I have always loved the Dior J'adore (gold) perfume because of its bold fruity- floral fragrance. It really is the incarnation of bold femininity. The scent is strong enough to stay on throughout the day, but not overpowering; just a hint of flowers as you pass by someone. I always test a perfume before I buy it to make sure it goes well with my PH balance. This is one of those scents that I will keep on buying for a while. -

Sushi Garden on Kingsway in Burnaby is a sushi lovers dream. Their ingredients are always fresh so you know their rolls, sashimi and nigiri sushi will just melt in your mouth. If you love sushi you'll know this is the best place in the lower mainland and if you have never tried it this is the place for you, because of the freshness and array of choices. I always get their california and dynamite rolls along with salmon and ebi sashimi, they will not dissappoint. Their service is not great because they know their food is good, so don't expect them to hang on your every word, you'll have to flag them down to get some service at times. To top it off they have a new location in North Burnaby on Lougheed Hwy just past Willingdon. -

I have used liquid eyeliners for as long as I can remember, so when I heard that Maybelline was coming out with a gel liner I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. It comes in a small glass jar with a brush. If you're not one to use liquid eye liners don't let this deter you. It's very easy to apply. You just dab the tip of your brush into the gel and make small strokes gliding along the lash line, it's not as messy as liquid liners. The colour is intense and easy to alter, depending on whether you like it smoky or crisp. The only problem I have with this product is that it does smudge a bit; the colour of the liner tends to come off at the top of my lid, guess it happens when I look up. Trying to find a solution for that because it's a good product and I don't want to stop using it. -

The Lady Speed Stick Stain Guard antiperspirant has so many great features. I was hesitant to buy it because I've always used clear, gel antiperspirants, but decided to switch. This product is really good: it's invisible so it leaves no chalky residue on you or your clothes, smells like a garden and best of all helps fight yellow stains on your clothes! What else could you ask from an antiperspirant?! -

I bought the Maybelline XXL PRO 24 Hour Bold Mascara because I wanted thick lashes. Well, it gave me thick lashes (not as thick as other Maybelline mascaras but still satisfactory), but it is a pain to remove. They claim that you can remove it like washable mascaras... Um, not so. Even after rinsing it off with water, then eye make-up remover, then rinsing it again I was still wearing it the next day! So, unless you have a heavy duty makeup remover I would recommend you think twice before buying this product, that's if you don't mind wearing your mascara the next day. -
