I recently started using Aveeno Calm + Restore® Body Wash and Oat Repairing Lotion, and I am beyond impressed. As someone with sensitive skin, I often struggle to find products that are gentle yet effective. The body wash is fragrance-free and soap-free, making it perfect for my skin type. It not only cleanses but also strengthens my skin and improves its resilience. After my shower, I apply the Oat Repairing Lotion, which has a high concentration of prebiotic oat that deeply nourishes and helps restore my skin's natural moisture. It's non-greasy and doesn't clog my pores, which is a big plus for me. I received these products for free from Butterly, as part of the AVEENO® Calm + Restore Body Care, and they have definitely earned a permanent spot in my skincare routine. -

The addition of salt seemed to add an extra boost to the cleaning power of the soap, making it easier to remove grease and residue from my dishes. The vanilla and honey lotus aroma is absolutely divine. It is not overpowering, but offers a subtle, soothing scent that lingers on your clothes. The softener worked wonders on my laundry, leaving them unbelievably soft and fluffy. It also helped reduce static cling which is always a bonus. I can't get enough of the aroma! It's a perfect blend of vanilla and honey lotus – very calming and therapeutic. It's like a little spa treatment for your clothes. My initial experience with this product was less than pleasant. Upon application, I felt a stinging sensation which was quite discomforting. The scent too left a lot to be desired, it was not as appealing as I would have liked. The consistency of the moisturizer is also quite thick, which made it a bit challenging to evenly distribute across my skin. However, once fully absorbed, it did provide satisfactory moisture to my skin. Despite its shortcomings, it does serve its primary function of hydrating the skin quite well.

I was recently given the opportunity to test and review the PanOxyl Oil Control Moisturizer, sent over by Butterfly and Crown Labs. As someone with normal skin, I was curious to see how this product would work for me.
Upon applying the moisturizer, the first thing I noticed was how it left my skin feeling sticky. The texture was a bit odd to me, almost like a body scrub. It absorbed quickly into my skin, but leaving it with a sticky, matte finish with a white cast.
But, the true test came on the hotter days when I travelled. On these days, my face tends to get a little oily. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the PanOxyl Oil Control Moisturizer helped control the oil on my face to an extent. The only downside is how thick the product is and the slight smell to it.
