As soon as I removed the plastic from the box I received from XY stuff I was overwhelmed by the smell. The scent of this soap was so strong it was headache inducing. I had to give it to someone outside my home to test it. They said it was a very nice cleansing soap. It left their skin feeling clean but not dry. They also felt it did a better job of clearing up their oily skin. However, they also mentioned that the smell was overwhelming. -

I recently had a chance to try Dove gofresh antiperspirant in Pear and Aloe scent. The scent is very light and fresh, not overpowering. The stick is white as most women's antiperspirants.
I found it quite moisturizing compared to other antiperspirants. It left minimal staining on clothes and washed away easily. The scent was very nice but didn't last long enough. I found it took quite a while for it to dry/absorb once it was applied. I also discovered that it didn't meet my needs in terms of 48hr coverage unlike the dry spray of the same line. Overall, quite satisfied and would recommend it.

I recently tried this hair mascara that I received for free from Chick Advisor. I was given dark brown as that's the closest to my colour. At first I was afraid that the picture of dark brown on the box was the actual colour, thankfully it wasn't. The picture was much lighter and warmer than the actual colour. Phew! The colour match was pretty well bang on for my cool toned dark brown hair.
The application was a bit of a pain. Unless you separated your white/gray strands from the rest you basically had no option but to colour all the hair visible. I had to lift and colour multiple layers to get the coverage I needed. Taking that into consideration it was difficult to not over apply. Even with sufficient drying time in areas where I succeeded in not over applying, the colour still bled when running my fingers through my hair.
Knowing the average cost of this product, in my opinion, it's not worth it. The tube is only slightly larger than the average regular mascara tube. If you have to apply to multiple layers like I did to get the right amount of coverage, the tube would be done in no time.
If you only have a couple of gray hairs this product might work for you or if you require very light coverage. With the amount of coverage I need it wouldn't be feasible for me to buy it and the colour bleed is probably the top reason why I wouldn't.

This was one of two samples I received. I really liked the fact that Annie's is known for organic and natural products. So nice to have a quick meal option that's not full of chemicals, especially when it comes to boxed mac and cheese. This pasta had really great flavour though I personally preferred the shells with white cheddar. The box said it was an improved recipe, not sure about the difference as we hadn't tried it previously. It was also nice and creamy. After trying Annie's I won't be going back to KD. It is a bit more expensive but totally worth it in my mind in terms of quality and flavour. -

A much healthier alternative to other chemical filled boxed mac and cheese. The shells were my favorite of the two boxes I got to sample. The cheese sauce is nice and creamy and coats the shells well. They are a bit more expensive but totally worth it in my mind in terms of quality and flavour. -

I picked the Piña Colada flavour to try as it's not typically a drink I make at home. It was quite sweet but very good blended with ice and some Malibu rum. I received this moisturiser with the gel cleanser. It was nice to be able to use a product line together to see how it works. In all honesty I felt like the cleanser did all the work. The moisturiser didn't provide much moisture, it definitely felt more like sunscreen. I also found that it didn't absorb very well despite blending repeatedly and left streaks like cream sunscreen can. I all also wasn't crazy about the texture of it on my skin. I feel that it will require more use before I can fully determine its efficacy. -

I really enjoyed the cleanser. You only need a small dollop of the gel to wash your face so it goes a long way. Within 3-4 days my rosacea calmed down quite significantly. Some of the redness was still there but the irritation wasn't. I was really impressed with how well it worked for the price. I've tried several other "calming" products and they normally much more expensive. This is a great buy! -

So this was step 1 in my product kit that arrived. Based on the colour chart on the box I knew I would not get very blonde results. My hair is dark brown and I typically colour my hair with salon colour or with a stylist. My hair also has very warm undertones which i knew would give me a brassy result right off the bat.
The application process was simple but the instruction sheet could have been clearer for those not used to bleaching products. The smell was very mild which was nice for a change. It also had a nice consistency which made application easy. I chose to do foils as it would take about 4 bottles to do all my hair... maybe more. For the first 15 min the colour lift was pretty even but then it started to get patchy and wasn't lifting well. I had to add more to the foils. I checked it every 15 min and left it in for just over an hour. The result was mixed. Where I had regrowth the colour was about 2 shades lighter but the overall result was a caramel brown and very brassy. I applied the toner and left it in for twice the suggested time. It made a little difference. I have to say though, for a lightening product my hair was still relatively soft and didn't appear to be as damaged as it could have been. Overall the results were ok but not fantastic. Definitely wouldn't recommend it for people with dark hair with warm undertones like mine. If you have long thick hair you would definitely need several boxes to do your whole head which negates most of the savings by doing it yourself instead of at the salon.

For me this was step 2. I used the lightening kit on my naturally dark brown hair. Unfortunately the results from that were still quite brassy even after the toner was applied. I knew based on that, it would alter my results of the blue creative colour kit. I decided I only wanted dark blue so I didn't use the pastelizer. The results were good but not great. Because my hair was brassy it turned blue/green rather than straight blue. Despite reapplying the colour as needed for full coverage in the foils, the colouring was uneven. It was a bit disappointing but fun none the less. I would use it again and likely with better results if I used professional lightening products first because my hair is so dark. -
