Wonderful little lippie from Nyx, who have really upped their game recently with new additions and reformulations. The Soft Matte Lip Creams are like a melted lipstick - they go on smooth and creamy, then dry to a matte finish that stays put. The colors are beautiful, although you do have to be careful when choosing because some of them are very different than they appear in the website photos. And the smell is delicious, like a buttery cookie just out of the oven! Paraben-free formula. A winner :) -

Wonderful primer! A little goes a VERY long way, so the price ends up being reasonable for the amount of usage you get. Goes on smooth and silky, evening out your skintone and giving it a nice matte finish. Wear alone or under your makeup for a shine-free, budge-proof look. Natural ingredients and no parabens are also a big plus. -

I wanted to love this mascara, but the best I can do is feel mehhh about it. First, the smell irritates my eyes, almost like the chemicals are offing toxic vapors. Second, it dries very brittle and stiff. Third, it sticks my lashes together so it appears that I have four lashes instead of however many I actually have. Fifth, it's difficult to remove. Sixth, it's pricey. I expect more from something I'm paying that much for, and the quality just isn't there. I know it's well reviewed and highly touted by celebrities, etc...but I just don't like it, period. Fortunately the one I have came from a sample box so I didn't have to pay $20 just to find out I hate it. Sorry BeneFit - I usually love you! -

This is THE BEST smelling hand cream ever - in fact, all the scents in this line are outstanding. They smell like the real thing, not some synthetic chemically-reproduced smell. And the quality is amazing! Smooth, creamy, soft, non-greasy, melts into your skin and leaves it baby-soft and lightly scented. No parabens, so that's another plus. Comes in a handy 2 oz tube for your purse or a larger size for your drawer. -

The girls at the Fort Smith AR store (in Central Mall) go above and beyond to make your shopping experience a great one - they're quick to help, friendly, accommodating, and will leave you alone if you want them to (which is a plus when you just want to wander around and sniff everything). They're super with returns and trade-ins as well...no questions asked, just go grab whatever you want and they'll get it done for you. I've rarely ever come across anything out of stock, and when it has happened, they've immediately offered to hold one for me as soon as new stock arrives. Probably the best trained staff I've ever encountered. -

I like Burt's Bees baby products because they're tear-free, paraben-free, mostly natural, and partly organic. I can plonk my kid into the bathtub and not have to worry about whether the bubbles are going to give him something incurable. There's also no scent, so if your child has allergies, this won't send him into an asthmatic fit or break him out in hives. The bubbles aren't quite as lush or prolific as mainstream-marketed bubblebath products, but that's due to the lack of dangerous chemicals and additives, so I can live with it happily. The bottle is quite large and a little bit goes a long way. Burt's Bees is no more expensive than Bath and Body Works, so if I can shop there for myself, I can shop with Burt for my kiddos :) -

Love Body Shop butters, but you have to be careful and read the ingredients lists on each one if you're concerned about certain chemical additives such as parabens - some of their scents have it and some don't. Fortunately the coconut doesn't. Smells great, goes on smooth, melts down to a buttery texture and sinks in without leaving a greasy residue. The tubs aren't the best idea since you have to dip your fingers into the product every time you use it, leaving behind bacteria and whatever else you happened to have on your hands, but I can overlook that since I'm the only one using it. High marks for quality, and the formula leaves your skin very soft and lightly scented. -

I really like this powder - I received it in a swap and fell in love with it, but at $38 to repurchase, I think I'll be finding a more affordable alternative. Works very well at keeping shine at bay, but then so does a square of toilet paper. That said, I have to give it high marks for quality and effectiveness, and I like that it doesn't add any color to your face (I have the Translucent). The packaging is very nice too. Formulated without parabens, so that's a plus. But again...so is a square of toilet paper! -

ELF Studio Blush is great - the colors are near-exact replicas of a famous high-end brand's most popular shades, and the quality (while not quite on par with that same brand's) is commendable. The color doesn't last all day, but at $3.00 you can afford to reapply if necessary. Highly recommended! -

ELF has come a long way from dollar store bins! The single shadows are beautiful, with great colors and easy application. The color is very buildable so even if the initial color payoff isn't great on some of the shades, you can get there. I recommend using a primer under them for the best color and to help them stay put longer, as they do have a tendency to crease and shift a bit as the day goes on. Love the container, it's a NARS lookalike style that makes your $3.00 shadow look like high-end cosmetics! You also get a huge amount, so it's well worth the money. Formulated without parabens, which is a huge plus. The current colors available are mostly muted neutrals, so I really wish they would put out more brights, rich darks, and "extreme" colors like the blue in the photo (they don't have that color anymore). -
