrub greatly especially when you have sensitive skin. Don't think that because something is "deep cleansing" or "hard exfoliating" means that it's more effective. You have to listen to what your skin is telling you, not all skin types are the same. -

I picked this makeup remover from Ulta right when I was checking out. I saw that it was for lids, lashes & lips which I actually needed because I had lipsticks that is hard to remove using regular makeup remover, and waterproof mascaras. I'm not entirely sure if all makeup removers specifically for these areas are like this one, but it was wayyyy too oily and didn't really remove my makeup any more than my regular makeup remover wipes. This is 50 mL and i think almost $20, I just don't think that it's practical to have a separate makeup remover for certain areas if they're going to perform the same. So sadly, although I wanted it to work out very badly, it jsut didn't do it for me. -

Many matte lipsticks are a bit drying on your lips, but nothing that a good lip primer or just a simply chapstick wouldn't fix. Except if its the Colourpop Ultra Matte Lip. The packaging is very cute, and not at all as cheap as the price. The formula is runny and does drip all over if you're not careful. It's long lasting because it does stay on your lips for almost the whole day and I had difficulty removing it with make up remover wipes. Now I know all those are good, and you're probably wondering why I gave it such a low rating. Well for starters, while applying, I noticed that it is fast drying, and you have to be careful with layering it because you could literally notice where you swiped it the most. Within less than an hour, my lips or the lipstick on my lips started cracking, and not just the normal cracking, this is literally dry, that looks like the soil when theres drought. The lipstick started to flake as well, which was just absolutely weird, because i didn't even eat or drink anything within those times that it was flaking. I've tried bad lipsticks before but nothing as worse as this. I know there's a lot of ladies that do find this product their go-to, but personally, it's a big NO for me. The picture attached to my review was taken minutes after applying it so it looks amazing, I forgot to take a before picture unfortunately. -

I'm not too fond of hair mousse at all because it makes my head feel heavy and greasy but this one is so lightweight that I dont even mind it at all. The smell is pleasant as well, not too overpowering, and the can itself is so pretty. The colour is so bright that it stands out on the shelves when I go to the store. It's definitely not something I'll be using often but I would on special occasions. Thanks ChickAdvisor for another great opportunity! -
