Olay Foaming Face Wash for Sensitive Skin does nothing fancy but that’s actually something I like about it. Because I wear fairly thick sunscreen everyday plus some makeup I prefer gel cleansers that foam so I get a nice clean base before I put any skin care products on. In the winter however, I struggle between getting that clean skin feeling while not turning my face into a big prune. This cleanser removes makeup and sunscreen easily, is totally fragrance and oil free, and comes in a fairly generous 7oz sized tube. It has more cleaning power than a cream or milk cleanser but isn’t has stripping as many foaming cleansers. -

I actually really like L’oreal’s Lash Out Butterfly mascara. Application is clean and clump- free and the brush allows you to create certain levels of lash drama. I find that I don’t have enough control with super big brushes and often opt for itsy bitsy ones. This brush size, however, falls somewhere in the middle but I can still maneuver it properly around my relatively tiny eyes.
I don’t find that it crumbles at all or at least not until the very end of the day. PROS:
Good size medium brush
no clumps
buildable for low to intense drama
cheap
CONS:
weird smell; to me it smells like flowers and chemicals all at once

As far as tinted moisturizers or BB creams go I am a huge fan of tarte’s Amazonian Clay BB Tinted Moisturizer. I usually wear foundation but in the winter I try to incorporate moisture into my routine anywhere I can. I wear it when I want to wear minimal makeup but still want some coverage. It’s great if your skin is feeling extra sensitive from the weather or particular skin care products or even exfoliating procedures like peels.
PROS:
wears well
moisturizing but not greasy
fragrance free
contain antioxidants
has decent coverage for a tinted moisturizer
does not look cakey
SPF 20 with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide
CONS:
on the pricey side
so so colour range

When I got home, I prepared to wash my makeup off. When I first pumped some into my palm I thought there was no way something that airy and light was going to effectively remove my makeup but I went for it…
WOW! I can see what all of the fuss is about. This cleanser helps me achieve that fine balance between feeling nice and clean but not feeling parched. It’s labeled as Pure Unscented but still has a nice light smell that leaves no discernible scent behind once rinsed off.
Ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin, Decyl Glucoside, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, Water and Leuconostoc Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Niacinamide Calophyllum Tacamahaca, Melaleuca Alternifolia, Allantoin, Algae*, Camellia Sinensis*, Salix Alba*, Panax Ginseng Root Extract*, Zingiber Officinale*, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract*, Vitis Vinifera*, Comfrey, Chamomilla Recutita*, Symphytum Officinale*, Cucumis Sativa*, Vaccinium Myrtillus*, Saccharum Officinarum, Acer Saccharum, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis, Citrus Medica Limonum, Citric Acid.
If you wear an especially heavy and/or greasy sunscreen or moisturizer you may want to repeat the process.
PROS:
light texture
light fresh smell
comes in travel and home sizes
removes makeup
leaves skin feeling clean
does not leave skin dry
CONS:
this isn’t really a negative but you may want to use a tad more products to remove extra stubborn or heavy products such as thick sunscreens or moisturizers
