I'm not a huge fan of either of the main characters, but I was so drawn in by the rich strangeness of their story. Definitely worth a read... but I will warn you, you have to pay attention as it jumps around a lot. -

This is absolutely, 100%, the most atrocious waste of time, ever. I admit I'm a lit snob... but there is good young adult fiction out there.... this is not a good example of that, or of good writing. The popularity of these book among adults appals me... the characters are unappealing and uninteresting. I apologize for the negativity of my review, but I honestly cannot find anything positive to say about this one. -

The only toothpaste I use - and I can always find coupons/sales for it. It's worth every penny, I don't think I've had a cavity in the 5 or so years that I've used it. I'll never switch.

There's a local place where you can buy it by the packet so I've tried several flavors and liked them all. I also feel like it gives me an energy and productivity boost as well. Can't beat that :) -

I think most of us have been wary of mousse because the 80's aren't quite forgotten yet :)
But... volume can be hard to achieve for those of us with finer hair. After a really great hair appointment the stylist used a similar product on my hair and blew it dry with a round brush, and I immediately had to know what he used. Turns out, it was discontinued and he recommended this instead.
I love this mousse.... it's really a volumizing foam, and you pump a nice mound into the palm of your hands. I rub it through dry hair and either blow dry - for full, straight volume - or air dry - for nice texture and volume. As long as you distribute it evenly, this mouse is never crunchy or sticky (though if you accidentally leave a glob, it can flake - so user beware), and it leaves my hair full and soft. This is not mega-super-bombshell-shellaced volume, but it's natural and beautiful. Great for everyday use, and I find that it lasts a couple of days between washings (only like to shampoo/wet my hair every 3rd day).
Also - the bottle is BIG and I've used it about 3-5 times a week for six months and it's still got about 1/3 left. That's pretty decent for a salon product, if you ask me. Also, the bottle is only $16.75 or so in Canada, which I find very reasonable. I have tried quite a few other volumizers and this is my favorite by far for everyday use. If you're looking for crazy-hold and crazy-volume, I recommend Big Sexy Hair Concepts Root Pump. Great Stuff! It can be used in conjunction with this for a super awesome blowout.

This is a great conditioner - it smells amazing, works well, it leaves my hair volumized and soft, pretty and managable. You really couldn't ask more of a product....
Except, I have a problem with the label "naturals." Yes, it has USDA certified organic essential oils in it, and claims to hae lower sulfates... but how much lower is "lower" when they're among the first ingredients listed? I just have a problem with this kind of marketing... if it's true, great, and if it's not... well, I don't know - it seems a bit underhanded if you ask me. This conditioner is affordable and easy to find, and I quite like it. I wish I could confirm or deny whether or not it's actually lower in sulfates or "natural" in any way other than the essential oils.

So.... it's a good shampoo and smells amazing. Works just fine, cleans and volumizes very well. But I'm having some trouble with what might be a shady advertisiing technique by Tresemme. If someone can confirm or deny, that's fine - I'd love for this to be natural and low in sulfates! It's quite cheap and easy to find. I want to love it, but I'm wary of all this "natural" marketing.

This is a good basic conditioner. It's not too heavy, it's not greasy. It rinses clean and leaves my hair soft and manageable. It works well with the Aqua Light shampoo and conditioning shake. I have no qualms with this conditioner at all but...
I find it's really not the workhorse of the trio. It works just fine - good, even - but it's nothing super special. Just a good, decent conditioner... but I have a sneaking suspicion that if you substituted another conditioner in with this trio of products, you'd get the same results. As a stand-alone product, I find this to be the forgettable one.
Don't get me wrong - it does a fine job, it's just nothing remarkable. It works fantastically with the Aqua Light line, though.

This is a great shampoo.
I have straight, fine hair. It used to be quite thick but was ravaged by a thyroid condition. Now that I'm back on track with that, my hair has largely recovered, but it's a lot thinner than it used to be. So I try to stick with volumizing products. This is why I was attracted to this shampoo - weightless nourishment. Hm. Could such a thing exist?
I find that it does. This shampoo lathers well, smells great, and leaves my hair soft, shiny, managable and volumized. I use it in conjunction with the conditioner and conditioning shake and have gotten great results.
I've had mixed results with Pantene in the past - I find that a lot of their shampoos leave an awful buildup on my hair and scalp... so I'm reserving a bit of judgement until I see some more long term effects of this shampoo (I've only been using it for a week and a half at this point), but I'm pleased enough at this point to continue using it. If it works out - I may have found my new everyday shampoo! Definitely worth a shot!
