What’s a summer afternoon without a little Caesar to set the mood? Mott’s Clamato is the only choice of mix for a Caesar so I was excited to try the new “Reserve” line. I mixed up a mocktail for myself just the way I like it: a little lemon and lime juice, three dashes of Worcestershire sauce and two dashes of hot sauce, two ice cubes and Clamato Reserve. Add a bit of rimmer to the edge and a shake in the glass, and whatever pickled veg there is in the fridge (today’s choice: dill pickles and carrots) and you’ve got yourself a drink! It was delicious, but with all of the mix-ins, I’m not sure that it is worth using the special “Reserve” Clamato. -

Wow! This creme really delivers on the hydration front. It's a bit too much for the summer for me (although it does work great on a flaky sunburn), but I can definitely see using it more in the winter to combat dry skin without the heaviness.

This micellar water may become my new favourite for removing makeup and just giving me a general "clean" feeling throughout the day. I've used other micellar waters from more "luxury" (French pharmacy-style) brands, but this one from Nivea really holds up, at a much lower cost. It takes off makeup and dirt (from living in the city) with no effort, and doesn't leave my skin feeling stripped or residue-y - which makes it pretty much perfect in my books! -

Good lip balm to prevent chapping when you feel like your lips are getting dry! Even my boyfriend liked it, which says a lot about the neutral packaging. Received free through the Chick Advisor Product Review Club.

Urban Decay 24/7 Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
I have this in a glittery dark purple shade. The applicator is easy to use. I was worried that it would only be suitable for nighttime but the glitter is subtle enough that I can wear it to work. It looks striking when I'm out in the sun though!
