Lynn Valley Mall
With few big shops (Zellers, Winners, Shoppers Drug Mart, Save-On Foods, Safeway, and a liquor store) Lynn Valley Mall is not a big hit with most of the community. The mall lacks shops for most of the younger residents, and it's much more worth it... +
With few big shops (Zellers, Winners, Shoppers Drug Mart, Save-On Foods, Safeway, and a liquor store) Lynn Valley Mall is not a big hit with most of the community. The mall lacks shops for most of the younger residents, and it's much more worth it to venture downtown or even to West Vancouver to pick up some new outfits! As far as food goes you are set, with two grocery stores, Kim's Farm Market, a butcher, etc, it is easy to find what you need quickly. -

Physician's Formula Happy Mood Booster Face Powder
I bought this at my local Wal-Mart after seeing the ADORABLE packaging! How could any girly girl not love a powder made up of little pink hearts? It also was on sale and contained a $6 mail in rebate coupon - score! I love this product in the summer... +
I bought this at my local Wal-Mart after seeing the ADORABLE packaging! How could any girly girl not love a powder made up of little pink hearts? It also was on sale and contained a $6 mail in rebate coupon - score! I love this product in the summer when I have a little tan - throw on some mascara and sweep my cheeks with the Happy Booster powder and I'm ready to go. It comes in a few different shades and I opted for Natural, which is a combination of pink and dark beige which goes perfectly with my olive skin tone. Definitely love it. Another plus is that it is lightly scented (something floral?) but does not irritate sensitive skin. Physicians Formula does make pretty nice powders. -

I found this product at my local Winners for a cheap $4.99, and decided what the heck, why not. I got home and tried it and applied my regular foundation over top and voila! Bags were gone! The consistancy is a little thick but still works perfectly. Definitely a must try for busy ladies who like a good deal! -

I got this while visiting Hawaii as the sun was drying out my skin and was super impressed. It's not an oily mosturizer but still gives a beautiful mosturized look with a hint of sparkle that is noticable in the sun. I also loved the price, about $6 if I'm not mistaken. Definitely worth every penny! -

One complaint is that it can go on a little clumpy (easily fixed by scraping a little off on the side) and messy if it gets wet, I would recommend this to anyone who is willing to spend a little more on a nice mascara. Easy to get off as well with water alone! -

I absolutely love this lip balm, from the scent to the packaging. I kept seeing advertisments for this products and picked it up at my local Wal-Mart for $4. I have three - blue with pink (Quenched, no flavour), green with purple (Peppermint) and orange with red (cherry). I think that peppermint is definitely my favourite, goes on like Vaseline and leaves your lips feelings soft. I don't agree that it's supposed to last for 8 hours and feel the need to reapply, but I do find a difference in my lips. The cherry flavour also adds a little color and looks great on! The packaging is also very appealing. -

I have two of these mascaras - non-waterproof in the color for brown eyes, and waterproof in black gold (for green eyes I believe). I have one complaint about this mascara - super flaky! The waterproof holds up a little better but can be close to impossible to remove even with makeup remover. I find for this reason it irritates me eyes a little and I wake up with dry eyes if I leave any on. Love the length it gives my lashes though, and the flecks of gold go nicely with a little gold eyeshadow! -

I got a sample of this toothpaste after getting my braces removed, and figured I'd give it a try before buying a full tube. I tried it for three days and then got the WORST canker sores I've ever experienced! I'm talking the size of my pinky finger nail. I searched it online and realized this toothpaste contains sodium lauryl sulfate (it makes toothpaste foam) which can in turn cause canker sores. For those prone to canker sores stay away! I wasn't able to use it for long enough to notice a difference in color. -
