Mica Beauty Tinted Lip Balm
This little pot of color is awesome - applied with a lip brush, it gives your lips a beautiful full coverage (not unlike a creamy lipstick) that is very long lasting. It has a stain effect and reminds me very much of the "semi permanent" lip colors... +
This little pot of color is awesome - applied with a lip brush, it gives your lips a beautiful full coverage (not unlike a creamy lipstick) that is very long lasting. It has a stain effect and reminds me very much of the "semi permanent" lip colors that were popular a few years back. It's a bit drying, but if you apply a gloss on top of it the color is greatly enhanced, as well as the moisturizing properties. Love that it is paraben-free and doesn't use a lot of the scary chemicals that other brands use! I believe this comes with a built-n brush in the cap, but the one I received via Ipsy is just in a pot without the brush. It seems expensive, but a little goes a VERY long way and I haven't been able to use up a pot in the six months or so that I've had it. "Natural" is a gorgeous neutral shade that should compliment almost any skin tone, and "Fiesta" is a nice medium-bright pink that is very wearable. Convenient to toss into your purse, although I don't recommend applying with your finger because it will stain your skin. Minor drawbacks, but overall a definite winner :) -

Love these! Pixi Tinted Brilliance Balm in Unique Pink is a sheer, clear, highly moisturizing balm with a deliciously relaxing and refreshing spearmint scent. It goes on colorless and then self-adjusts to your unique coloring. The only drawback is that the moisturizing effect doesn't last long, resulting in the need to reapply often - and since these are a bit on the pricey side, all that reapplying can get costly after a while. Otherwise, these are a winner with me. The packaging is handy (hard plastic chubby pencil with a twist-up tip). -

This product is incredible - if you have oily, shine-prone skin or just want to set your makeup into a lovely, smooth matte finish, this is the stuff for you. Colorless, lightweight, sheer, and non-clogging, this fine white powder will take away your shine and keep it at bay for most of the day (I've had it easily last all day in the middle of summer). A little goes a long way, so the cost ends up being fair for the amount you get. No scent, doesn't alter the color of your makeup, doesn't make your face feel heavy or cakey...and you can wear it alone as well as over foundation. -

The new scent from Bath and Body Works is a luscious, warm, rich vanilla without too many extraneous "side" notes added in, which B&BW;can sometimes be guilty of. The scent is a little longer-lasting than many of their fine fragrance mists, and the packaging is beautiful. The dry-down is soft and powdery and stays true in its vanilla-ness, though it does tend to vanish after a few hours...but the smaller 2.5 oz spray is affordable enough that you can re-apply without splurging. If you're a vanilla lover, this scent deserves a spot in your collection. -
