Maybelline’s new Dream Velvet Foundation is said to be a hydrating matte foundation that leaves your skin with a 100% velvet-smooth finish. I received this foundation in the shade Classic Ivory 20. This foundation is best used with their new Dream Blender Sponge.
I was very excited to try this since I’ve never used a whipped foundation before. The first thing I noticed was that a little bit of the product goes a long way – which is awesome. But then I noticed how the Dream Blender doesn’t apply the foundation nicely onto my skin – it just pushes it around on your face. It didn’t blend it at all, so when the foundation was set, it looked very caked on. It looked FLAWLESS (from far), but I noticed about 2 hours later that my foundation was actually flaking off. But the rest of skin just looked packed with makeup. I always wear moisturizer before applying any makeup, and I’ve used the same one for a while, so I know that’s not the issue.
The Dream Velvet Foundation isn’t my favourite foundation that I’ve ever used and I would definitely not replace any of my current foundations, but on a random day where I’m feeling risky or need a quick makeup application I would probably reach for it (just because I have it)

I've been looking for a new camera for the past couple of months. I'm in a couple of facebook groups for bloggers, nail art, etc and I remember someone mentioning that the Sony a5100 is a great camera, especially for bloggers. After doing some research, and even looking up different cameras, I decided the Sony a5100 was in fact the camera I wanted. It's the size of a digital camera, but functions like a DSLR camera!
The camera has so many great features. I was really interested in finding a camera that could take videos and could have the screen flip up so I could watch what I was doing as I was filming (I just need to wait for the tripod I ordered to arrive!). Here are some great aspects of the camera:
● The 24.3MP Exmor R APS-C HD CMOS sensor brings out the beauty in even the simplest things. It delivers incredible detail and low noise, so you can capture the finest textures.
● The APS-C sensor size, the same sensor format found in Sony's full-sized Alpha DSLR camera lines, combines high resolution, high sensitivity, and dramatic blurred backgrounds.
● Bionz X processor works seamlessly with the sensor to produce crisp still images with area-specific noise reduction, true colour rendering, and low noise.
● High-sensitivity ISO 100-25600 captures beautifully in low light, limiting the noise so every exquisite and vibrant detail pops out.
● The included 16-50mm E-mount retractable Power Zoom lens is small and compact, barely protruding from the front of your camera so you can still slide your a5100 in your jacket pocket with the lens attached. It features ED and aspherical elements for reliably sharp and detailed images well suited to everyday shooting.
● Record Full HD videos in your choice of fast 60i for smooth action sequences, or slower 24p frames per second for a traditional, cinematic effect of the entire game.
● Tiltable 3-inch 921K-dot touchscreen LCD. It flips upwards up to 180 degrees so you can indulge in perfectly framed selfies or low-angle shots, and change your view on a whim. The touchscreen LCD provides better focusing control, and a more intuitive way to navigate menus and play back recordings.
● Wireless file transfers and one-touch pairing with a compatible mobile device are easy with WiFi and NFC connectivity. Sony's PlayMemories Mobile app lets you touch your camera to an Android smartphone or tablet, and create an instant connection through NFC for sharing, remote control, and basic editing.
● Sony's lithium-ion rechargeable NP-FW50 battery lasts up to 400 shots on a single charge. The innovative InfoLITHIUM battery system lets you see the power percentage remaining so you can shoot with confidence.

NuMe's Lustrum has 5 different 100% tourmaline-infused ceramic coated barrels; each with the ability to create the most versatile curls and waves imaginable. The set even included a heat-resistant glove.
The Lustrum set came packaged in a heat resistant pouch (which is really handy for travel), and that was packaged inside a cylinder "box" (pictured above). A heat resistant glove was also included with this set to help prevent your hands from burns. The five barrels came in sizes: 19 mm, 25 mm, 32 mm, Pearl and Reverse, which can each be used to create a variety of looks.
NuMe's Lustrum has a very sleek and polished look. It looks very professional and could easily fit in at a fancy hair salon. It has a simple "on/off" switch and heats up fairly quickly. It has a red light that turns on (beside the NuMe logo) to notify you that the curling wand is on. This is very helpful because an old curling wand of mine didn't have this, and I ended up leaving it on all day... oops.

Irresistible Me's Sapphire 8-in-1 Curler is amazing! It has 8 different interchangeable barrels, which can give you a ton of different looks. Each barrel is ceramic & tourmaline infused. The sizes that are included are 13mm, 19mm, 25mm, 32mm, 18/9mm, 25/13mm, 13/25mm and a pearl wand (which gives off more of a natural curl). It also heats up to 230C/250F, and included a heat resistant glove to ensure you don't burn your fingers! The whole set of barrels, the wand, and the glove came in a heat resistant pouch that held everything in their own little compartment.
When first holding the wand itself it felt really light, and sort of cheap. But after putting in one of the barrels, it felt really sturdy and had a good weight to it. It has a LED screen that blinks the word "OFF" until you hold the power button to turn it on. It shows the temperature the wand is at, and when you select what temperature you want it to be, it will gradually get hotter and show you. It goes from a blue screen to a green screen when it's at the temperature you set. I tested it out for the first time, and it took 39 seconds to heat up!

I bought this product after seeing multiple youtube stars using it for their makeup routine. I needed a white base on my face for a skeleton look for halloween. This product went on opaque and acted as a good base for my makeup.
I also use it on my waterline and it makes my eyes look way bigger. I'm very impressed with this product and will buy it again.

The curling wand itself is great. It heats up quickly and gives great results. The only thing I wish it had was temperature settings and a light to indicate the product is "on". Without these, the product itself shouldn't be worth more than $50.
