Love, love, love this powder. Or foundation. Or powdered foundation. However you choose to wear it, you'll be hooked. Worn over the Studio Fix foundation, it smoothes and evens out skin while giving medium (not cakey) coverage. Worn alone as a quick foundation, it gives superb coverage. Pair it with a primer, and you may not need liquid foundation at all. I'll never be without my Studio Fix compact. -

This is a well-priced and effective moisturizer. Not overly greasy, and it does add some luminescence to my otherwise dull skin. One of these days I hope I can find a good spf moisturizer that doesn't have that odd smell - kind of like a self-bronzer but not as strong. That smell is the only downside of this product for me, and it's not annoying enough to prevent me from using it or buying it again. -

I stumbled upon Ulta in Newport News, VA. Being a huge fan of Sephora, but not having one near me in Virginia Beach, finding this (relatively) close by was a gift from above. Although they don't carry my favorite Benefit brand, they do have Hard Candy, Urban Decay, Smashbox, Pop Beauty, Sugar, a huge selection of fragrances, Essie and Opi nail products, plus an entire "drugstore" section of the store. It's like having two stores in one. You can pick up all your favorite drug store lines like Neutrogena, L'Oreal, Cover Girl, and Rimmel, plus any drugstore brand hair care as well. While it doesn't really match Sephora for sheer variety, it's an ecellent substitute. -
It's almost a cliche, but it's true - Orgasm looks great on. I was skeptical, because I've never been a fan of peachy blushes at all. This blush, however, has just the right amount of pink and gold to balance out the peach on my skintone. I'm eager... +

This blush, however, has just the right amount of pink and gold to balance out the peach on my skintone. I'm eager to try out other Nars blushes, but will always keep Orgasm in my makeup box. -

I love Benefit. I've rarely gotten something from this wonderful company that I didn't like. However, Bad Gal might be the first product that I won't buy again. Goes on wonderfully, no clumping, no problems. Builds a great, thick, dramatic lash. However, by the end of a normal workday I've found that it gives me a bit of the racoon eyes going on. Very smudgy. I don't know if their Get Bent formula is different or not, but I'm hoping it doesn't have the smudge factor. -

I have to say, I love the primer that comes with this mascara. The packaging is absolutely huge and cumbersome, but the primer is worth lit alone. The mascara wand, however, that comes with this product is either difficult to use or the mascara itself tends towards clumpiness. I found that after working with it for a week or so, I could keep the "spider legs" effect at bay, but you have to be super careful when applying it. I doubt I'd buy it again, although I'm keeping my tube in my makeup case to use with a different wand on certain occasions. -

I've tried just about every mascara out there. I loved Benefit's Bad Girl, but it got smudgy by the end of the day. Urban Decay's Big Fatty was great, but didn't come close to providing the kind of volume that DiorShow does. It's amazing - truly the holy grail of mascaras out there right now. It has a pleasant rose scent when you're applying it, but it doesn't linger. The wand is full and has even coverage. It's easy to apply, and doesn't require any kind of special handling (like the new LOreal Volume Shocking). The only thing I've noticed is that there was a bit of flaking one day that I wore it, but it was to a physical inventory, and my makeup never lasts 14 hours anyway. But it's something that I'm keeping my eye on. Otherwise, it's excellent. Believe the hype! -
