“Ritesha Thomas is a proud mum of one and debut author of ‘The Diary of A Broken Woman.’ Her book was inspired by her personal upbringing, story of neglect from a distant mother, and unfortunate encounters in foster care. She has been hurt, abused, abandoned and neglected, yet this has not stopped her from rising to new heights and sharing her story with others, who may resonate with her own journey.
Ritesha believes that our pains and traumas can only make us stronger, taking her past wounds and destructive cycles, and alchemizing them into a heartfelt account of her own journey into adulthood which many young women can relate. In her free time she enjoys video blogging, networking and nearly anything crafty; while holding a passion for fashion. Ritesha has ambitions of becoming a motivational speaker and creating novels (to benefit others/ other people sharing a similar story who have also suffered abuse or neglect).
Ritesha spends most of her time looking for ways to not only empower herself but to also empower other women and is currently writing her second book, ‘The Seasons within the Healing;’ a sequel to her debut book. This upcoming book aims to inspire others to step out of their darkness and into their light, transcending past pains and traumas to rise into a new cycle.
