I tried this product because I thought it looked like it might have less added ingredients, and therefore be better overall as to what would be ingested.
However, the thick, smelly goo is horrible! I have no idea how well it works, if at all, as no one in my family can stand it. I was sad to toss out an expensive (and possibly less harmful) product, but it had to go and will not re-enter our home.

I have purchased this product multiple times, to take in conjunction with other things when I have a cold. The thing is, I have to take more than the recommended amount to notice it actually working. Granted, this may be because I take it when already sick instead of on a continuous basis (but I take too many other pills to add another to my daily regimen).
Not sure if that is the nature of the product or if a different brand would make a difference. Or, again, if taking this daily would change the outcome.
I suppose I would recommend this with the caveat that more than the DRA may be needed.

My child will ONLY take Hyland's brand, as he prefers the non-gooey, gentle grape flavor and texture. Even if he is whimpering in a constant state of woe, he refuses any other brand.
We have used this brand for 4 or 5 years (since I first discovered it). I like it because it is closer to natural - it's homeopathic, which I prefer - than anything else I've found that my child will ingest, and it works wonders. Just last night, in fact, I gave my kiddo some and he was able to sleep.

An herbologist friend recommended this to me a couple of years ago when I needed something ASAP for my child, and had no time to wait for her to brew some for me.
To my surprise, my picky child actually LIKES the taste of these, plus I feel good about them, as Black elderberry is a healthy, natural supplement (by itself, anyway). My little one enjoys the gummies AND doesn't fuss when I give him the homeopathics (pictured) when we run out of gummies. (I buy the homeopathics for myself).
It is now my go-to product!
