I was really excited to try this product because I wear foundation, concealer, and powder everyday (among the rest of my eye makeup), and I want to ensure at the end of the day that my face is super clean to avoid a breakout. When I first tried Amie's Morning Clear Purifying Facial Wash I was a bit confused. It doesn't lather up nearly as quickly as other facial washes, and although my face felt super soft after, I didn't quite feel "clean". It's has a thick creamy texture, and feels like a thick cream (think cocoa butter) rather than a light foamy facial wash that I'm used to. I'm sure it's because of all the natural ingredients and it's formula to leave the skin soft (and of course, after reading the ingredients, it sure is packed with cocoa butter! Explains the thick formula). I'm not sure if this will lead to further breakouts (it might clog my pores), but it's something I'll have to look out for after using this a lot more. I'm sure it will be VERY useful now that the colder weather is coming and my skin will start to dry out.
I plan to continue using this (maybe alongside another facial cleanser just to ensure maximum cleansing! haha) and I hope my skin stays velvety smooth :) I'll just have to remember to massage it on my face longer than my usual facial wash to get some sort of lather going. I read other reviews online (just to see if maybe mine was a bad batch or something), but most people have the same concerns like me. However, a lot of people who continued to use it over a longer period of time do say that their skin is much softer and smoother. So I'll have that to look forward to :)

I started by opening the super cute package of wipes, and pulled one wipe out. They're a really good size, and felt very durable. I used it all over my face to remove my foundation and my eye makeup. I use A LOT of mascara and it actually got most of it off. That's pretty impressive for a product that is free from parabens, mineral oils, petrochemicals, and animal extracts. I told you guys before how great these products were; they're suitable for vegetarians and vegans, dermatologically tested & cruelty-free approved. I would've thought that a product like this wouldn't be as effective as other products on the market, but they're just as good!

I washed my face everyday and went over my face with this cleanser & toner afterwards. Even after washing my face, this cleanser & toner duo cleansed away makeup that was left behind on my skin. It was very gentle (as is all of their products), and even with the addition of witch hazel, my skin didn't feel dry afterwards. I was a bit skeptical at first because I'm used to toners being more of a clear liquid, while this one was more of a cream. It did the exact same thing "liquid toners" would do, and it didn't leave a creamy film on my skin afterwards. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone! -

I washed my face and after it was dry, I applied the serum onto my face. A little does go a long way, so I suspect this bottle to last me a while. When it was completely dried, I applied a moisturizer over it. During the colder nights, I have a heater on in my room to keep me warm and when I wake up my skin is really dry, especially around my eyes. I noticed that after using this product, I wake up with smooth, moisturized skin. I'm very happy so far with this product, but I have to use it a bit longer to see long lasting results. -

Recently I've been getting darker circles under my eyes and I needed a new concealer. The one I usually buy wasn't available, so I needed to find a replacement. I saw Rimmel's Wake Me Up Concealer and thought it looked impressive. It claims to be a "full coverage concealer Instant anti-fatigue effect with peptides and vitamin moisturising complex. Visibly reawakens and illuminates under the eyes. Completely conceals spots and other blemishes."
It's formula is very thin and does not provide a full coverage look. I have to apply it 2-3 times before it actually looks like it's working. I feel like this would be a good product if you're looking for a light coverage.. but it does not give you the full coverage that it says to give.

I bought this product to help clean my brushes easier.
To use the Brushegg, you stick two of your fingers into the bottom of the egg, apply a small amount of your cleanser to the Brushegg, get your brushes wet, and then start swiping your brush back and forth over the ridges. As the leftover makeup was coming off, I would occasionally rinse the Brushegg and my brush to help remove the "dirty" cleanser. When the cleanser and my brush were clean and didn't show any signs of makeup, I rinsed it once more and then lay my brush to dry on a towel. It was definitely easier to clean my brushes this way, instead of using my hand/fingers to do it (that also didn't always get my brushes completely cleaned).
I really love this product and will definitely use it every couple of weeks to clean my brushes and sponge!
