I've always been a fan of Cheerios cereals, especially the Honey Nut, and this one is a new favourite as well.

Fall is my favourite time of the year, especially because of the delicious foods and drinks that are associated with it! Pumpkin Spice Lattes are the bomb, but I can't get to Starbucks as often as I'd like to, so I was pretty happy to see the VIA Ready Brew version.
I'm not a fan of most instant coffees anymore, but knowing it was Starbucks AND Pumpkin Spice, I was sure this would at least be drinkable. But honestly, it is delicious! It isn't quite as perfect as one that you'd get freshly made in the shop, but definitely close. It has that same creamy sweet taste, with lots of gorgeous pumpkin-spice goodness. And of course, the coffee part is delicious and satisfying; bold enough to give me the coffee fix that I need and totally complementary to the other flavours. (The ingredients say it has instant AND microground Arabica, which is probably why it tastes more like a fresh brewed cup than other instant coffees I've had.)
These are very simple to make, just heat one cup of milk and then mix it up - I like to use a whisk to make it frothier.
For almost $7.95 you get 6 single-serve packets, which might be expensive for instant coffee, but definitely worth the price for an instant Pumpkin Spice Latte! And really, I spend that much on one drink at Starbucks whenever I go there, so this is a deal.
I am so glad I tried these out, they have saved me from pining away for a fresh Pumpkin Spice Latte until I can go to Starbucks. I will for sure be looking into the other VIA Ready Brews as well!

I got this in a value pack, full of the Cocoa Butter lotions and a big tub of Vaseline. It was a great deal, because I already use the lotion every day, and always need something like Vaseline on hand in case I get dry lips or hands, etc.
The little tub this comes in is really cute, although it isn't the most practical thing for sanitary reasons.
I usually go for minty lip chaps, but the cocoa butter scent of this is nice and way better than just regular Vaseline! It is somewhat thick and can feel a bit sticky, but it's very soothing and moisturizing. Plus it can pretty much be used like regular Vaseline, so it's great to have around for beauty purposes as well as keeping lips and skin moisturized.

I got this in Avocado & Oatmeal. Once a week or so, I use this mask, and it definitely makes my skin feel nice and soft.
It seems to help clear out my pores a bit, and they look a bit tighter after using this as well. My skin feels a bit more soothed after as well. I don't know if it's the best mask I've ever used, but it does give really nice results and is fun to use. This one has a nice scent, and the texture is smooth and thick, so it applies perfectly without too much of a mess. Plus, you can't beat the price, and there is a nice selection of different masks to treat different things. And they come in sample packs as well as bigger tubes, so you can try out a few to find which ones you prefer.
I have tried the Lemon one, and it wasn't my favourite - it seemed to irritate my skin a little and the scent was too strong. But overall I would recommend these facial masks, especially the Avocado & Oatmeal!

I got a free sample of this from Garnier, and was so happy to try it out! I have seen these cloth/tissue facial masks before but for some reason never considered trying them.
I've definitely been trying to even out my skin tone lately, and specifically want to lighten up some dark spots on my face, so this seemed perfect for me.
Since I only had one mask to use, I haven't seen huge results with any dark spots, BUT one use definitely made my skin look and feel hydrated and a little brighter. Plus, just using the mask was nice. The cloth is literally soaked in the serum, so it felt a bit cooling and just soothing overall to have it on. I love using clay masks, but usually start counting down the minutes until I can take it off, once it starts drying. But with this mask, the 10 minutes you're supposed to leave it on went by so quickly, and I felt like leaving it on longer because it was so relaxing!
The scent of the serum was soft and pretty, and it soaked into my skin really well after I was done with the mask. Plus, it didn't bother my combo/oily skin at all.
I really appreciate being able to try this product out for free, because it was really nice to use. I'll be putting these on my shopping list for sure, and definitely recommend others to try them out!

I've been having great results with Garnier's Pure Shine Control Moisturizer. It has zinc and clay to help control shine, both of which are supposed to be great for that. Plus, it's supposed to work well under makeup, which is important to me since I've been wearing a lot more on my face lately.
I've been using Garnier's Deep Scrub Gel with this lotion, and immediately after cleansing and applying this my skin looks matte and feels clean. This does a great job of moisturizing in the areas where I get shiny (forehead, nose and chin). Even after a whole day, my skin doesn't look half as shiny as it usually would with other products. It also seems to help with breakouts, and doesn't clog pores at all.
My only complaint with this product is that it does make my skin feel a bit tight in areas that are less oily, like my cheeks. It's not a huge deal though, and I kind of expected that so I just use a bit of regular moisturizer on those areas if necessary.
This product seriously works so well, if you're looking for something to help with shine control and don't want to clog your pores.

This is something I decided to try for fun while experimenting with some new makeup. I always had an issue with shadows creasing and not looking as good, the longer the day went on, but didn't really think about using a primer. Now that I have it, it seems like a staple in my makeup collection!
I bought the smaller sized tube of this (0.2 oz.) and am not worried about it running out anytime soon, even though it's getting a lot of use so far.
A TINY little drop, like the size of a sprinkle, covers both my eyes well. I love that a little bit goes a very long way, and really makes your lids a perfect, blank canvas for makeup.
My eyelids always start to get oily later in the day, but whenever I use this they stay perfect. The Primer Potion keeps eye shadow/liner/mascara/etc. from smudging and creasing, and actually helps the colours look as vibrant as they were meant to. Plus, it literally lasts all day long. I also like to put a tiny bit of this under my bottom lashes sometimes, to help my mascara/liner stay put, and it works like a charm.
I also got a sample from Sephora with all four Primer Potions (invisible original, nude matte Eden, shimmery/ champagne Sin and Anti-Aging), and can't wait to try the others. I like how the original acts somewhat like a concealer for the pale skin on my eyelids, and makes the colouring look even, so I'm excited to try Eden and see how much it covers. Sin is supposed to add some shimmer to eye shadows, so that will be fun to try out with some different eye shadows.
Overall, I am in love with this product, especially since it never really occurred to me to use it before. It is definitely worth the price if you want your eye makeup to look perfect for hours on end.

I've been using Essie's base and quick-dry top coats, but just got my first actual Essie nail polish recently, in Cashmere Bathrobe (from the Fall 2013 Collection).
I've been looking for a nice gray type of colour, and when I saw this it looked perfect. It's a "soft, true flannel gray", with a few tiny specks of shimmer/glitter. I love that it's a rich, creamy colour, but not too dark, and the shimmer flecks are only visible up close. They give it extra shine, but it isn't an actual shimmer or glitter polish.
The formula was great - just like other higher end nail polishes, it was easy to use and dried well.
The brush Essie uses isn't my absolute favourite but it gets the job done well, and definitely gives a bit more precision because it's slightly smaller and thinner than some brushes.
I really love Cashmere Bathrobe, and look forward to trying some other Essie shades!

I've tried the Caramel (Macchiato?) flavour, and it was so delicious on those really hot days this summer. It is sweet and creamy, and you can actually taste some coffee in there as well. I love all the iced coffee type drinks at Tim's, Starbucks, etc, and this is just as good as those, and less expensive.
It was delicious on it's own in a glass full of ice, but I think it would be just as great or even better if blended with ice!
I bought it at WalMart for only about $3, which is a great price (seeing as I'd spend that at Timmy's for one drink).

I got this in Caffeine Rush. It has some really nice colours - they're mostly bronzey/gold brown type shades. They are beautiful and the colours themselves would be perfect for daytime as well as night, but I do find that these are super shimmery. There's nothing wrong with that, but I don't always like to wear a ton of shimmer during the day all the time, so I would use these more for when I'm going out somewhere or at night.
The shades are laid out in order for you to use them, if you want to do the whole look (a base shade, lid, crease, liner, as well as a 'luminizer'). They work really well like that, as well as on their own or any other combination you like. They're also nice for doing a subtle smoky eye, as they blend out pretty well.
The sponge applicator that it comes with isn't as good as using some decent eye shadow brushes, but it's still good to have in the palette for emergencies.
I would definitely wear a primer with these (I have tried it with and without, and with is definitely better)! And there is definitely some shimmer fallout around your eyes, if you're not careful. But overall these go on well and last just as well as most eye shadows.
I got this "on sale" for $8.99, and think that was a decent price. It's got a nice variety of shades in each palette ( the purple, green and blue ones look really pretty), and the quality is good.
