I really enjoy the TRESemmé products! I've always purchased them on sale, which means I always get to try a new version of their great line. That being said, I am strongly considering making this version my regular shampoo. It smells great, it doesn't dry out my hair, but it also cleans very well which is really appreciated when you have thick hair like mine. I ran out of shampoo and had to use a different brand for a few days and my poor hair was greasy, heavy and I couldn't style it worth beans! Picked up another bottle of TRESemmé and my hair is much happier, lighter and feels great.
Pair this with the conditioner, and your hair is left smelling wonderful all day long. Even my boyfriend likes the conditioner! When I first opened the bottle I couldn't believe how good it smelled. I used to purchase just any shampoo that was on sale but was blown away by the great scent of this product. Plus TRESemmé products just seem to do well wth my hair. Worth every penny.

I bought this eyeliner because it's a nice short stick which is easier for me to use since I'm pretty much blind. I expected it to do what it says, be big and bold, it's nowhere near. It's watery, washed out and useless. Don't buy. I've sent an email to the company to see if they will rectify the issue, which may increase my rating, especially if it turns out that this tube is a fluke. -

I hate earbuds. They never fit my ears, they're uncomfortable, the left one always falls out of my ear and it's just a pain to wear. Then I learned about EarHoox.
EarHoox are a silicone piece that fits over your existing earbuds. They come in a package of two with two different sizes. They come in funky colours, and classic colours. I went with blue because I love everything blue. I sized my earhoox, put them on my earbuds, which was very easy to do, and then put them in my ears and voila! They stayed!
I've cycled with them in, walked around, sat in front of my computer and can now wear my earbuds for much longer than I could before without discomfort, and don't have to worry about them falling out. They're available on Amazon for purchase and are incredibly inexpensive.
Now I just need to find someone to share my large pair with.

I was first introduced to the world of eyeshadow primers through a sample I got at the drug store. I absolutely adore the product I was given, but it was out of my price range. So I began my search for the next greatest eyeshadow primer!
I discovered the Essence I Love Stage eyeshadow base, hoping for it to deliver. To be honest, it's a solid OK, however, it makes me wonder if it's just foundation in a bottle with an applicator wand. The issue with this product is because it is a shade darker than my skin, it is quite visible. I imagine it's a shade lighter than other skin tones, which again would make it quite visible. I suppose the point would be to cover it with eyeshadow however, the primer I had tried went on invisible, which is what I assumed this product would also do. It works well enough, but doesn't get my shades to pop as much as I'd like, and because this also has a colour to it, compromises the colours of my eyeshadows when I apply.
Although incredibly cheap, it's not worth the money.

I was looking for a nude lip balm, that would be something subtle that I could add to my regiment. This colour is in an identity crisis. It doesn't know whether or not to be a shade of brown that could hardly be called nude for my skin tone, and a bright pink that pops out from your lips and is anything but nude. When you look at the balm itself, you can see the pinky undertone that is hiding within the product. Although when you apply it, there's this dark nude quality to it, over time it becomes this almost fuschia, perhaps magenta, like colour that sticks to your lips for the rest of the day. Even reapplying doesn't help because you only add more of the pinky undertone that emerges after the nude has wiped off.
On the plus side though it does smell delicious. It has this wonderful chocolate aroma that is addictive. If only it gave me the nude colour I was looking for, I'd wear it all the time.

I got this lipgloss in the supersized rose colour. It's a nice lipgloss, applies well, and the colour is subtle. However there is something in it that makes my lips tingle. The first time I applied it I was a bit concerned, but I think that's how it makes your lips plump up. It lasts a decent amount of time without getting sticky and it allows for a gentle accent without being overpowering. I like NYC products because they are affordable, have a good range of colour, and do deliver on what I am expecting them to do. -

I was looking for a lip gloss that would add shine with a hint of colour, and this is what I got with Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss in "Cute Pink". Although the colour was a bit lighter than I anticipated, and the sparkly bits are a little scratchy against my lips, for an inexpensive lip gloss (less than $3 a tube) it performs well. It lasts a decent amount of time but does need a few applications throughout the day.
All in all it is a decent product that does what I was looking for it to do.

This is a great shade in the new line of Katy Kat Matte lipsticks from CoverGirl and Katy Perry. When I saw the commercial for the lipsticks, I was excited because it's matte, and the line includes some edgier colours I haven't found in other brands. I decided to get this colour because Katy Perry said it was one colour she would wear the most, which is why it's called Kitty Purry. I figured if it was a colour she likes, maybe it'd be one I like. I like it a lot. The coverage is great, it lasts a long time, it's a great price point - ~$7 at Walmart, and I got a lot of compliments on it.
Would definitely get again and keep as a staple in my makeup bag.

Despite the low amount of stars, I would still recommend this lipstick as a budget matte in a beautiful lavender. The reason why I like it is because of the smoothness of the application, the duration of wear, and the colour. The reason it scored so low in stars, is because the lavender does not pop as nicely as I expected, and your natural lip colour sneaks in through the colour of the lipstick, creating a lavender-pink hybrid. As the lipstick fades, it turns a shade of pink which I've experienced in past products from other makes. However, for the price point, it's a nice way to ease into an edgy colour at a low price. -

I really like the new matte lipsticks that Katy Perry has come out with CoverGirl. I was really impressed with how smoothly they apply, the all day wear you get and the fact that they don't smudge very much at all. I was also excited for there to be a lavender shade, as well as a black. I haven't found an opportunity to wear the black yet, will most likely do come Hallowe'en, but the two other shades I bought are great.
The downsides are only that the lavender doesn't really cover 100%, so it adopts a bit of a pinky-lavender as your natural lip colour shows through and after a while my lips feel a bit tingly, probably due to a bit of drying out. Also with the lavender shade it does fade to more of a pink. Really like the Kitty Purry shade though.
