This product was sent to me to review as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Panel.
What I like the most about this Micellar Water is that there is no sticky residue left behind. You really do feel like your skin is super clean after using it. I like that it's gentle, and I have had no allergic reaction to it. This is very important in a product that you are using daily.
It does a really good job taking off the powder foundation and blush that I use everyday. For taking off my mascara, I find that I have to hold a cotton pad soaked in the product to my eyes for a minute or so. Even then, I have to go over everything a couple more times in order to get all traces of the mascara off. If you are using a waterproof mascara, I don't think that this product alone will be enough to do the job. The plus is that there was absolutely no stinging or tearing up even though my eyes were in direct contact with the product for an extended length of time.
I would totally recommend this to anyone that is looking for a simple, quick, effective, yet gentle, method to clean and refresh her face.

The positive is that they have a lot of merchandise for you to browse through. The negatives are that most of them are overpriced and unless it's a brand that you know well, the quality is questionable.
I only shop there when they try to entice me with their $ off emails, and even then, I will only buy if the item is on sale and it is something that I actually need. They charge for shipping for EACH item instead of one overall price, which adds up to the cost.
I recently bought a sweater that arrived with all the seams unraveling, and all I had to do was to pull one of the yarn pieces hanging out, and I could have unraveled the whole sweater. The first customer service agent that I spoke to told me that there was absolutely no refund or exchange because it was a clearance item...never mind that they were the ones that had shipped out the defective product. She even hung up on me when I pointed that out to her.
Luckily, the second agent was more helpful and authorized a full refund once the item was returned. It's now two weeks later and even though it's confirmed that I had sent the item back to them, they can't find it at their warehouse!
There is no way that I would ever recommend this company to any friends or family members.

This product is now discontinued, but one can find them still from various etailers. It's a pretty "meh" product. I was all excited to use something that is supposed to be good for your skin, but in reality, it doesn't look so good on.
The color that the sale associate recommended to me was 302 Golden Beige. He said that it was a good match for my golden complexion. The problem is that the color oxidized on me throughout the day, and I ended up looking like I had put orange bronzer all over my face.
The powder is not the smoothest and I don't find that it blends that well. Maybe there is a good reason why the Body Shop discontinued it.

You know there is so much to recommend when it comes to this product, but at almost $60 for a bottle, it's extremely overpriced. Because of the ridiculous price, I would not be buying this again, but I do recommend it for people who don't have an issue with the price tag.
I like that there is a range of yellow golden tones available, which cannot be said for other foundation lines. The coverage is very good, but still not so heavy that it ends up being mask like. I do notice that by the end of the day, it does start coagulating on my skin and doesn't look as good as it did when it was first applied.
I have gotten compliments on how healthy and glowy I look when I am wearing this foundation. It does provide a very nice smoothness to the skin. Having said that, my drugstore priced Maybelline foundation also does the same thing!

I was sent this to test along with the Vichy ProEven daytime serum. I have used this product for almost 2 weeks now, and I am loving how glowy my skin looks in the morning! I can't really tell if my dark sunspots have actually lightened, but I can tell you that I wake up to pretty good looking skin! I am very happy with the texture of the serum and how well it absorbs into my skin. I haven't developed any sensitivity to it which can sometimes happen with products that promise to lighten hyperpigmentation. This serum is a keeper! -

I am one of the lucky gals who got selected to review this for ChickAdvisor. I started using it exactly 7 days ago, so honestly, at this point, I don't see any improvement or lightening with my dark sunspots. But that's ok, as the manufacturer has stated that it does take a while to see any improvement. I am going to continue using this every day until the tube runs out, and then I will definitely be able to see how effective this is. In the meantime though, I am loving the texture of this serum. It's nice and light and absorbs really well into my skin. Some days when it's hot out, I don't even need to put any moisturizer on top of this as it seems to do a pretty good job of keeping my skin supple. Makeup goes on smoothly over it. Thank you, Vichy, for another wonderful skincare invention in your arsenal of skincare products. -

I received the Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar twin pack to test from ChickAdvisor's Product Review Club. Even before I took the soap out of its packaging, I can definitely smell it. The scent is strong from the bar itself, but I am pleased to say that it leaves behind a fresh light scent on the skin. My skin is quite dry, and it always feels tight after a shower. I usually have to moisturize right away to prevent the uncomfortable dryness. The Dove Original Beauty Cream Bar lathers really well and feels luxurious on my skin. It rinses cleanly off, and leaves my skin feeling soft and supple. I still have to moisturize after showering, but my skin no longer has that uncomfortable tightness after using this bar. I definitely would recommend this to anyone who wants an affordable, moisturizing bar soap. -

As someone who has used a manual toothrbrush all her life, I was very excited to test the Oral-B Pulsonic Power Toothbrush. Looks wise, it's very slim and modern looking and fits unobtrusively into my bathroom's decor. If fits very comfortably in my hands, and is lightweight and easy to maneuver. Since I wasn't sure how powerful the pulsing would be, I initially used the toothbrush as the "sensitive" setting, but since have graduated to the "clean" setting. At first, having a device that cleans your teeth in a vibrating/pulsing motion instead of the standard up and down and back and forth took some getting used to, but my teeth have never felt cleaner. The bonus is that I don't get the bleeding gums that I sometimes get when I brush too hard manually. I also really like using the precision tip brush head to get into those hard to reach areas at the back of my mouth that sometimes are difficult to get a floss to .
After using this for the last week, my manual toothbrush has been sadly neglected and will now have a new role of cleaning the grout in my bathroom. There is no way that I would go back to using a manual toothbrush when the Oral-B does such an excellent cleaning job with way less effort on my part.
