My friend and I joined this gym last October because of a promotion they were having. Thought it was a great deal. My friend was constantly harassed for payment and she couldn't figure out why. I on the other hand had no communication whatsoever...   +

My friend and I joined this gym last October because of a promotion they were having. Thought it was a great deal. My friend was constantly harassed for payment and she couldn't figure out why. I on the other hand had no communication whatsoever up until last week. I received an email stating that I had an outstanding balance. Which I thought was really strange. Replied to the email got some generic answer, never really answered my question. Told me to contact head office. When I contacted them this morning, they stated that I owed them $18.64. I asked her why I was being charged membership is over, and she stated that it is a bi-weekly payment since your 1 year is over. My credit card was charged the $18.64, I was WTF!!!! She then tells me that I needed to go down to the gym to cancel my membership in person but that takes 30 days to cancel so I will be paying for yet another month. This place is just a cash grab if you ask me. This company uses peoples credit cards without your knowledge. BEWARE PEOPLE    -
