I am not a huge granola bar fan...but I can get behind this fruit and nut bar. I love that this bar whole nuts in it that I can actually taste. I found some bites to be a bit bitter (when I'm getting more cranberry), but I love that it is real fruit... +
I am not a huge granola bar fan...but I can get behind this fruit and nut bar. I love that this bar whole nuts in it that I can actually taste. I found some bites to be a bit bitter (when I'm getting more cranberry), but I love that it is real fruit - and tastes and looks like it. The dark chocolate adds some sweetness, and I just love chocolate.
I would buy this fruit and nut bar again and would recommend it to anyone who wants a healthy and tasty alternative to granola bars.

I am not a huge granola bar fan...but I can get behind this fruit and nut bar. There are so many WHOLE almonds in this, and you can actually taste them. I am not usually one for dark chocolate, but it added sweetness without being bitter. The only thing I was not a fan of was the blueberry. I LOVE blueberries, but found that the flavor took over all the other flavors.
I wouldn't buy this kind of Bookside bar again, but would definitely recommend it to any fans of blueberry.

I have mixed feelings about the Dream Blender. I have always used cheap, one-time use blenders from the dollar store, and never one I can wash or of this shape. The blender worked well to spread the foundation smoothly on my skin. I found the shape/thickness of the blender a bit difficult to get the foundation into smaller areas though.
My biggest pet-peeve with the blender was the handle. I actually barely used it, because when I would, I had no little control over the actually blender. I couldn't push the product in as much without feeling like the head was going to break off the handle. I would have preferred a larger blender and no handle.
I washed the blender after each used and was impressed with how much foundation was taken out, although there was a little staining.
I am unsure how long the blender can be washed and reused and still work well. But with the cost of the product, I will likely be sticking to my cheaper blenders. I would recommend this product to my friends though.

When I first received this foundation in the mail and put a small amount on my hand, I was sure it was at least 1 shade too dark. But when it was on half my face, it appeared to be a very close match, and I was very pleased. It is probably the thickest foundation I have ever put on, but it has a velvety texture and spread really nicely on my skin.
It has a matte finish on my skin, although has a bit more of a "caked-on" look than I would like. Although I wouldn't say my skin feels moisturized by it, it certainly doesn't feel dried out because of it. It came off easily when I washed my face and my skin didn't feel oily or greasy after it was removed.
I would definitely purchase this foundation again if it were less expensive, since my usual foundation has very similar benefits and is about half the cost. Nevertheless, I would recommend Dream Velvet Foundation to my friends.
Note: I applied the product with the Maybelline Dream Blender.

Ideal for those of us who want to moisturize and then use our hands without leaving greasy fingermarks everywhere! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
