NARS Smudge Proof Eye Shadow Base
I have hooded, oily eyelids and this is the ONLY eye primer that works for me! I've tried Smashbox, Urban Decay, Too Faced, Benefit etc. and they all crease after an hour or two of wear. This is the only one that lasts truly ALL day! It's amazing!... +

This is the only one that lasts truly ALL day! It's amazing! It's almost too good to be true. It's also white, so it makes eyeshadows stand out a bit more, which is nice. It's $33CAD, but it's completely worth it! I will keep repurchasing this for sure! NARS always has great products with sleek, cute, classy packaging and this is no different... It's AMAZING. -

What a beautiful palette! When it first came out, I had little interest in it. But after seeing so many gorgeous looks people were making from it, and reading the reviews I decided to go check it out for myself. So I went in store and immediately fell in love! It's sooo pigmented and creamy. Not to mention it smells AMAZING! The packaging is super cute too. Love it! I seriously underestimated this palette... and I regret not buying it sooner! -

I like this, but to me it's basically the same as a salve. It's pretty much just a very thick lip balm. I put it on before bed, I wake up and my lips are moisturised, but nothing special really. My salve from C.O. Bigelow has the same results when I use it before bed, and is $20 cheaper. I wouldn't repurchase this for the price that it is. I feel that this is really over hyped. It's better than a lip balm for sure, but definitely not a miracle worker or holy grail product. -

I was looking for a white highlighter, and saw that this palette had one, plus five others.. so I HAD to buy it. It's a great price ($35CAD), considering some single highlighters are around $50 each! I have very pale skin, and I absolutely LOVE the white one me. I also love the pink ones, and the the lighter gold one. The only one I'm not too crazy about is the darkest one, but I actually use that as a sparkly contour sometimes. Overall this palette is a great buy! They apply easily, stay on well, and can be built up to your desired glow. I find these are PERFECT for simple highlights. They can look a little flat, but sometimes that's all I'm looking for! I don't always love an over the top, super sparkly and bright highlight.. but when I do, I can use this, and apply my illuminator by UD overtop and it's perfect! I'd rate this a 9/10 -

Okay, story time: I've always sweat a lot, and it's super embarrassing. I couldn't wear light coloured shirts because I'd have giant pit stains, and after a few wears, the shirts would become stained yellow and were basically ruined. My wardrobe consisted of dark blue, navy, dark grey and black shirts. If I wore any type of coloured shirt, I'd have to wear a black cardigan overtop to make sure no one could see my underarms. It was awful, and I was so self-conscious ALL the time. I've tried every brand of extra strength antiperspirants, and though some work better than others, none worked well enough for me. I was slowly just accepting the fact that I'd be doomed to wearing dark coloured shirts forever. Then I saw an ad for Drysol, and when I looked into it I saw tons of people with similar perspiration issues, saying that this stuff really worked. So I gave it a shot and bought it at my local drugstore. The first night I applied it, it made my underarms SUPER itchy. But it only lasted about an hour, and then went away. I noticed in the morning, my underarms were dry, and stayed dry all day. Seeing results after day one was awesome. The next night, I applied it again, and oh my goodness it burned SO bad, and even left red bumps. I then realised, maybe I wasn't making 100% that I was completely dry before applying. So the night after, I applied again, after ensuring I wash and dried my underarms super well, and waited about 5 minutes after drying, and then dried them AGAIN, just to make sure, and that worked. No itch, no burn, nothing! And I was thrilled. Since then, I just reallllly need to make sure that I am 110% dry, before applying. This works wonders for me. I don't sweat anymore! Something I never thought I'd be able to say. Drysol has been a total life changer for me, and now I'm happy to buy clothing again! I couldn't recommend this product enough! It's wonderful. Just make sure you follow the directions correctly. -

I was looking for a lightweight alternative to heavy foundation. I still wanted SOME coverage, but I didn't want to have a full face of makeup all the time. A Sephora associate recommended this to me and I've fallen in love with it! It covers my red cheeks, and gives a good amount of colour, but it feels like I'm not wearing makeup! I love it! I have an oily tzone, and dry cheeks and I don't find this makes me oily/shiny, and it doesn't dry out my skin either. The only negative thing about it is that it's hard to squeeze out of the container! They should make the opening bigger. -

I purchased this from Sephora on sale for almost $30 off! It's a beautiful palette, a very nice selection of bold, bright colours. You can make a ton of gorgeous looks from this palette! The eyeshadows themselves are not my #1 favourite, as they could be more pigmented than they are... but once you build them up they're great! I would definitely recommend this palette for the price it's at now! -
Philosophy Clear Days Ahead
I bought this on a whim, and it works pretty good. Clinique still is #1 in my books, but this is a good #2. It helped get rid of a nasty blemish on my chin, and doesn't dry out my skin, or have a weird smell etc.
