Sometimes I like to have a defined curl that will not move when I need it to lay dormant. Flexible Hold Hairspray. Now I have tried multiple hair care products that include "flexible sprays". Most leave you with the crunch or simply do not work at all and it feels like you sprayed air on your head. Dove Style+Care Flexible Hold is somewhere in between. I don't find it stands out in a crowd but it does give your the flexibility with a hold. No crunchiness and it did give me a light hold and again the scent was light and not overbearing.
Do I think it's the best I have ever tried, not really, but I do love when a product proves itself to be worthy of my hair and I have not wasted any money.

This is where the DRY SHAMPOO-possibly god's greatest invention comes in to play.
You spray, you shuzzzz and then you go. Nice light scent, your hair will feel like it's back to it's happy zone and your oily hair is gone.
It's pretty straight forward with Dry Shampoo's and the scent is important (to me anyway).

Yes I know it specifies "hair treatment", but it works as a serum.
I always used on wet hair, the scent was out of this world (Macadamia) and it was effective, which is what you want. It kept my hair soft with a nice scent and easier to manage.
Definitely purchasing again.
Great for curly headed girls and guys!

It's a straight up no for me, not due to ineffectiveness but due to scent. For some reason the Conditioner scent was even stronger than the Shampoo and it made me nauseous. Did I get a bad batch, unsure, but despite the fact that the conditioner did soften and add a nice sheen to my hair, I simply can't go back. It let me down because I trust the Dove brand something was just off about the scent. -

I have permanent fuzzies (Curly Headed Gal) and it definitely made my hair soft and easier to manage. Soft, manageable hair is a HUGE DEAL for us fuzzies.
I will be honest I was not thrilled with the scent of the shampoo, it did not go down well with me.I have high expectations when it comes to Dove and it did not match the expectation.
It did soften my locks so that was a plus plus plus.

I tested this product as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club and I don't always like everything I try but lately I have loved testing the Garnier line of face products, They are genuinely doing a great job at offering great products that work.
My face has looked a lot brighter, cleaner and toned this week. Thanks Garnier!

My face is currently soft like butter and personally my face does look brighter (see attached photo). Lately I have been really paying attention to my skin, I am getting older and my skin is changing, I have been using the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water in conjunction with the smoothing moisturizer and within a week my skin has improved greatly. Soft, brightness and a more alert look. I am happy and I will be buying when I run out.

If I were buying this, the blender would have been a really good selling feature. This is not your average foundation sponge. Cool little add on and I dug it

I don't wear a lot of foundation or cover up in general but I wanted to try this out to prove to myself that it would not clog my pores, ruin my skin, etc.
I loved the fact that I did not have to use a lot for the coverage I needed, I used it as a base and then added a powdered translucent highlighter. It actually enhanced my features, can't go wrong with that. As the saying goes, a little dab will do ya!
Maybelline has great products in general, and I trust them, I don't think I realize how much my decisions on makeup/foundation has a lot to do with trust of the brand. Saying that I feel this tube will last me a while as I did not use huge amounts (You really don't need to). I am taking it on my vacay in April to help me look silky smooth (in the face at least)! Velvet is an accurate name and description, it goes on better than butta.
This is my year to try and try again, so I am really happy with the results and the fact that my skin is all good with using the Maybelline Velvet Dream.

I'm getting older (mentally I am still 15) and my skin is requiring more attention. You can take care of your skin for a reasonable price,you do not,I repeat don't always have to buy $100 products to add moisture,elasticity to your skin. The Face Oil initially had me scared, I did not want it to encourage breakouts on my face,neck,etc. It worked well,softened my skin on my face and added moisture. I would most definitely buy this again! Ladies just keep trying with your skin and don't give up :)
