I have naturally poker-straight hair but got a perm so I wouldn't have to curl my hair all the time - I was recommended this by a naturally curly haired stylist as we were chatting and I was telling her we were going on a hot vacation. She said it worked wonders for frizz control, and it does - stood up to the Caribbean air, and also the Canadian prairie winter's static! Leaves my hair smooth, yet holds pretty well - doesn't look like I have product in it, smells light and not overpowering. It has a conditioner-like look when pumped out, and I don't have to use too much. Works very well with scrunching damp hair, which means I barely have to spend any time on my hair. Don't like that I have to go to a particular store to get it, but it is good when it goes on sale - time to stock up then. I feel like it could be less expensive, but haven't found a good alternative. -

Rinsing with water afterwards isn't an issue, it leaves a silky smooth feeling on your face and eyes. I haven't had any negative reactions to it, as I also have sensitive skin. Doesn't burn - I have sensitive eyes and I like that it notes that is it ophthalmologist tested. -

I have a perm (yes, they still do perms haha), so I was looking for some good hold with frizz control for winter humidity. I know it is max hold, but it left my hair crispy (I have had max hold and still touchable curls). I have had the 'wet' look gels - I'm not sure what their idea of 'smooth' is, but this just made my hair look greasy - I had applied at ends and scrunched, and it just made my just washed hair like I hadn't washed it in a few days. -

One thing that was a little odd - and I am not sure if it was just the tester size - but I felt like the wand and tube were backwards when I unscrewed it. The regular sized one I haven't noticed it being 'backwards'.
The tester size was a little 'wet' or 'oily' on first application, and I thought it sort of stung my eyes (wear contacts). I let it sit about a week and it dried out a bit , I decided to give it a go again and there was no stinging, and it wasn't 'oily' any longer (so the drying turned out to be just enough and wasn't flaky).

I love this brush - I have been asked numerous times if I had mink extensions since buying this GOSH Show Me Volume! (I don't!!) The price is right, and I could literally walk to the nearest pharmacy since there are seemingly Shoppers on every corner. Stays all day and doesn't give me those lovely 'under eye' smears I get with other oily-type mascara. Hasn't clumped on me, doesn't itch my eyes (I wear contacts), doesn't plaster my eyelashes together, or dry and flake off. -
