I am loving Real Techniques! Their products are very affordable and give you a flawless look. I am all about finding and standing by brands that offer affordable products that actually work! Like I said in the past – I’ve always been a Beauty Blender lover, but I have been pulled away and onto better sponges (that also save me some money for more things)!
Real Techniques 6 Miracle Sponges come with 3 different sponges to help cover, correct, and colour.
Their Miracle Complexion Sponge (orange), which is shaped to create the perfect base and build coverage where needed. It can be used damp or dry for different coverage. I use all my sponges damp because I like how they give a flawless, airbrushed look.
Their Miracle Sculpting Sponge (pink) is primarily used for contouring/highlighting with the use of the different edges of the sponge. This helps give a more controlled application. Like the Miracle Complexion Sponge, it can also be used damp or dry.
The little sponges (purple) are their Miracle Mini Eraser Sponges. They sweep away any fallen makeup when used dry, but when damp, they’re perfect for blending out any harsh lines.
I’ve been using these for the past couple of weeks and I am really liking the Mini Eraser Sponges out of the 3 different ones the most. I am used to using sponges for an all over application but never smaller ones for more precise applications. They sponges are all very soft and work great! Compared to my EcoTools Perfecting Blender Duo, they do seem softer and soak up more product, so I like to use these for a lighter look. I would definitely recommend these to anyone trying to find a new set of makeup sponges.

This brush is meant to apply liquid and cream foundations, giving you a flawless complexion. You use it by buffing the product onto your skin in circular motions.
Since I’ve found great success in applying my foundation with sponges, I was a little worried I wouldn’t like this. When I first used this brush, I didn’t have time to use it on a day where I had time to sit down and do a full face of makeup. I was in a rush to go out but needed some foundation/concealer, so I grabbed this brush to quickly apply it. It did leave a flawless application, but I found it to be very light – which is most likely because of the buffing motion. I would definitely continue using this, but on days where I just need a light fix. I found I had to go over trouble areas (under eyes, over red spots/acne, etc) with a sponge for a bit more coverage.

These days, there are so many different ways to curl your hair. You can use a traditional curling iron, a hair straightener, or my go-to: the curling wand. For the past couple of months I’ve seen so much buzz around the Infiniti Pro Curl Secret. If you haven’t heard of it by now, it’s an automatic self-propelled curling device that “sucks” your hair into it and curls it for you in about 8-10 seconds.
The Infiniti Pro Curl Secret has tourmaline ceramic technology which helps reduce frizz and fly aways, and protects hair from damage. It has 2 heat levels and 3 timer settings to create different curls. I am sure everyone’s main concern is what happens if your hair gets caught. Mine actually did on two occurrences, but the Curl Secret automatically stops and goes in reverse to “spit” your hair back out. All you have to do is un-clamp the device and pull it away from your head to remove your hair. I haven’t even heard of it actually getting stuck or or ruining anyone’s hair, so I was never worried!
After using this for a couple times, I’m not sure I’m entirely convinced of using it over my curling wand… but it’s something I will keep on hand for convenience. It does the job very well so I have nothing negative to say. I think I just prefer the way my hair looks when using a curling wand.

When I first saw this tool, I thought it was something straight out of a torture chamber – and then to think this is something that touches your face… it looks terrifying! However, that didn’t stop me from being curious on how it works.
The Derma Roller is a handheld device that has tiny medical-grade needles sticking out of it, which when rolled across your skin, has the ability to naturally stimulate collagen and elastin. It creates microchannels in your skin, which triggers the body’s natural healing process to create new, healthier tissue.
I received the Derma Roller for free to share my review on it. I chose to try out the 1.0mm sized needles mainly for the benefits it provides. Here’s a chart of the different sized needles and what they are best for:
To start, I washed my face and sprayed the Derma Roller with rubbing alcohol. I rolled the Derma Roller across my face in sections – 4 times vertically, 4 times horizontally, and then 4 times diagonally. At first it felt like little stings, but then the more I went over my face, the more it began to hurt. Some spots were more sensitive than others (I couldn’t do my chin or upper lip!), but I could easily do my forehead.
After using the Derma Roller, my face got red and blotchy. My acne and previous scars were definitely more noticeable as well. I used a collagen mask as well after using the Derma Roller to promote faster skin healing. I left it on for about 20 minutes, and when I removed it, my face felt so soft. It was still a bit red, but the next day my skin looked noticeably smoother.
Overall, I feel with continual use of this, I will definitely see a difference in my skin. I do have a lot of acne scars, so I am hoping this will help with further healing!

I enjoy Saint much more than Sinnner. The great thing though is that you can layer these two perfumes for a completely new scent! I like to wear Saint throughout my day, and at night add a mix of Saint/Sinner over top of the old scent. It’s great to see a brand stick to the same look and feel, and stay true to their product line. I don’t think I would buy the full sizes bottle of this perfume because it's too expensive for something I won’t regularly wear, after all, scents give me headaches. However, I have read many reviews of people LOVING this scent – there is a reason why they brought them back! I would highly recommend picking up a bottle of Saint if you’re into the sweet vanilla scents.

Saint is a dreamy, romantic and alluring floral fragrance which is inspired by Kat’s own duality. She is tough and tattooed on the outside, but totally sweet at heart! This gourmand perfume fuses jasmine and Tiaré flower top notes with a delicious heart of mandarin, caramel, and sparkling Mirabelle plum. Vanilla, sandalwood, and creamy musk build to the romance of the fragrance, imparting a warmth that reminds Kat of falling in love for the very first time. Saint is a poetic exploration of the lesser-known, softer side of Kat Von D.

When I first applied this mascara, I really liked how long my lashes looked. They didn’t necessarily look fuller, but I could tell instantly that they were longer. I was happy with this mascara and how it made my lashes look, even though it didn’t live up to what it’s claimed to do. However, after a while, one of my eyes felt like there was something in it. Most likely, one of the fibers from this mascara flaked off and went into my eye. I struggled to find something in my eye as it was bothering me for HOURS but found nothing. I was at work so I couldn’t just remove my makeup and redo it.. so I suffered with this all day. First world problems, am I right?
When I finally got to remove my makeup, my eyes instantly felt better. To be honest, this isn’t the first time a mascara with fibers in it has bothered me. I think I’ve come to terms that I simply don’t like wearing this mascara, regardless of how it makes my lashes look!
I’d recommend this product to anyone who wants more length on their lashes, and who have had prior success with mascara’s that have fibers in them. Revlon is a great brand, but I personally, would not purchase this particular mascara.

I received Vim's Power & Shine Multi-Purpose Spray with Bleach for free from ChickAdvisor in return for my honest opinion. This stuff works so well, I don't know why I never used it before. For any stubborn marks, I just spray this stuff on, let it sit for a bit and then clean it up. It works wonders! The addition of bleach works great, but you do have to keep in mind where your spray it!
