I am not lactose-intolerant, but do try to monitor my intake of dairy. I’ve always liked almond milk, and Ben & Jerry’s ice creams so i was really interested in trying this.
My favourite thing about Ben & Jerry’s is how they stuff their ice creams with big chunks of chocolate, brownies, cookie dough and all that good stuff! They put way bigger pieces into their products than most other ice cream companies do, and the ice cream itself is always creamy and tastes authentic.
I had the same expectations for their Non-Dairy products, and I wasn’t disappointed!
The base for this product has a decent chocolate flavour, and the texture is pretty smooth compared to other ice creams. It almost reminds me of a fudgesicle; slightly less creamy and rich than a real ice cream.
My boyfriend, who is NOT into anything that has words like dairy-free, was actually surprised at the taste and said it wasn’t bad at all. I think the brand name gave him the courage to try it, as we both love regular Ben & Jerry’s. He wouldn’t eat more than a bite, and said that it wasn’t the same as real ice cream, but he was still impressed, and liked the brownie pieces. I’m glad he tried it, and don’t mind getting the rest of the tub to myself!
I couldn’t find the newer flavours of the Non-Dairy in my local grocery store yet, but I will definitely purchase them when I do! I can’t wait to try the Half-Baked version, especially.
I really enjoyed trying this out, and definitely recommend it as a somewhat lighter but still very indulgent treat.

I love the scent of this and the matching products! It’s so relaxing and makes me feel great.
I usually prefer a more deep conditioning product for my hair, because my ends get a little dry. This is pretty good, but not quite as moisturizing as I like so I save it and the shampoo for at least every other wash.
The scent is leaves is intoxicating for me, so I will for sure be buying this again when I’m out. I know others who like lavender scents so I will be recommending these products!

I love having a shampoo and conditioner that matches my body wash! And lavender is one of my favourite scents, so this is easy to love.
I only need a little bit of this ( it seems like less than that I usually use with my other shampoo) to cleanse my somewhat thick, medium length hair. It does leave my hair a little too clean feeling, and not as easy to brush through when I’m styling after, if I don’t use anything else but the conditioner. But it does a great job at cleansing my hair, and leaves it smelling so beautiful!
I don’t use this every time I shampoo, more like every other time, but I really love using it and would recommend for sure.

Lavender is a favourite of mine, so I was happy to try Love Beauty and Planet’s new line of lavender scented body wash and hair products. This body wash lives up to my expectations, as it reminds me of my favourite scent and treats my skin gently.
The ingredients ( like argan and coconut) help my skin feel soft and cleansed, and leave a light scent. This smells a little bit more herbal (like straight up lavender), whereas I notice the coconut more as well in the shampoo and conditioner. Overall its definitely a sweet, relaxing scent.
I would definitely recommend this, and will be on the lookout for this brand in stores to buy refills!

Batiste Cherry Dry Shampoo is the fragrance I've been looking for in a dry shampoo! I love variety when it comes to products, especially fragrances, and have found that some dry shampoos smell the same and get boring. Batiste is probably my favourite dry shampoo brand, because it works well AND offers different scents like Cherry and Tropical. I've tried and love Tropical, but hadn't yet gotten my hands on Cherry, so it was awesome to be chosen by ChickAdvisor to review this for free!
The scent is very pretty and a great pick-me-up for my hair. It's sweet and fruity, and also floral (my boyfriend said it was more like cherry blossom than straight up cherry). It makes my hair feel fresher and gives it some texture, without making it look powdery or weighed down with product. My hair is a mixed shade of light brown, and this is not noticeable unless I use way too much.
I think Batiste is definitely the go-to brand for dry shampoo. It's affordably priced and comes in so many great varieties! Cherry is now my favourite, and then Tropical, and I can't wait to try the Brunette and Volume ones next!

I’ve tried a bunch of different brands and formulas of dry shampoo, and this is one of the few that I would definitely purchase more than once!
Dove hair products have consistently impressed me, and this is no exception. I prefer to wash my hair every other day usually, but being around different things like smoke and cooking smells can make my hair feel like it’s less than fresh sometimes. There are tons of products out there that are great at refreshing the scent of my hair, but Dove Refresh+Care Volume Dry Shampoo is great because it’s a multi-tasker. It smells like Dove’s typical shampoo and conditioner, and is a bit powdery and” perfumey” but still nice and pretty. I do wish there were more fragrance options (like Batiste) but it’s a nice scent, and the performance of this dry shampoo is the most important.
Lots of other dry shampoos I’ve tried don’t do much for volume overall, or it doesn’t last long. There are also the ones that leave a powder or product residue, making my hair look and feel worse than if I hadn’t used dry shampoo at all! But this one is definitely better than most I’ve tried at making my hair LOOK refreshed overall. The spray is more powerful and even than other canisters of dry shampoo, but it still manages to be airy and light. It only takes a few sprays to do the job, and my hair is instantly refreshed.
I would love if Dove came out with more versions of their dry shampoos, as each one I’ve tried makes my hair feel great! I do like the fragrance, but sometimes it doesn’t suit my mood, and it can be strong to some people. If there were more scent options, this would be my absolute favourite brand of dry shampoo!
I received this travel sized bottle for free from ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest review.

The Nutriforme bars are the sweetest that I’ve tried. The Decadent Fudge flavour was very chocolatey and satisfying for when I craved something sweet. It had a really chewy texture which I love, and a few little bits of crunchy rice(?) for some crunch. I’ve tried a few other similar bars, like Vector other Power bars, and none of them tasted as good as this!
Sometimes I don’t feel like I have the time to make myself a healthy breakfast or lunch during the day even when I’m at home all the time, and these came in very handy for filling me up quickly. After eating one of these for, or with my lunch, I didn’t find myself peeking into the fridge or cupboard for another snack, and I really felt satisfied for a longer period of time. I would like to maintain my weight and stay healthy, and I didn’t stick to it fully but still found the Nutriforme Diet plan interesting and helpful. It’s a good reminder of basic meals that are easy to prepare.
My family wasn’t too interested in trying these, but I was glad to and will probably buy more. I think they’re great to have around, and they’d be perfect for packing with our camping and road trip stuff this summer. There is quite a bit of sugar in these bars (18 g), but when eaten with other healthy foods throughout the day it isn’t too much of an issue for me. I love that they’re made by a Canadian company, and there are lots of other flavours that sound like they’d be tasty. I would definitely repurchase the Decadent Fudge again, and highly recommend these over any other similar product that I’ve tried.

I was happy to try Super Energex and definitely noticed a slight energy boost on the days that I’ve used it. The biggest obstacle to enjoying this product is the flavour, but it’s been fun trying different beverages and seeing what works.
The box says that its orange flavoured, but I get an artificial vanilla extract scent and taste from it. It also reminds me of the taste of vitamins, and overall is a little bit hard to swallow. It honestly doesn’t taste horrible, but it’s just very different.
The instructions say to dilute this into water or juice – preferably orange. I’ve tried this with water, and it didn’t work out for me! I think because it changes the colour to such a dark brown, and adds a little bit of a thickness to the water. Since then I’ve stuck with stronger flavoured juices – raspberry lemonade was good, and orange juice is the best! The orange juice almost perfectly masks the taste (although it still changes the colour).
Super Energex definitely gives me an extra boost of energy for the day, whether it’s for real or just a placebo effect. I think the act of quickly drinking down a cold glass of juice in the morning definitely helps wake me up and get me going, but overall I feel a little more focused and ready to take on the day! I often hit an afternoon slump and start dragging my heels, especially depending on my sleep the night before, but on days that I’ve taken the Super Energex I didn’t have that feeling as much, which makes a huge difference for me.
The plastic ampoules are pretty convenient and I found them easy to open. I think the price (around $12) is very reasonable, considering there are 20 ampoules per box.
The “orange flavour” statement is a bit misleading – I think it would be better to advertise that this mixes best with orange juice, or something like that. However I was happy with this product, and would recommend it for sure. I won’t be using it every day, but I will be reaching for it on days when I know I’ll need all the help I can get!

I've used this all over my lips to help my regular lipsticks stay in place longer. Lip products always wear away in the centre of my lips first, and leave it looking like I only lined my lips ( which is a huge pet peeve for me)! So using this all over helps quite a bit.
This is totally clear, and doesn't affect the colour of my lipsticks at all. The packaging claims that its creamy, smooth and hydrating (plus waterproof). It is somewhat creamy but also a bit waxy feeling. It makes my lips feel a bit tacky but it isn't terrible. I've had drinks with no problems, but as soon as I eat, this doesn't really do anything to stop my lip product from transferring and disappearing ( which isn't a huge surprise ).
This is a bit expensive ($16) but I used some Julep points to buy this. I don't think I'd pay the full amount for it because there are other lip liners that do the same thing for less. It is convenient because it can be used with any colour, but the formula feels slightly sticky. I will definitely use this up but probably won't repurchase.

I have the e.l.f. Eyeliner brush and was very happy with it, UNTIL I bought this! This is about the same price as the one from e.l.f. but it is so much softer. I really prefer using this brush now, because it feels so much nicer on my eyes and it works perfectly. I feel like this brush actually picks up more pigment, so it's way easier (and quicker) to tightline my eyes, which is the main job I use this for.
I like to apply eyeshadow as liner a lot, and this makes it easier to do and much more pleasant. The bristles don't poke my eyes, and the handle is a really cute green shade. The handle is also a bit shorter than most of my makeup brushes, which I kind of prefer. It also comes in a little reusable plastic pouch, that opens from the side which is easier to open and I feel like it doesn't damage the bristles as much.
I will be picking up another one of these for backup, and would recommend it to anyone who uses eye makeup!
